Nice touring bicycle setup. I prefer using a Burly Nomad trailer and front panniers. I like how my bike handles with a two wheel trailer. My travels take place on both paved and gravel roads.

Good video mate.. 2 thing i would change i would removed front roll bag replace it with a large sea to summit bag it would be more stream line than that narrow and long front roll bag .. also as mention before i would get 2 meritgear pop corn bags for stem bags easy and fast access to camera gear

Outer shell makes a camera strap. Might be worth looking at

I recently went on a 4 day self supported tour. Bike + all the stuff = 30 kg.

How did the adventure go and where did you ride.
It's kinda surprising how much everything weighs when the bike is packed

How about making a video on the foods that you take along? I'd really like your opinion on this, cheers.

That’s on the to-do list :) I’m not the most adventurous with this in honesty!

Evoc do a camera specific capture waist pack which I bought earlier this year, not had much opportunity to test it but seems pretty comfortable and the camera is easily accessible.

The most important consideration for set up is, Does it work for you. It is not necessary to have eyelets to screw your cargo racks to your bike. I use hose clamps, so it is easy to relocate a rack or water bottle holder. If you are a person who is bothered by scratches to the bike paint. First wrap the bike tube area with tape then mount the rack. Your bike packs cross the divide between bike packing and bike touring set up. This is not too different from what I call bike touring setup for myself that I have used the past 55 years. I carry a flat bottom one or two quart/liter Swiss Sig pot, depending on the trip needs. A flat bottom I feel it is less likely to tip over. I 'm anti canister. I prefer the refillable gas Seva123. No empty canisters to dispose of. This past year I have switched to wide mouth double wall stainless steel quart/liter bottles. I'm done with plastic water bottles. Your English is very good, are you Dutch?

Always like to see how other people pick their bags 😊 Have you looked at using TPU inner tubes as your spare, to save space and weight?

I haven’t actually! Not something I’ve ever tested either. One for the list of things to try out 😂

The variety of textures in the kislux pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.
