Love your vids but this knocked it out of the park for me. Lovely cinematography, great soundtrack and more importantly Caledonian Sleeper😊 Really enjoyed that - when the world seems to be burning down in flames, your videos are a balm for the soul ❤
Another cracking video Tom and you can really see the effort that goes into making your films. The number of different shots that you cram into your films must mean you spend as much time off the bike setting up the shots as riding your bike. I applaud and appreciate your efforts. It's a shame your films don't get more views as the certainly deserve more recognition. I found it quite amusing to see you set up your camp whilst keeping your helmet on for the duration of the setup. When I'm setting up camp the helmet and gloves are the first things to come off usually for me. I'm guessing the Scottish midges might be the reason to keep your helmet on?
Thank you! Yeah hopefully they’ll pick up again after the summer holidays but let’s see. To be honest, I just forget I’m wearing it. Very comfortable and I can normally set up the camp so quickly I don’t notice!
Having bikepacked 34 of the Scottish islands, Mull and Iona were probably my favourites of the lot and so were the first place I went back to, that video (and following the feed of various people riding the Pan Celtic race around there this year) had definitely made me want to head back again.
It was good to spot you on the road towards Pennyghael as you were making for Iona, but good God man, sort your socks out. You look like you've got you old school socks on. 🤣 Great video, again. 😊
All my favourite roads to cycle I was first to ride the newly laid A861 and I do love the Camusnagaul Ferry saves the nightmare of the A 82 which I’ve done many a time .
great film Mr 366 - nice music too. funny - this years panceltic race went to Mull, brought back so many memories. I (sadly) had to scratch not long after that but the road back on the mainland (Lochaline) to the 'no car' ferry back to F. William was awesome. Loved it so much taking wife there with her bike next week - can't wait. Thanks for sharing.
Great trip and lovely video….I’ve done a lot of cycling on Mull and noticed you seemed to have landed lucky with so little traffic on the road to Mull. There is an off-road alternative, which involves a hike-a-bike, following the beach footpath.
Amazing scenery up there, I'm in the market for a bike for primarily bikepacking, Would you say a gravel bike is the better "everything bike" than a hardtail MTB?
Thanks! It depends on what you’ll be using it for tbh! I did a whole video on it here: m.ruclips.net/video/yldrMa6pbKo/видео.html&pp=ygUabXRiIHZzIGdyYXZlbCBiaWtlcGFja2luZyA%3D
Thank you, good question. My general rule is about 65% of the weight goes at the back and 35% at the front. It’s different for everyone depending on riding position and weight distribution. I personally thing you can overdo it at the front sometimes which causes a bit of wobble.

Thanks very much! Thanks for the kind words
I don't think words can truly describe the scenery, another great video😊😊
Thank you so much!

To cycle more Scottish isles - now that is also a worthwhile project - well done and many thanks (brought back some memories)
Here here! Many more where they came from! Cheers
Now that was a beautifully filmed video.
Cheers Kevin! Really appreciate it :)

Nice! You’re ahead of me in this regard! It’s worth a trip up again for sure
Stunning scenery. Love the drone shots.

Ahh sorry i don’t remember seeing you but I was probably in a rush to the ferry 😂 I like the old school look of my socks tbf
Thanks once again for this piece of quietness. Absolutely fantastic!
Thank you :) it’s nice to get away from it all sometimes

That’s cool! Yeah completely agree. I rode the a82 mid 2020 and it was super quiet, but that filled me with false hopes
Ah Lockdown the most wonderful time to be cycling any busy road 🤣🤣🤣

Thank you! Yeah I saw a lot of the marker signs for that actually. Is it worth signing up for?
@@Cycling366 yes, it sure was.

Cheers Gordon! The camera work hides some of the cars for sure 😂 thanks for the tip
Wonderful. On my list of trips to do next year.
Thanks Hugh, definitely worth making time for if you can
Great video, well done !!
Thank you very much!
That was very special.
Thank you!
Great film as always... How you finding the Quoc shoes?
Thanks Marc, love em! I prefer these laced ones to the boa ones I have been using for a while
Belting video stunningly beautiful areas ! Can you tell me why you always set up your camp wearing your helmet ?😂😂
Haha...health and safety?!
Cheers David! Haha it’s so light I forget it’s on 😝

Que dron usas😮
DJI Mavic 3
Great video. Question - how do you balance the weight on your bike? I’ve had some real issues- probably of over packing but be good for any advice?

PG tips, did you run out of Yorkshire tea? 😊
I’m running pretty low actually 😝 but no just nicked these from a premier inn and that’s all they had!
What month was this trip please?
strava.app.link/3R7mPGJZOLb - about a week ago
Pg tips??? Raise your game lad to Yorkshire tea😂😂
Busted! I normally drink Yorkshire Tea, but I nicked these from a hotel 😝
Where’s the broken road video😢?
I was waiting for your ride review as to buy one or not. As Sonder hasn’t really advertised it well.
It’s still being built! Waiting for parts to arrive I’m afraid!
@@Cycling366 thanks dude! Can’t Wait!
