Marketing is about constant exposure. When you see a McDonalds TV ad, you don't run out to eat McDs. Its the repeated exposure that subconsciously motivates you to choose McDonalds over Burger King because you're more familiar with it, etc

And most importantly competition McDonalds, Burger King, ect will always have ppl go and eat there, but its a matter of who you see first. So put out the biggest and best ads, sales, ppl will come. Stans product isn't a necessity, it doesn't really have a quick superficial value, its not super available/cheap, and there's a lot of cooler competition.
