- Thanks to my friend, Trish, I was able to pack a super cute Trolls themed shoebox. Poppy is the star of the show 💫 💖! I love the colors inside and outside of this box - a lot of pink, aqua, and other bright colors 🩷 🩵 💚
I love this ministry of faith, hope, and love. Wow, this box turned out great! So cute! Ahh, yes, Poppy came from Walgreens after Christmas clearance. That was a good Walgreens for clearance, but unfortunately I can’t remember exactly which one it was, 🤔 just that it was somewhere close to downtown STL 😂. Hmm, the sunglasses may be from me, L O L, bc I had several of them. Honestly, I don’t recall for certain.. I really like her outfit. The trolls shirt is super cute and I adore those tiered ruffle skorts from WM. I don’t see them too much anymore. Oh geez, I totally forgot about that backpack. That was purchased at DG on clearance a million years ago and sat in my stash forever unused. I am happy that it will finally find its way to a sweet little girl by traveling in your shoebox gift 🥰. Great box, Val! ❤

Love it! There are some great ideas there, I am almost done with my boxes for this year, and it’s not even collection week yet, and I am already thinking about next years boxes, and one of them will be a trolls themed box. However I have to focus on finishing what I have now before I even start with the round of shoe boxes. I was only going to do six boxes but then the number of boxes that I am doing kept going up, I kept picking up boxes at our church, will it went from six to twenty three. I really enjoy doing this and since this is the only way to get the gospel to those children through the shoe boxes and then going through the greatest Journey discipleship classes it’s well worth the time and money being put into it. Also I am now a volunteer on the prayer team for OCC. I live In the State of Washington.
Thanks for sharing your shoebox journey! That’s how I evolved in packing too. I think I started packing just two - then it grew to 6 - then 50. - then 100 - and this year, even more than that. My church used to have boxes available for people to take, but they do not anymore. Sometimes friends pick up boxes for me at their churches, but usually I buy a set of 50 from the Samaritan’s Purse website and use regular shoeboxes for the rest, which are donated to me by friends, family, and neighbors. Packing is truly an involved process isn’t it? But so worth it ❤️💚❤️

Oh how sweet that Trish donated the adorable Poppy stuffie. She really is one of the cutest Poppy plush I’ve seen. The skort is so fun and the shirt and bow will be so cute when she wears them. Those miss matched socks are very cool. I love the vibrant colors and if you do the math, 2.50 for 3 pairs of socks (if you buy 2 packs) is a great deal! Lovely, colorful box Val! Awesome that you packed so many boxes! So many children will be blessed with your gifts!
Yes! The Poppy plush couldn’t have been more perfect for my box 🩷 I love the Little Miss Matched socks. I actually love that they don’t match and that there is a pair and a spare- it will be cute and fun for the child to choose how to wear them.
