Actually using 2hands makes it less likely for injury and increases longevity, 2h is easier to hold weight and realese, you dont know wtf yer talking about
I enjoy singles bowling as well. Such exhilaration when you see people come back from a deficit or get really close in match play. That Belmo v. Haugen match was intense.
Maybe it's just me, but the term "sport" has changed so much that pretty much anything with a popular following is a sport. What makes bowling a sport, but billiards, food eating contests, or cup stacking not?
+Randomguynumber39291 Uh, physical endurance over 20+ games every round in tournaments, use of equipment and constant adjustments, overcoming pressure and make good shots? Just because the players doesn't run around doesn't mean it's not a sport. Stop being ignorant.
If anything, you're being ignorant. "Overcoming pressure and making good shots" can be applied to any competitive activity. What does equipment have to do with anything? Yes, bowling is difficult. But it's not like anybody has the technique and ability to eat 50 hot dogs in a short time. Or solve a Rubik's cube the fastest (and I'm not talking about the simple 3x3 ones). You're the one disregarding these other difficult competitions.
Jason Belmonte has pretty much sealed his spot in the hall of fame with this win and a second player if the year title with back to back major wins!! Congrats Jason Belmonte!!!! And thank you PBA for uploading the tela casts!!
I don't care about all the gossip that has been going around.... I loved this match play and this sealed my respect for Belmonte. This was one of my favorites to watch! It was so heavy even I felt the pressure.
Wolfman12395? O.o Wow!! i used to watch your videos all the time a few years back. I'm 16 now and that was about when i was 12 and I haven't heard of you since tho. In fact I haven't seen a lot of my old subscribed bowling uploads in a long time. Might know what happened?
ArsenalBowler I stopped uploading PBA telecasts mainly because other people upload it in HD now. I still upload Candlepin shows all the time though. :)
Jason Belmonte: 227 Ryan Ciminelli: 214 Jason Belmonte: 202 Tom Smallwood: 173 Jason Belmonte: 235 Michael Haugen Jr: 234 Jason Belmonte: 221 E.J. Tackett: 177 Belmonte Wins! + Back-to-back Masters!
I love the fact after belmo made the 3-4-6-7-9-10, The Ciminelli, except for the dad, did not clap at all. Lol the pure hate in the face in the mom and fiance is clear.
Before Tom Daugherty, Jason Belmonte, or Osku Palermaa, there was Mike Miller, the only difference is, Mike Miller shot a 300 on TV (1999, National Bowling Stadium Open) and Tom Daugherty bowled a 100 on TV (2011, TOC), but if it weren't for Mike Miller, there probably would be no Tom Daugherty or even no Jason Belmonte or Osku Palermaa on Tour, all 3 pf those players also won and their styles, much like Mike Miller's, are all proven to be effective enough to win titles (and majors at that)
Belmo shot 300 on tv too...and I've seen Mike Miller. he was thumbless but one handed and not 2 handed, so you can't say there probably would be Bellmo or Osku b/c the 2 handed style is very different (and obviously more effective considering the Mike Miller only won 3 titles)
I don't know but even if you can't bowl like him, you can still wear the same awesome jersey as he does, they're all available through the good folks at High 5 Gear (dot) com. High 5 Gear makes all the jerseys the PBA players wear on TV and Tournament proper, and you can probably get one similar or even custom to look exactly like the same one he's wearing here.
to give themselves a little more time to calm down and collect themselves. it also keeps the other guy sat down for a bit longer, giving them more time to think about it, possibly making them over think and mess up
Belmonte vs. Ciminelli. Possibly one of the best PBA matches I've ever seen. 3 split conversions in a row in the matchup, starting at 18:20!
Hey Pinball Guy! I love your channel!
I appreciate how Belmonte is such a good sport to bowlers that don't have as much experience as him. :)
This dude will end up being the greatest bowler ever
ive said that since day 1, now look at him, he has 4 major wins already
Funaki .Chidori He won the 2015 USBC Masters as well. Crazy.
When he's 50 he will have a bad back and probably will not be able to bowl because of his style
Actually using 2hands makes it less likely for injury and increases longevity, 2h is easier to hold weight and realese, you dont know wtf yer talking about
+stillrob420 actually when you two hand you are putting a lot more torque on your back. Belmonte has actually had back problems before
I'm quite shocked that the PBA itself released this so soon on RUclips.
Bowling is the most enjoyable sport to watch. Its a shame its not on TV more. I should say, one on one bowling that is, not team bowling.
I enjoy singles bowling as well. Such exhilaration when you see people come back from a deficit or get really close in match play. That Belmo v. Haugen match was intense.
They have it on t,v,,,, they just don't air it in CANADA unless you get espn or if you're watching sports centre at the right time

Wow! 3 very tough splits were picked up: 2 by Belmonte and 1 by Ciminelli. Fantastic! 👏👏👏
Jason Belmonte has pretty much sealed his spot in the hall of fame with this win and a second player if the year title with back to back major wins!! Congrats Jason Belmonte!!!!
And thank you PBA for uploading the tela casts!!
After all these years, looking back at it, probably my most favourite finals is this one.
Not going to lie, I watch this video for inspiration very often...
"Kinda strange when you mention straight and jason belmonte in the same sentance." He tried to save it but it still came out wrong. 😂
18:26 and 19:54 incredible back to back split conversions by Jason Belmonte!
Cheers PBA, and well done Belmo!! You rock fella!! :)
Out of all his major wins I think this one might be his most impressive
"Hammer Tough Spare Replay" Little did they know Belmo was going to convert the 3-4-6-7-9-10 the next frame lol. That was amazing.
Man when that pixel hit that other pixel! It was so cool!
This was one of the best runs I've ever watched!
there is nothing better watching the bowling finals!
I don't care about all the gossip that has been going around.... I loved this match play and this sealed my respect for Belmonte. This was one of my favorites to watch! It was so heavy even I felt the pressure.
3 split conventer in the 1st gamt this is amazing! Split conventer is harder than strikes!
Thank you so much for the upload! Way to gring it out Jason!
Will look forward to seeing Tackett in the future! :)
yep
The guy is a beast on the lanes. Super consistent
I love how these espn commentators know whats going through these guys heads, simply amazing. ..
Belmonte is a force to be reckoned with...seriously. Besides the whole bottle incident (LOL), he's classy and keeps his cool.
We agree with your comment Dan. It is such a great sport. It does not get the recognition it deserves.
19:13, hmm, OK, interesting... my language is usually a lot more colorful and couldn't be aired on national TV when that happens to me lol.
instant classic. this stepladder is like a microcosm of belmo's physical game and laneplay.
THE LAST FRAME WAS AMAZING 🎳🎳🎳🎳🎳🎳🎳🎳🎳🎳🎳🎳
Well belmo has won back to back player of the year.
ONE OF THE BEST SHOTS EVER AT 19:55!!!!!!!
i can make any kind of split except for the 7-10
Wolfman12395? O.o Wow!! i used to watch your videos all the time a few years back. I'm 16 now and that was about when i was 12 and I haven't heard of you since tho. In fact I haven't seen a lot of my old subscribed bowling uploads in a long time. Might know what happened?
Rashawn Antoinio you are a dumb loser
yea... the one at 19:55 is a really easy spare if you hit the 3 pin at the right angle, same thing for mostly every spare.
ArsenalBowler
I stopped uploading PBA telecasts mainly because other people upload it in HD now. I still upload Candlepin shows all the time though. :)
Some amazing spares here. Wow.
Officially at 1m views...well deserved
I'm super happy to see it because i just forget to record it on TSN :p
Jason Belmonte and E.J. Tackett have bowled some exciting matches
Andrew Phillips how many times have they bowled each other?
Didnt know Mike Jakubowski did PBA events. So weird not seeing him announce Marquette basketball games.
Thanks for the upload!
Belmonte and Ciminelli both making some crazy split shots starts here 19:27.
As a bowler I never care about the color of a bowling ball but dang, Ciminelli's ball looks so pretty going down that lane
Congrats! Belmonte, you earned it!
***** and your comment is not that smart ...
Everyone's form is different! It don't matter what style/form the bowler has, they all have the same goal and that's to knock down 10 pins!!
i like the sound of mike's voice on the mic
Dang! He won as the last seed!
man jason belmonte is greatest two handed ever
I'm watching this in prep for the USBC coming to Green Bay! Can't wait!
Yes he DID
They both look so different
i used to be a hammer guy until i decided to try a storm ball i bought the hy road solid and pearl my average went up 30 pins i love storm balls!
Belmonte is the beast ! Congratulation (Y)
belmo has been on fire for quite awhile now.
Jason Belmonte: 227
Ryan Ciminelli: 214
Jason Belmonte: 202
Tom Smallwood: 173
Jason Belmonte: 235
Michael Haugen Jr: 234
Jason Belmonte: 221
E.J. Tackett: 177
Belmonte Wins! + Back-to-back Masters!
anyone know the song @ 1:13:31
xq en venezuela no pasan esta transmicion ya q hay muchos seguidores del bowling
Thats stressful bowling on tv which makes it more tiring than bowling 8 game blocks a day for qualifying
Watching this in 2017
Sick!!! @19:50
Great spectacle and awesome sportsman ship :)
i think its amazin how that lil 130 pound runt ej tackett is able to put so much power and spin on the ball. i dont know how he does it.
Win more, Belmo!
***** What's the matter, are you jealous?
*****
ray ur js jealous cause ej did not win
I love that it looks like he apologized to Tackett after that lucky strike in the 9th...
Honestly, if you guys want to put these up on the internet, at least make it 1080p
Of course he won again
2hand wonder from down under
4th major title
What's so different from the 5th and 4th seeds in this case, they both start the show so why does it matter if you're the 5th or 4th seed?
because you could run the stepladder
As the higher seed, you can choose who starts the match and you can choose what lane you want to finish on. Still matters
peter khor what a waste of the reply!
55:10 to all the young players out there, don’t get too cocky when you play against Belmo
Amazing 😍
I met Jason Belmonte in Vegas
haugen came out talking all that shit and got belmo fired up. smashed his ass. watching haugen made me adjust my eyebrows every few minutes.
Wow just wow! 37:20 what in the world tom?.
Why only 360P?
Also, Ciminelli did not "slap the 10" in his second shot, he is a lefty....he slapped the 7. Why the hell is Mike J allowed to commentate?
I love the fact after belmo made the 3-4-6-7-9-10, The Ciminelli, except for the dad, did not clap at all. Lol the pure hate in the face in the mom and fiance is clear.
Two finger bowler rule. Haters changing the balance hole rule to slow Jason down this year, just because they can't beat him. That's just a shame.
A little late, but all my balls have no weight hole and two fingers, and it hasn’t affected me too much.
Before Tom Daugherty, Jason Belmonte, or Osku Palermaa, there was Mike Miller, the only difference is, Mike Miller shot a 300 on TV (1999, National Bowling Stadium Open) and Tom Daugherty bowled a 100 on TV (2011, TOC), but if it weren't for Mike Miller, there probably would be no Tom Daugherty or even no Jason Belmonte or Osku Palermaa on Tour, all 3 pf those players also won and their styles, much like Mike Miller's, are all proven to be effective enough to win titles (and majors at that)
There were no thumbers before Mike Miller that were successful I believe, it's been around a very long time.
سكس عراقي
طالب الكناني二崩ㄊ志
Belmonte has been bowling with 2 hands since he was 18 months old and he never switched to one
Belmonte gets applause
Ciminelli no applause
It is because everyone has a crush on belmonte
Ej nd Jason look so young lol
Johnny P. mentions Belmo and 11 Majors. Now he has 11 majors
정말멋있아요..!
Jason Belmonte does bowl amazingly well in the USBC Masters
Its awesome that belmo was a lower seed so we can watch him bowl more. 😁😁
Is there any reason why they don't show the weight of the balls being used?
dude, perfect!
Belmonte is good!
What an awesome player Belmonte is. Wonder how much he gets paid to wear that shirt :)
I hope he gets paid and it was provided too because those PBA shirts retail for around 90 bucks... and that's on the cheap end!
why was belmo using roto rip
Littlemailman Toto grip and storm are cooperating companies
Littlemailman roto
I watched the whole thing
1:27:43 WTF??
Yes he wonnn
Belmo is just very lucky
You gotta be lucky to win 5 majors in 2.5 years lok
close fight against michael haugen jr. :D nice video. cheers belmonte
the jimi hendrix of bowling !!!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS!!! JASON BELMONTE IS THE CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Shane Warne of bowling... wait... Shane Warne is a bowler too. I'm confused.
Start of the year I averaged a 187 and now dropped to a 162 because of about 3 bad games!
@ 18:24 and 19:53 the jason belmote show
The bald guy in the audience is Scott the engineer from Howard stern show
why do they ask for reracks?
to kinda ice the other player. They're allowed two a game.
to give themselves a little more time to calm down and collect themselves. it also keeps the other guy sat down for a bit longer, giving them more time to think about it, possibly making them over think and mess up
Sheila Marie Also if the rack looks off with pins out of spot they will take one cause it will jeopardize their chances of striking
That away. Jason
He's got smallwood but big balls. hehe
Tristan Piper Lmao
Jesper vs Jason make it happen!!!
Howard Hammond Exactly that's my dream match up💯🤗🤗
1:12:27 roth looks heaps pissed that the aussie won! haha!
5th major title
Woooooo he won woooooooo
Serial Killer @ 10:32
Oh Randy There Is Someone That Can Rival His Power Osku Palermaa
But Osku isn't nearly as good as Belmonte
I Have One More Candidate Robert Smith
