I love the original Chucks and the Chuck 2. Both are very nice shoes. I have a red pair of the original Chucks ive worn for like 3 years now and they are still going strong and looking good. They are super light, awesome for walking, running and weight lifting while wearing. The non slip tongue in the Chuck 2's are definitely great.

man i love everything about the new chuck except for the lack of the black line on the sole. removing that is like removing the 3 stripoes from adidas
Lazy Sod It's great isn't it? I guess we can't have it all though. Maybe they'll listen to the fan base and bring the black line back in at some point.

actually chuck taylor space explorers kinda looked like chucks 2 but with black line on the sole
I miss that black stripe. they don't look right. the lack of stripe on the low tops look a bit better

Use a sharpie. Simple
A sharpie on rubber will yellow the rubber and fade when worn. Not a realistic approach.

I bought these shoes when they came out and thought they were really good. They're really comfortable and definitely were better then the original Chuck Taylor's. Yes not having the lines on the lowers was a stupid change on Nikes part. BUT WOW what an improvement over the originals. If only Nike had updated these shoes to have the lines on the lowers I think they would've been okay. The Chuck Taylor Street Hightops are what I wear now. Still not as comfortable as these are but better then the regular Chuck Taylor's.

This converse are a lot more comfortable than the regular ones, aren't they? But how they compare to the 70's reissue (Chuck 70)?
+tomoya97 I'm not able to do that comparison since I've never owned the 70's reissue. What I do know is that the lunarlon insole in the Chuck 2 makes the shoe very comfortable. I've used it an an amusement park for an entire day and my feet were fine at the end of the night. My only gripe is that the highs take a bit to get off and on.

Sizing description is correct. I'm a sz 8 in Vans, sz 7 in the OG chucks and sz 7.5 in the Chuck 2, perfect fit.
Very comfotable shoe but they're a little bit narrow, so if you have really wide feet you might want to stick with your OG Chuck size.
Every fucking person on the internet has a different opinion on the sizing . Frustrating

I use to like Pf Flyers and now I hate them. Under the sole it has two hard lines sticking out that will hurt your heels. Iam now 100% converse fan again. Converse under sole it flat and have better insoles.
Los compre hace 1 semana estan 80% mejorados y son mas comodos bastante mas comodos , pero lo que no me gusta es que abajo del sello en la pisada la tela se dobla con tu peso del cuerpo y el sello de converse se dobla un poco y eso le quita estetica al zapato desde mi punto de vista y se le crea un dobles de tanto estartelos poniendo porque te entran apretados, pero bueno es tela y asi son los converse
Good looks on the sizing tip. I usually went down a full size, but now I will only go down a half. I think they updated a classic perfectly. Can't wait to see how that new upper is in hand. Great vid and pickup!

That's weird. I wear 11 original chucks. I had to go half a size up 11.5 for the converse #2.

Whats about size? I can't find these in real stores near my place so I'll have to order them online. I've had 36.5 (EU) Chuck 1's but what would it be in Chuck 2's? Considering they're much thicker.

This video is a few years old now but I believe they’re still producing the Chuck 2. It will have a green Lunarlon insole and no line wrapping around the midsole. Go a half size down from your normal shoe size.

Excellent! I would suggest experimenting with a white sock and then rolled down like a collar over the calf to match the side sole.

Well, there's rumour Converse/Nike will stop producing Chucks 2 and focus more on the classic and the 70's.
I think it's a good decision. Chucks 2 miss the chuck taylor aura. The 70's is awesome, love them
Anton Chigurh how the chuck 2 is the true successor to the classic chucks .with the 70s it looks off it’s not like the chuck 2 was going to replace the classic chucks it’s just a opinion for pple who want more cushioning it’s a sequel an they have the look an feel of the chuck Taylor . The sizing on these end in CM but I’m not sure if pairs of Converse that extend to lows are also the same.

i've had a problem with the trim coming away from the sole on the highs. seems to be a common problem with these and i'm on my second pair in a year and its happened again. They havent lasted 6 months and i'm not much of a walker. looks like they know about it as there's been a dramatic drop in price . given up and going to try the 70's

Big mistake to mess with the stripes. Should have kept the same look. After a year on the market, Nike considers these shoes to be a big disappointment.
I got these a couple of months ago. I feel the materials are better than before but I don't feel them as comfortable as everybody says, the ankle it's hard and thick, do they become a bit softer after some time?
Eilidh Traynor thin padding at the ankle. You might have to keep the shoes a bit loose on the laces for comfort or go with the low top. I like the insole in them. I wore them a few times all day at Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm and feet weren't bad.
Not 100% accurate about sizing them down.I wear 9.5 tts,and had to go up to 10,bcz my fingers were being squeezed by the toecap.

Depends what you're looking for comfort wise. My go to is the Roshe but the Chuck is a classic. I love these things and they're very comfortable while still showing style. I'm not an adidas guy.

The black/white cw is so clean. When it comes to chicks, I prefer the highs more than the lows.
I usually rock lows but the patch is clean and I wanted to represent.

Well my true size is a sz 10 in footwear but with the Chuck 2 I went a half size down. So a sz 9.5 fit perfect for me. You probably want to go a sz 10.5 if you typically wear a sz 11.
