I'm so glad rachet and clank is still going but yeah it sucks we haven't gotten new games in those franchises for a while. Reminds me of what Sam Fischer said when Snake retired in that Ghost recon game

Sly is also modeled after Sly 3 (though he has two red straps around his legs, whereas in Sly it's only one to hold his pouch); not shown in this video is Bentley, again from Sly 3.

Jak wasn't really remodeled, he looked made of carboard. They kept the model he had in his games with Rift Apart's shaders, it was really off. so as much as it hurts me to say this, I doubt Jak and Daxter will be making a return.
Tbh Sackboys big adventure only came out a few months ago so it’s not like the series was dead. Whereas I think it was great to see Jak and Daxter who haven’t had a game in 15 years.

i LOVE when ps1/ps2 legends big up other playstation legends.... some of my favorite easter eggs always deal with mentions, or references to the older games that came before... like uncharted with the precursor orb from jak and daxter, or ghost of tsushima having the sly cooper get up as a armor/weapon thing... always makes me smile

Brilliant videos and the Phurba that's from unchartered 2 at 4:26. Is used in the movie called the shadow. Also you forgot about when you collect 2 gold bolts you can change the bolts you collect into cans from sunset overdrive and coins rubes and orbs.
I actually choked up a little when I saw Jak in this for the first time, it was like looking at an old friend who had passed away. Jak and Daxter is probably never coming back and honestly it makes me sad, it reminds me that my childhood is long over, but I'm happy to see his face once more after so long.
Honestly surprised that I was able to recognize the Jeep at 4:00 immediately. Kudos to Naughty Dog on making such a fun and memorable experience with such a mundane vehicle. Thanks for the awesome video Guru!
