One secret weapon used during the defense of Antwerp was the Radio Proximity fuse (VT)

Yes, the Radio Proximity fuse was indeed one of the most original and effective military developments in World War II. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proximity_fuze

Only 2 years after the War and they completely gloss over the Belgian SS volunteers in the name of future peace and reconciliation.
Valiant effort by all in the Antwerp area who worked and fought to bring the War in the west to an end and freedom from oppression.

Interesting and informative. Excellent photography job making it easier for viewers to better understand what the orator was describing. Class A research project!!! Special thanks to the anti air craft crews/radar crews whom to the best of their abilities. Cut ✂ down the amount of V-1 rockets from exploding on a target.

Yeh, the Belgians were fine people - never mind that they killed 2 million Blacks in the Belgian Congo ...

That was Leopold's dirty personal operation. The man was scum of the earth.

The king did. It's like saying Hitler wasn't that bad because he progressed science. Idiot. Guess what, Belgium never had any slavery history. King Leopold did.

Wrong. "Congo" was private property of Leopold Von Saxen Coburg Gotha, the son of a German immigrant in Belgium, who married a French princess. he got "Congo" on the Conference of Berlin, 1884. Belgian government, nor parliament were involved. He called his private dominion "Congo Freestate". ... in 1909, he was forced to give it to Belgium, due to the atrocities of his private army, the "Force Publique". It remained a colony till 1960, 51 years later. This lesson in history was for free, Pierre.
