I went on a solo trip to Puerto Rico and I enjoyed myself so much! I went to Luquillo on a Saturday rented an umbrella and sat next to a family who shared their food and drinks with me! They were so kind and I made new friends. On Sunday I drove la ruta del lechon, had no idea I would be on top of the mountain it was AMAZING! My friend lives on the island and we met at Escambron beach and caught up. I WILL be back. The people are so nice, the food is delicious and the vibe is GREAT
100% for sure. If you ask for trouble you’re going to find it. Isn’t it like that wherever you go? One thing about us Puerto Ricans we can be the best the nicest the most down to earth people and the most loyal but cross us wrong and ask for trouble that you will see us flip in a heart beat. So you come to Puerto Rico with good intentions and we will welcome you home and definitely will enjoy a good time. Very beautiful and peaceful.
Best places to visit in Loiza, Paseo del Atlantico located in Parcelas Suarez and also Puente Herrera for beach and river view these are beutiful beaches, less crowded and calm waves great place to take memories pictures, I'm Loiza native. Thanks for visiting out town!
Facts it's crazy how very little outsiders go to the beaches there ....I'm not complaining though I've going to the beaches and literally it's just u and a hand full of people
I went to two weeks ago and stayed there for a week. My family is from there and let me say that it is awesome. El Balneario and the Kioskos are awesome.
I don't know how long you're staying in PR but if you want something cultural, you should try to find some bomba dancing. Loiza is the best place for it.
Im from this beautiful island P.R. has a lot to offer for locals & tourists. Luquillo is one of my favorite beaches the food is great .Luquillo is my neighbor town is next to Rio Grande were the rain forest El Yunque is at. Rio Grande not only has el Yunque rain forest but has golf course as well as hotels restaurants and much more. . Loiza town next to Rio Grande . At Pińones beach the sunset is stunning!!! Great food as well.God bless P.R.🇵🇷♥️🇵🇷
You should visit Rio piedras the locals need a little love also . They can really use some advertisement I always go there when I visit Puerto Rico going back in August can't wait!
Puerto Rican women have won 5 Miss universe pageants for a country just a little over 3million population. There's a difference among other Latin countries we are not dom or cuban. When our families migrated to the states we had to plant the Puerto Rican flag and it was not easy for families to overcome racism early on, so we are not the same like other carib Latin people who came after us. We're a small nation with lots of pride but we have earned it. And my father is a purple heart recipient and he earned that.
Sly dude bro! 🤣🤣 I loved this one also even when you ran out of gas at the end…and I know you were just walking but you ran out of gas bro 🤣 Also I think it’s totally cool that you speak Spanish pretty well bro great job 🤙🏽🤙🏽
Like your videos especially your interviews with the locals and tourists. Try to go to the the SANSE yearly festival in Old San Juan. It was canceled the past few years because of covid. It usually schedules around mid January. There you will experience a true cultural explosion of music , food, dancing . That lasts a whole week.
You should go at night around 10.. you will see the motorcycle club! 🏍 guy and girl ride up and down the strip doing wheelie going fast.. most of the motorcycle are custom hayabusa.
Hi, it's not called mangu in Puerto Rico it's called Mofongo, and the way its prepared in Dominican Republic is the plantains are boiled and then mashed giving it a smoother consistency like mashed potatoes in Puerto Rico the plantains are fried like you would tostones and then mashing them, making it a crispier but both mangu and mofongo are delicious.
Was sup bro . I like what you doing and the content you’re putting out for the Puerto Rican culture. I have a private charter picking up my wife and I tomorrow at 9 a.m. if you down to come through and show more beautiful content about Puerto Rico comment back. The charter boat is going out to 3 islands further out. Looking forward to hear from you god bless.
I like the fact that our real flag color is in your video. It's the Puerto Rico flag but with the baby blue diamond with the star in the middle and not the navy blue. Navy blue is the Americanized version.
Avoid hanging out at night 😎🇵🇷 Specially Bayamon and San Juan Do what ever you want to do in the day time and don't stare 🧐 at people specially in or around gas ⛽ station
That is the street food. We make a variety of soups, rice combinations, diferent way of making meat, boiled kindo of roots, fish, seafoods in many ways, stews, many things.
It's a very nice place. I was just there in luquillo kiosks. Did a video I'll we be posting up soon. Very nice place to visit. I will be returning God willing.
My friend we don't say "Moro" for rice and beans in P.R....We say "arroz con habichuelas". However, You can specify the type of bean it is. Ex: Dominicans say 🇩🇴 "Moro de gandules" We Puerto Ricans say 🇵🇷 "Arroz con gandules"
Sly u as a outsider among Latinos... In your opinion, what's the similarities and differences between Dominicans and Puerto Ricans? ...we are similar and many outsiders don't notice diference
Not speaking for Sly here, but I've lived 11 yrs in PR and 5 yrs in DR. I'm from the States. There is a SIGNIFICANT difference between Dominicans and Boricuas. And nothing offensive; just outright cultural and societal differences
Yea we have many differences, but many are very subtle, many nonLatinos and even some Latinos that aren't Caribbean don't pick up on it, one of the main obvious difference that many do see tho is that even tho both Boricuas and Dominicans are majority mixed race of the same thing Spanish African Taino, Los Bori have more Spanish on average and are usually lighter while Dominicans usually darker, but still that's not everybody there many dark Ricans and light Dominican.... But Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, and Cubans we have more in common with each other than with other groups
@@imdominican..blacksworship892 I'll pick at some of the subtle differences.. they're more fun to spot lol. Trying to keep this from becoming an essay haha. Example would be a part of the social constructs where if you walk down the street of any sector in DR people will typically make and hold eye contact and acknowledge you through a smile or say "saludos...buenas"..etc. In contrast, in PR if you're walking down the street you will rarely get eye contact with a stranger and rarely will that person speak to you without reason. Flipping the script however, in PR, Boricuas of all ages (kids, teens, and adults) will tell you "buen provecho" any time they see someone having a meal or a coffee, for example. It's refreshing. In DR, it's not common at all for people to enter a restaurant or pass you by and tell you "buen provecho" unless they know you; it's normally just the server bringing you the food or coffee. These are subtle things that you don't pay attention to, but exist.. I still commute weekly between both territories. Live and work in both. Want more examples?? Does anyone disagree??? lol
I thank God every day, it was the USA who won Puerto Rico and not the other communist countries...I am beyond greatful to God for the blessing of his merciful love. I could easily would have been born in Cuba, China , Russia or Venezuela, but God grant me the mercy to be born in the most beautiful Island, protected under the mighty wings of the USA...free to come and go , where others risk their lives wishing to live... boricuas needs to wake up and count our blessings.
Did you get questioned about your citizenship at the airport to come home? I really would like to travel with my husband who’s an immigrant and myself who does not have a passport. Only God knows what can happen but wherever my husband is at that’s where I am at.

Exactly . Just don’t go in the hood looking for drugs and start taking pictures because you can end up being lunch meat!
Pinones was my fave spot to go in PR. Cheap food, good drinks and the relaxing breeze by the water

Yep! I prefer mofongo more cause it's crispier. Both delicious tho 😋
So mofongo is NOT mangú no matter what you call it. Both are prepared differently, so they're different dishes.
