North East Cod fishing | Sea Fishing UK

An excellent start to the winter Cod fishing here on the North East coast.
The conditions were looking good for a beach fishing trip so I headed out in search of my first Cod of the year. It was slow going during day light but not long after dark I managed to catch my personal best cod from the shore.
Hopefully there is more to come through out the winter as I head out and try more cod fishing from different shore marks along the north east coast.
