    I like the fact you dispatched the injured one, mackerel usually don't make it after being handled anyway, we usually take 4 or 5 but some people take 20-30 plus which is far to many and they won't get eaten, such a waste and ruins it for everyone else!!!

    • @Adam_Outdoors
      @Adam_Outdoors Год назад

      That's a complete myth regarding them dying after being handled. Studies and tsts have been done and proved it wrong.

    • @fishingintheukgarywood

      The beach is fine to fish at low water but i think it will be to shallow at the fist gate because of the rocks at the base of the pier.

    • @fishingintheukgarywood
      @fishingintheukgarywood  4 года назад

      No problem Steve, the first part of south shileds pier fishes well a couple of hours before and after high water just after the brigade hut upto the first gate and is close to the carpark. The walkway has been fishing well for herring at last light park at the side of the yacht club and its just round the corner. Milldam opposite the customs House fishes well for flattys at night you can park close to the water. Hebburn Riverside near the boat club is canny fishing from the corner between the boats and just along from there is the second carpark where you can fish out of your car a couple of hours before and after high water. Pans Bank in Sunderland is canny because you can park right near the water and fish out of your car. If I think of anymore places I'll let you know.
