Another thank you for uploading the 2nd part of this interview. I have much admiration for Jose's ability to converse in so many different languages. :-D
I have the 94 concert on DVD, and let me tell you, these three are not Three Tenors, but Three Stooges. They just LOVE fooling around. That part where Luciano takes the baton from Zubin and passes it to Jose and then makes it passed to Placido made me roll on the floor laughing. They are truly great friends. And the Three GREAT Tenors.
These are excerpts from a concert at the Royal Albert Hall, London, on March 15, 1994. The programme was called With a song in my heart - A tribute to Mario Lanza. It was commercially available on video, but has never been released on DVD as far as I know.
Carreras dice che è stato il film di Mario Lanza il Grande Caruso a farlo decidere di cantare l'opera.Gli fa onore ricordare e omaggiare Mario che è stato più sfortunato di lui ma certo non meno talentuoso!
These interviews with Maestro Carreras are certainly among the most enjoyable items on RUclips,,,Congratulations and many thanks for posting them.
