How to replace shocks with out a spring compressor

In this video I show how you can change your front shocks with out a spring compressor and change axles with out separating any ball joints, Its faster and easier this way compared to the traditional method.

Question I don't have the lift system you have. Do you think your method can be done using floor jacks or will I not have enough clearance to get the shock out ???"

I thought about that when I was doing it and I should have mentioned that in the video. Yes It can be done on the floor with a floor jack, you would have room to remove the shock as long as you have the heavier duty Floor stands that are taller than the typical light duty car floor stands. I would highly recommend only using the heavy duty stands with a pick up truck over the light duty car stands, they provide alot better stability than the lighter duty ones.

@@adaleparker1956 no problem at all, its my heart to share this kind of information that other technicians would not share as they have this belief that keeping your secrets will bring you more business, this is a lack poverty mentality.
