Just bought one of these, 2010 model as a run around for work. 55,000 miles and the engine, gearbox and clutch are crisp as. The engine still sounds like a sewing machine. And over 3,000 revs gets a little extra zing akin to a turbo which makes it great for overtaking. Plus 55mpg along country roads. Heaps of space inside, and being co-designed with Mercedes Smart, the seat travel is a boon for my 2m frame. I'm not even on the last notch. All in all, super impressed by it. It also has cruise control, all round electric windows, privacy glass, dual height boot floor, front fogs, alloys, a great little leather steering wheel, remote stereo controls on the wheel, and in white, the graphic black white exterior cuts a dash too. Really impressed with it.
thank you miss Rebecca for the very nice review!I have many good memories from the mitsubishi colt.My father had a 1988 colt and i loved that car.So im thinking my first car to be a mitsubishi. My father will laugh from up there...
I've just bought a 57 plate 1.5 diesel CZ2 today to replace the Micra K12 I had which got rear-ended by some jackass before Christmas. Picking it up in a couple of days and fairly excited. Brilliant example; former Motability car with only 30,000 miles on it. Chuffed to have found it.
just bought a second handmitsubishi colt cz1,absolutely love it,plenty of room, drives well...so I'm very impressed...looks very like a Honda jazz, but not as expensive
Hello im planning to buy 2010 colt also. 2nd hand also. Is it worth to buy? Or is the spare parts can easily be found if ever theres problem.about the car?
So have I, exactly the same 109k on the clock but drives beautifully, nippy, clean inside, carpets & seats pristine really, lacquer peel on the roof, but I don't care, jts fantastic, I love it almost as much as the 2O5's I've had, & the one off road on my drive for now, maybe will love him more soon, only had it 4 days.
In 2024 these are rock solid 1st cars. 1.1 3 cylinder my choice. Missed sliding rear seat. Had 1.1 and 1.3 . 1.1 does 55 mpg and is 75mph, plenty. Rebecca looking very hot in her youth
Its not as economical as a VW Polo Bluemotion? THE VOLKSWAGEN LIED. ITS AT THE CENTRE OF A EMISSIONS SCANDAL. Therefore, the Colt is more economical than the VW Polo Bluemotion.
Just been to look at a low milege one..very plain lot of room comfortable. Couldnt see bonnet when seat at its highest point. Salesman had to pont out the piece of plastic you can remove to make the boot about 3 inches deeper.... £4k for 19000 miles.
Mine just keeps on going. A 1.1l 3-door basic model that's a trip around the block off 100,000 miles. I'm keeping it until it dies because I can't believe that it's taken the punishment it has experienced, I can't believe I'll ever do better for the sort of money it set me back and I want to know how long it'll last.
Mine has 170 hp😋🤩 u should really chip the 150 Hp ralliart , i could get more but when the winter comes the car is hard to drive cause of 950 kg and 170 hp😂😂😂.
I own a 1.5 non turbo version, never had a problem with it. 110 bhp is more than enough in the city and the best thing is that it's a 6 speed automatic. I just love it.
Never seen one like this before with leather seats as sadly my CZ1 has the awful cloth seats which rip so easily and the ride quality is not good in my 3 door version but they are quick on a motorway will hit 120mph on a long stretch and make you lose your licence too lol
Just bought one its a 2008 with 109 k on clock, carpets 'and' seats pristine. so much so, I think I'm going to cover them although they are 16 years of age. It says on specs read in reviews, top speed 103 mph. I've only had him 4 days, but had him upto 119 mph, with plenty more left in him I think. It's brilliant:)
I've had one of these for 5 years, it's been reliable, no surprises on MOTs. I would love the car but it's let down by the awful seats, awful stereo and too much road noise at speeds over 40mph. I would whip the seats out and fit some other seats if it was possible.
She destroys the channel? How so? She's pretty, charismatic, is just as entertaining to watch as Mat, gives good opinions and reviews... I dont see how she "destroys" the channel
I know, and it's sad that thanks to that Mitsubishi doesnt do well here. mitsubishis are actually pretty reliable. Why do u think so many racing competitions use Mitsubishis? Maybe some Mitsubishis of the early 2000s had problems but thats when they were in a partnership with Chrysler which of course wasnt a good idea.
That's true. For most of them, there's nothing wrong exactly, but there's nothing that makes you go "Wow". They're all so plain. Kia and Hyundai have really stepped up their game, though, so we're getting closer to a properly beautiful hatchback; if it ever happens.
it lookd great in sky blue and black the car is okay to drive and gives you a lot of space...good car but in terms of driving a fiesta is a better car...just from my experience
1. not crap 2. This > Yaris/Honda 2.1. better looking as well 3. comfortable 4. VERY spacious If I had the choice I would have gotten this instead of the shitty yaris
Reasonably do just changed it from a zbrrlongo, a fiver a month cheaper, like £26 a mo th. I a. 53 though, with maximum no claims discount..less than £300 if paid annually.
Why on earth is she comparing it to a VW polo LOL thats literally the worst car VW makes along with the VW Fox , Mitsubishi is way faster even the 1.1 does 60mph in 11 seconds and 115mph top speed , the 1.5 turbo is crazy fast 7.5 to 60 and 138mph top speed, anyway im happy with mine i paid £600 for it and it gets 50 miles per £5 of petrol and is nippy too
well it's for sure better than Poland,Serbia,Romania...still if you don't believe search here on youtube autoblogger...they are from Holland...if you go to their videos you can see...how i said it's very difficult to see a good car produced in Germany,Holland,France,Italy,Spain...because they cost a lot...instead in Serbia /Romania they can make 5 cars with the price of one produced in the countries i told you...
Do you work for Mitsubishi? I really dislike the looks of it. Mitsubishi seems to be obsessed with the looks of the new models of the Lancer. It suits the Lancer, but not the ASX, or the Outlander, or this. The styling just doesn't work for me. But hey, that's just my opinion.
Rebecca, I'll be honest, I'm getting a bit bored of the cars you're reviewing. If you have a 'racing car' then do a review of that please, these crappy, boring, middle-of-the-road cars are irritatingly mundane.

I'm 6'1" and also on the husky side. Test drove one of these cars today and was quite comfortable.

You said 55mpg. That’s impressive
I have a 62 plate one of these, absolutely love it. Only 46k on the clock was on 19 when I bought it 2 years ago

As a Colt CZT owner, I approve this video

Such an underrated car. I bloody love these things.
Wow a Ralliart/CZT review which doesn't totally slate it and recognizes the boot space potential.
Front passenger seat also folds down, allowing a 2m Christmas tree to be inserted completely inside.
thats not the ralliart model, thats the 1.3
It saddens me that they don't sell these in Canada. We get stuck with the Mitsubishi Mirage 😭.
The Colt Ralliart is a proper pocket rocket.

I love how in every carbuyer review of a Mitsubishi they say that Mitsus are known for reliability but here in the U.S. people say the opposite
maybe people from the U.S. are jealous of asians for making the most reliable cars. I as a european am also jealous of this.
i climbed into this car and really is so spacious. Good review.
she's gettin better with her reviews, more natural instead of sounding really scripted..good job Rebecca!
Agree, they should keep it to the EVO's, and maintain the triangular grill in front.

From wich year are the first generation Colts? I got a deal from a garage, that sells a 2007 Colt for only €2500 it does have 150k though.

The one thing I prefer about Rebecca over Matt is how she doesn't say the seats lie "ALMOST completely flat" like Matt does
awesome review. love rebecca. she has improved a lot and is now in matt's league. loving your work

0-62 in 7.4 seconds from the ralliart. That is pretty awesome
Will they have the Plus version? the back looks better...
That mean looking front doesn't match the car shape and back end.
Just put a deposit down on a colt. Its my first car too!
Colt model year?
question: is the Lancer Sport Sedan(not EVO) more reliable than a VW Jetta 2011??
Hmm do they sell Ramlösa water in the U.K?

Is it just me or did I just saw a carbuyer review of the Mercedes B-Class video on my subscription but was soon removed?
This is the car I am learning in!
looks pretty good il even buy one somday
Rebecca will you be reviewing premium brand cars such as BMW, Audi, Mercs, etc?
I totally agree, the old Colt is much more better looking
She should bring a matt sized doll or dummy around.I'm still not convinced whenever she does a seat space test.
Nice car, just avoid the semi-auto/auto if possible as not as economical as the manual.
That advice goes with any other car to be honest. Manual will always be more economical than automatics.
I have never heard Holland's reputation in production
If only Mitsubishi had a good lineup of cars here in the U.S. like they do in other countries it would probably sell better...
Nice car. Great review.
I quite liked the old Colt's "face". This new mean one doesn't suit it at all.
Yes they are
1. not crap
2. This > Yaris/Honda
2.1. better looking as well
3. comfortable
4. VERY spacious

Since I am swedish I love how Ramlösa is featured in this video!
I reckon that design shouldn't be used in cheap and small cars like this; makes them even cheaper looking.
