As a classically trained piano player I can say without any doubt that the piano riff in Once Upon A Time is one of the most beautiful piano lines in pop music. This album is a masterpiece.
My leg is broken and i am supposed to spend all my time in the walls of my house (for at least 3 weeks more). Biggest bummer in life till now. Somehow though, i feel nothing is wrong, and the world is still the strangest most beautiful place, while listening to this album. AIR, you are so very wonderful to listen to!

Now here's a group this septuagenarian can get behind. Their creativity suprises me at each turn. The melodious compositions are mixed extremely well ... each track is a perfect addition to the whole. The percussion nears perfection. Old farts learn something new all the time. I "discovered" Heart twenty years after they debuted. Now, I have a new "discovery." Thanks, Little Girl.
In this same line, you should listen to Fernandez 4 an Argentinian band that has released several LPs by now. The drummer is the grandson of Astor Piazzola. Greetings from one 70er to another!!
Oh my Gooood. I needed that. At the end of the album, I am so perfectly massaged between the ears, that I can feel the balance throughout my body. Your albums are like a peaceful remedy.
An underrated, subtle masterpiece (apart from maybe track 3.) Gorgeous music. But then, I think every Air album is pretty great...I've never really been disappointed in their output. Beautiful and at times unusual harmonies, some strange but easily inhabitable atmospheres - and creative sonic wizardry on every single one. Humour too. This might be one of my favourites now, however.
Jarvis' song is a bit hokey. I like the idea behind it and the blunt yet relatable lyrics. I mostly just wish he sung a bit better - he sounds very uncomfortably strained. Maybe that's the point but it doesn't sound pleasant during his higher and longer notes.
Track 3 is actually great, which air-listener had never have a hell of a party i.e. an exaggeration with substances ("drugs")? But the song after it brings the sun back. It´s a wonderful trip, with a necessary down (fortunately very short).
I think that people who don't like One Hell of a Party are people who maybe are not that into Pulp, because in this song you get the typical Jarvis Cocker's dramatic vocals. As a fan of Pulp, I love this song.
This reminds me of Plaid a little bit, really immersive. Air just gets better and better with age, although nothing will ever beat Moon Safari for me :)

They are not underrated. The real problem is that good tastes are in the minority. Most people have bad taste in music and currently only listen reggaeton.
In Jan 2018 the streaming free radio station SBS Chill, held its annual Chill 100 where listeners vote for their fav song. Air's All I Need, from the Moon Safari album came in at number 1 and, The Silver Lady (La Femme D'argent) came in at number 14. That's 20 years after Moon Safari's initial release... I'll still be listening to AIR through the next decade and beyond because, it's so chill.

. yo conocí a estos súper genios con la canción Cherry bloss And Girl . la tarde del viernes 12 de marzo del 2004 . desde entonces me volví su seguidor . Si acaso pronuncié mal una de las canciones de Air me corriges por favor . Es que soy invidente de nacimiento y estoy escribiendo con el motor de texto a voz de Google . Y pues claro, Air vendría siendo algo que se acerca a la Magia, para mi es como tocar el cielo, supongo que por eso el nombre de la banda.. jaja. Te recomiendo que escuches Kraftwerk, el disco 'The Mix' (1991) en Alemán sería lo ideal. Que tengas buen día.

Wow, that was super intense! Really lovely. You totally got me in the frame of mood. Yes, I could very much spend the rest of my life in a lazy, mid 70s stupor. There's no other way to go. And I love Air!!! They really capture and epitomize something special.
And I have ALWAYS regarded the first two weeks of June as the most perfect two weeks of the year. Wow. You and I are totally on the same wave length here! How nice is that?

I thought they stopped making albums like this in the 1970, it is a coherent end to end thought, great musicly.
I was completely captivated by the beautiful music. It's a masterpiece that also incorporates Japanese elements.

They are not underrated. The real problem is that good tastes are in the minority. Most people have bad taste in music and currently only listen reggaeton.

In Jan 2018 the streaming free radio station SBS Chill, held its annual Chill 100 where listeners vote for their fav song. Air's All I Need, from the Moon Safari album came in at number 1 and, The Silver Lady (La Femme D'argent) came in at number 14. That's 20 years after Moon Safari's initial release... I'll still be listening to AIR through the next decade and beyond because, it's so chill.
