      Its interesting the way the west perceive China without actually leaving their own countries. Try being gay in Indonesia or Malaysia, being part of India's caste status system, a female in the middle east or how about being a whistle-blower or black in the US.
      I've been lucky enough to travel through both China and the US multiple times, and tell you without a shadow of a doubt that I never once feared for my life or experienced any crime in China. The USA on the other hand just a wrong turn in LA or just the subway from Brooklyn to NY was dodgy as. But hey, they have their star spangled freedom while their ever growing poverty grows and everyone hates each other.

      I mean zero hate in this, but there is no irony at all. Its like hiring an expert hitman to protect you, he will know exactly what other hitmen would do to kill you and then take steps to prevent it.
      Many, many people in the cyber security industry started as actual hackers, both white and black hat.
      I had a really interesting talk with a member of my country cyber security taskforce at my college and he explained that the best way to get a job is to get on hacking forms and make a name for yourself. Someone will recognise your abilities and snap you up.

      Well it’s socialism to them.
      Socialism is a barely definable ideology but what North Korea has economically is what socialism is. Government control of the economy, it in many ways resembles the Soviet Union. Socialism doesn’t entail monarchist rule though.

    • @ignaciocampos8435
      @ignaciocampos8435 3 года назад +1

      Socialism and monarchy are not mutually exclusive, just like Capitalism and monarchy are not either. Plenty of Capitalist monarchies around the world. One is a form of rule (a republic, a kingdom, etc) the other is an economic system.

    • @samtorr3947
      @samtorr3947 3 года назад

      @@theadam7598 North Korea is very much Socialist in name only. Whilst their economic sytem matches the loosest of definitions of socialism, much like the USSR, it is nowhere near true socialism because the workers do not get their fair share.
      You could argue it is closer to a like neo-feaudalism because the whole system of wealth is arranged around social proximity to the 'King'/Dictator and there is little to no social mobility.
      Also, Socialism in definable, it is just less agreed on than capitalism, or other overarching economic systems, because so many different facets of socialist ideologies claim to be the true socialism. They all revolve around the idea of public ownership and a fair distribution of wealth amongst all. NK only fits half that definition and even then it is hardly public ownership, its literally just private ownership to the Kim family with extra steps.

    • @sudonim7552
      @sudonim7552 3 года назад +1

      Their system is not socialism, just like how their so called "Democratic People's Republic" isn't democratic, run by the people, or a republic. It's all just lies the monarchical leadership like to tell to keep their people in line.

    In the year 2020 these North Korean hackers tried to get into Kundankunal Nuclear power plant in Tamil Nadu, India. Internal report suggest that they were successful in doing so on the Administrative side i.e employee and staff related data but not on nuclear research stuff. There was hue and cry about it. That nuclear powerplant is the newest plant being built with Russian technology and is VVER type. More eyebrows were raised when a news article quoted that Thorium related development is being persued there.
