    Mind reading. Telepathy. The end of privacy. This one has it all, including the power of tech to save us…or rob us of the things we hold most dear.

      Look up gang stalking and ignore the crazy disinformation. You will find thousands, maybe millions of people who are dealing with the gov (or somebody really powerful) reading their minds already and without an implant. It’s done by satellite & it’s insane!!!

      Thank you, Emily, this was very well put together. Technology's double-edged nature must be acknowledged, but it also must be clear that its evolution is the only way forward. The only way we really have to prevail and prosper as humans. LIFE is fighting and sticking around!... "The things we most hold dear", and even the very definition of our human condition, or nature, also have evolved. Harnessing the full potential of the mind, and augmenting it, may be an inevitable cosmic imperative. The supposed price of letting govs and corps (and other people) access your mind is NOT inevitable. OSS, encryption, heck, even blockchain, and other existent technologies (and even some that are not ready, nor even invented, yet) can prevent us from continuing in this cyberpunk dystopia course we are already on. And we don’t even have to change drastically the current system (as broken as it is) … This kind of content help us reflect on this issues and contributes positively in nudging course towards a kinder future, so that is great. Cheers!

    they are ONLY interested in helping them selves gain tighter control over the rest of humanity. those funding these scientists and researchers are NOT decent human beings. they are among the most depraved.

    Mind hacking is the delicate dance between discovery and invasion, where the thrill of unlocking human potential meets the threat of manipulation. In this digital age, the mind becomes both a playground and a battleground-capable of transformation yet vulnerable to unseen forces. How we navigate this space will define the boundaries of our autonomy and humanity.

    Treating depression with extreme techniques like drilling holes in skulls or implanting chips might grab attention, but they miss the bigger picture. True healing starts with the basics: food, sleep, exercise, and inner work. These are the real medicines. Sure, medications and surgeries might offer short-term relief, but they’re Band-Aids on a deeper wound. If someone’s diet is junk, their sleep is chaotic, and they never move their body, no medical intervention will bring lasting results. You can’t fix a foundation with fancy tools alone-you need to rebuild it from the ground up. Focus on what truly sustains the body and soul.

    • @bobros1337
      @bobros1337 Месяц назад +37

      I agree to some degree BUT telling clinically depressed person that they should exercise and sleep better is just dumb. They can't do that, I used to have depression and nothing besides meds helped, I had a stay in hospital. It's not as easy as sleeping better, eating better, exercising. Sometimes you need medical help.

    • @QueenetBowie
      @QueenetBowie Месяц назад +19

      Kind of an over simplification. I know plenty of people with depression who live healthy lifestyles including sleeping well and diet and exercise, and they’re still in a very dark place. There are deeper issues at play for a lot of people. Those are helpful, but they’re also not a magic pill.

      That’s such a great project, tho I kinda dislike the technical circumstances. People should have "visiting museums" on their list of normal socio-cultural activities. And psychiatrists should orient patients towards all sorts of group activities (biking, dog walks, animal shelter building & maintaining, mountain trailing, etc etc) that are organized as natural convivial social activities, less as "therapy". But there are many sufferers of depression whose underlying bio physiological pathology requires advanced medical intervention. Sending them to the museum would be a slap on the face

    @19min..the book “The Secret Life of Plants”. According to these scientists we’ve been capable of reading minds since the 70s, I can’t even imagine what we are capable of now 50 years later.

    people can change, its complex, subtle, requires trying to understand them, something few seem ready to do, but as somebody with adhd and autism i have come a long way, at a huge cost, as i had to do it pretty much alone, take for instance how the universe is seamingly all predetermined, theirs truth to this but some "anomolies" are present, humans too are very complex predetermined systems but our concioussness can allow for us to bend the future, change the course to a now new predetermined future, chaos and order, structured chaos, theirs always more to it and the truth often lies somewhere in the middle

    HOW, just how can a supposedly helping "scientist" say that
    "people have failed to respond to medication"?
    I strongly believe that this way of speech shows a failure in words selection

    how about we don't do this until we have regulations on the business, have done the necessary paradigm shift in morality that is needed, are post-capitalism, and post-scarcity ....
    if we are going to do this now... we need to make sure corporations have no wiggle room for anything but saving lives.
    these are not fields for corporate profits.

      1) peas sized electroshock therapy .. not suer about the method, but if it works, great. let us be weary if they call the tech SOMA
      2) the electric stent ... i worry about removal / upkeep and keeping the compatibility to new technology
      3) the ekg for skipping music and also playback ... other than a mental mouse that's starting to push my limit. even mouse movement is used against you by marketers.
      if we can start translating thoughts we can start charging thought crimes, if we can play back thoughts, marketers can now poison people with even worse nostalgia. combine memory playback with deepfakes.... that memory of your kids first birthday will be sponsored by coca-cola.
      4) the facial controller , is just a new physical interface. that is col for people that may not have access to other controllers.
      he speaks truth to the emotional and psychological profiles that marketers, corporations, the government, AI models, have access too about us. the systems are so sophisticated that even null spaces provide them information. a person not on the internet still has a shadow identity from the dots of data that their loved ones leave on the internet.

    They should all do the research under one style of device so they can combine ideas with other companies in the future so we dont have to pick and choose which devices to pick, use neurolinks style devices they seem to work the best so far. I dont need a million devices in my brain to get all the different things they offer
