If I did my research right, the number of players older than 27 who have cost £60m or more from the last decade in order of most expensive: Griezmann, Hazard, Kane, Higuain, Suarez, Casemiro and Zlatan. And Bowen is nowhere close to the talent of these guys. If he flops, you are stuck with him. For that price, he has to be young or a world-class player. Plus, he has quite a bit of mileage on those bow (en) legs.

Johan Bakayoko, Rayan Aït-Nouri as Salah and Tsinkias replacements with someone who knows slot and in the last year of their contract Lutsharel Geertruida also would be a good move and you could get them all for the Salah sale. What big amount of money?? Liverpool have the 9th biggest net spend since Klopp came in and lost 9 players this summer with only 4 coming in, all bargains especially Endo. As it stands they will finish 3rd with a trophy. Now justify where MU and Chelsea will finish after what they spent?? Even Arsenal who spent £100 million on one player could end up with nothing this season.
