    Extremely under appreciated by so many Liverpool fans. A very humble footballer that sacrificed an awful lot to become the player he is today. Been a warrior for Liverpool ever since he broke into the first team, filling Stevies boots won’t be done but he’s doing and has done one hell of a job in doing it. I’m glad to call Jordan Henderson the captain of the club I’ve supported and grown up to love since I was kid. YNWA ❤

    The word “legend” is used often these days, but Henderson arguably deserves it. A fantastic leader on and off the pitch, an inspirational journey of a career, a winner, and one of our most important and influential players in the last decade. Look how much we’ve suffered during his dip in form this season. It’s understandable given his age but we don’t have anyone similar to him to come in the side. We have a hard job in trying to replace him. He’s the perfect midfielder for Klopp’s system in the 8 position

    • @SMC01ful
      @SMC01ful 8 месяцев назад

      No arguing, he's a club legend, full stop. One of the greats, and as time goes on I believe his reputation will grow. Folks forget Emlyn Hughes impact on the pitch for LFC wasn't fully appreciated by fans until we had a massive slump in the 90's. We looked back at our VHS collections of our glory years and recognised what a tough, versatile, intelligent player he was. Unfortunateky, it will take a spell of poor form for fans to re-evaluate and appreciate what Henderson has bought. I am lucky to say I appreciated him at the time.

There were times in the past I struggled to cheer for an England team filled with players I'd spend 38 weeks a year disliking, but when you look at the likes of Kane, Rashford, Henderson, I see a really likeable and decent bunch of people that I'm happy to cheer for

    Must admit my perception of Jordan has changed over time. What I noticed was how peoples comments would change. When he was there and playing so many people criticised him. But when he was injured and not playing just as many people said we missed him so much on the pitch. His injury problems did get on my nerves initially but then I got something called plantar fasciitis which causes great foot pain which makes it hard to walk never mind run. To realise Jordan had this and probably played with it in secret made me realise how strong a character he is and the sacrifices he made for the club.
    Just wish he'd shoot more from outside the box because he has the capability.
