I actually blew 3rd gear after installing all this stuff lol. The videos will be uploaded in the near future, but the new 5 speed gears are being wpc treated and re installed until I can save up money for a 6 speed swap
@@SWSpeedCo haha that sucks...I was kinda thinking that would happen. The obxt 5spd is decently strong, but definitely not 500whp strong lol. Yeah keep your eyes out for an sti tranny. You probably already know, but you can use spec B rear axles. Can be kind of hard to find tho
@@SWSpeedCo Yeah WPC will give it a lot of strength, I would probably still avoid hard launches and super aggressive driving. Anyways, look forward to the vids on it! Also, what clutch and flywheel are you running rn?
@@SWSpeedCo The 6 speed swap is definitely worth it. My dad did it on his and it is night and day difference, especially highway driving. I get back into mine with the 5 speed and get sad. It is a ton of money and work tho.

That's the plan, im hoping the wpc treatment will improve the strength enough for the time being

I have an ACT 13lb lightweight flywheel, and a spec stage 2 plus clutch which has held up very well
