OMG how can she still play all that crazy hard music at 80 - I'm not even half her age and already having tendonitis like symptoms when I play too long...She's a genius and a force of nature...

Wow!!! Amazing performance! I can just hope that I will have 1/10 of her strength and spirit by the time I am at her age.

I love watching musicians just mess around and have fun. Amazing playing!
She must be tiny, btw. The violin looks like a viola on her!

she plays like she gave her entire being - mind body soul - to it one day a long time ago when still a youth - like she needed to hold on with her whole being and ride the sound with all her might because she knew it would nourish her and save her if she could only be dutiful enough to it and treat it right - like a child with her beloved, humongously powerful pet (like an elephant or something) that both needed each other to make it out of a horrendous condition (like a war) and make it to safety - pure, open - the urgent importance of not taking things for granted ... how precious to be true to what we find is pure in our life are what I feel when I heard this

Damn She's a whole different level. This is what I love about great violinists or musicians. Each of them have a very distinct different style. When I heard Vanessa mae's ver it seems very Techno textbook based. David garrett one has this germanish sound texture.. I Don't really know how to described Because my vocabulary is very limited. I thought david's one was good but Ida's one is just as great. Ida's has this very strong distinct sound. Man, and I really love her version of Paganini caprice no.24
This is a really interesting and awesome version of it. Played in her own style, I love it!(:
Really hope to be like them one day... 😢😢
