thanks brotha i appreciate it
Honestly you changed the way I would think about jobs. I was that "per hour" type of guy but you're right. Really inspirational dude. Keep up the great work. I have an Evo myself that I'm paying off but I'm always looking for better opportunities to make money so I'm definitely going to look into commission paying jobs or performance. Just subbed. 👍🏻
Work for an essential trade, whether it's union or not. I own 2 Evos. Just got to stick with it, get through the apprenticeship and be willing to travel.
Yes sir lots of money in tradesman skills, few are willing to travel or endure the apprenticeship but if you do the pay out and benefits are second to none for most career fields
What do you do if I may ask?

Union job is the best decision i ever made you can make a pretty decent living. work 5:30am-2pm 5 days a week and weekends off
Uumm..what are union jobs?is it like in the government?and thanks 😊 ☺

got my evo x when I was 20. All by myself. No co signer no nothing. Had a 2012 wrx hatchback before that. 2 cars under my name as of now. Just working my ass off. Almost done paying the subie. blessed 🙏🏻
Thank you man, I’m graduating from hs this month and I have some solid plans.. I gave myself a whole year to see how I’m doing.. wouldn’t be joining college I’ll take a year break and after that if I’m doing good I’ll keep grinding and if I’m struggling I’ll join college.. needed motivation and loved this.. subscribed to u
Yo saaame bro, gap years are good, although I am only taking a semester off before I head to higher education. I already have a set job that pays well for a first job, and I calculated that if I keep working with that job I should be able to get my dream car in around a year and a half of part-time working whilst doing college. Wish me luck, and good luck to you brother!
I don’t know how i got here, but thank you; i needed this talk.

I am in the same boat I started car sales when i was 19 and i made 72k on my first year. I am 20 now and ive owned a evo x 2014 gsr with 72k miles a 2007 sti with 94k miles and a 2003 chevy silverado with 77k miles. not only have i been fortunate enough to make decent income but i have also been able to find great deals at my dealership and purchase vehicles that i would have never thought id be able to own at my age. Ive been thinking about making a video on my sales career but im not quite sure how to give people advice because this last year has been a real struggle in car sales for me and im not preforming at the level i was last year. not sure if it was because i got comfortable or lazy or if the market has just shifted that much.
It’s easy don’t have kids or wife 😂👍🏼
lol there you go
Wife is a give or take. You may find one that's willing to shell out a bit more money for you. (Not even talking about rich milfs, but just a within age range wife who makes some money)
Just FYI leaving brake dust on your wheels, especially if it gets wet, can cause etching over time. Just don't want you to mess up some nice and expensive wheels 🤙
yeah i know when i move to a house later this year im gonna keep this car squeaky clean since i can wash it at home and not at the current apartment complex
@@DissFooJosh Yea I hear you on that, apartment living definitely has its drawbacks for car people.
I'm keeping that buying and reselling in mind. I have $200 in my bank making 13 an hour, Im going to keep at it until my age permit more opportunities to truly start my carreer, but things like reselling don't have an age requirement. No excuses!
Love how your videos start with a fresh cup of ☕ keep the content going man!

Step 1. Get a job. Step 2. Live at home. Step 3. Get a loan and pay it off.
Exactly, it’s not hard nor is it a high end car
If you have the opportunity to sure, but there’s a lot more people out there who don’t have the luxury
Lol Imagine having the bank own your car 🤡

See I dont like that. That's how you get yourself in the gutter. I'd rather use my money to make more money, and only get the Evo when I can comfortably.
This is a very valuable video Josh thank you. I’m 21 trying to figure this out

Another important point is to work on something you are passionate about. Josh likes cars and he sells cars!
yo, thank you man
i can relate to your story, thanks for the advice
Just found your channel and def would like to apply your tips. Been trying to get into the resell game. Sold a few things here and there but want to make it more consistent. Btw, would love to see the vid about buying a car at the dealership. Financing vs lease has been the topic in mind. Looking forward to it!
do it man the possibilities are endless and the profit potential is definitely there. I will 10/10 keep this in mind and make a video about it in the future!
Personally I sold cars for 3.5 years 2015 -18 little Ford dealer then a Honda/Chrysler/Toyota IMO the Ford made more money and better income for me the customer base was different and the inventory was just more profitable we had way more truck trade ins (used) is where the moneys at bigger margins ... you can go anywhere and get same price on a new vehicle to an extent. The high earners were usually the guys 10 years in or had a lot of friends or network ... I just got tired of the lying aspect or the customer had to lose for me to win and it would always be slow around the holidays! I left seeing the writing on the walls ... car max everywhere and carvanas popping up. Vendor for Coca Cola now decent pay and mileage$$$
Thanks for the wisdom. I dislike the word "advice" because it provides an option. I prefer the word wisdom, you store the information or you lose out on important lessons in life.
we live and learn some lessons are heavier than others all we can do is share and help the next person out
Alright, well hope i can snag an evo x gsr before they're all taken
Advice worked I’m 19 with a 360kw evo x (480hp)

You could join the fire department like I did. Never worked more than 100 days/year. I retired early too, with a good amount of investment money and a pension. Oh. And I have a 2015 Evo X that had 4300 miles on it.
I work salary plus comission. I haven't made less than 6 figures a year in 4 years. The average I makes is around $30k a year in additional comission sales on top of my salary. I never understand people that are scared to take commission jobs. You are believing in yourself when you take a job like that. Plus you can work as little or as much as you want.
I’m an electrician. I make 32 dollars an hour and I have my own shop in my house and I get copart cars and fix them and I’m only 22.
Im finishing my eletrician course this month I own a ralliart but I want that evo so bad but im scarred of the electrician job like I never work as a construction worker and I hope It wont be hard cause I really want this job to have my evo had any tips for my first day?
@@lastsurvivortry7729 bro don’t even trip. The first year they’re gonna make you clean and do small shit. But it’s easiest trade ever. You can make lots of money. I started a contracting business and in a month I make good money. Double debits. Don’t give up on the trade

I just turned 19 you think I could do that?
You in LA county or IE?
hwo do you detail cars for 3500 a month ? holy cow you make more than most people
One thing to do is to invest in the stock market while working your current job.
as a secondary income yeah but stocks are more for people who already have solid money coming in to expend and potentially waste if it gets lost investing
What is your job now?
What glasses are those? Lol thanks in advance
For anyone out there you can also become a truck driver get your class A & make $$
Very nice rims. They would look great on my MR. If any things happens to my BBS i am go for those rims. Good advice you have . But you for got 1 thing. Don't get married or have kids. 👍👍👍
Have you tried to fix your relationship with your parents?
Oh yee 😎
¿Como confiar en ti como me respodirias?
most poeple on earth don't make 80+k a year especially as a Honda dealer ? something doesnt add up most regular car dealership sales only make about 50 mabey, where you getting a extra 30k from
theres someone i know making a $150,000 a year in honda sales, it depends on location and the pay plan.

put the money in etherium double it come back then buy the evo
You’re a cool robot 🤖 😝 lol
Do you think purchasing a house before getting your dream build is a better choice than vise-versa? I’m 22 years old, make almost 80k a year ,no student loans, as a controls system engineer and I want an STI so bad lol, but I can’t see myself getting a 35k-40k vehicle before owning a home where I can keep it parked in the driveway. What are your thoughts?
I'm 22, bought my evo9 when I was 18, paid it off in 2.5 years. I make 80-90k a year depending on overtime. Still live at home and I'm building my evo right now. Yes, with the money I've dropped into this build I could have bought a house, but one thing you gotta consider is money really starts to tighten up when you buy a house. If you can stay at home, build the car now and get it out of the way, save for a few years for a fat down payment on a house. That's exactly what I'm doing.
@@dylank4432 that’s awesome bro! Yeah I see where you getting at. Though to me I was thinking of purchasing a two family house, then renting a portion of it. Here in NJ rent is high so I’d be able to cover a big chunk of a mortgage by renting it to someone, then I would be able to purchase the car and eventually save up enough money to purchase another a house where I’d actually live on my own with my gf (if we’re still together by then), and then rent out the other property. I may be getting ahead of myself but I’m trying to structure things in a way that makes sense. But I indeed see how feasible your method is, only issue is that I kind of don’t want to live in my house anymore 😂. So I either suck it up and do as you’re doing or just leave and have to wait a few more years until I can get my hands on the sti lol

Let´s see... You wonna do some plumbing in Germany? Oh, sure. But you need a education for this.
You wonna start a company in plumbing, so you can actually work for uself? Yeah, sure. But you need further education for that.
You wonna do Buying/Selling in Germany? Yeah, sure. But finance authority will come after you. xD
Sadly receiving 7 grand in Germany gross will net you just like 3.9k net.
How to afford an Evo? Get a job? They're not exotics 🤦♂️. There's tons of cars out there that are more expensive. A Jeep Wrangler costs more than an Evo X.
