The text of this music by David Nelson Miller is adapted from the final sentence of Abraham Lincoln's first inaugural address.
This premiere performance by the Pacific Youth Choir and Pacific University Chamber Singers and Pianists Janet Coleman and Michael Barnes took place at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Portland, Oregon on February 24th, 2013.

This choral piece should have been used in the Hollywood feature film of Lincoln's life produced by Spielberg! The composer's love and insight into Lincoln's mystical nature is captured in this marvelous composition. I felt an upliftment in my consciousness while listening to the joyful children's chorale perform this "Epic Masterpiece" of David Miller!
