Biggest race on the planet yet here we are with 720p highlights and randomly no sound in the middle of the video. Do you guys even watch your own content? Come on, Le Mans deserves better.

Agreed. I love me some loud tunes but trying to show highlights to my very old fashioned father was really bothering him and surprised the hell out of me. What's wrong with engine noise? Can we re-up without the dubstep?

Every racing channel adds music. So annoying with engines, commentators and music together.
This was such a bad highlights video… You guys made it look like a 24 hour borefest. A few spins and a ton of yellow flags to clear up the track. That’s it? Really?

The vette and ferrari battles were fun to watch live on the inboard feed

This was a pretty sad "highlights" video. Section without comments, nothing said about 3 of the classes.
Why no focus on LMGTE pro? That is easily the most intersting class to some.

Maybe highlights should be per class. I only care about the GT cars, Hypercars are totally unrelatable as they have no road going counterparts.
And maybe a summary of the winners per class would be very, very, very helpful.
I thought Hypercars would be something new. They just look like slightly changed LMP1 to me.

Disagree that Sam Bird was "fully alongside"; if you're "fully alongside" generally the other car can see you fully alongside out their windscreen hence the word usage.
That incident Manuel Maldonado had with the team car at Dunlop corner was inexcusable and amateur level, he should not come back to United Autosport for that one.

Steve Manuel Maldonado was like a rookie on a brand new sim rig. It was sad and hilarious at the same time. Toyota won, Porsche is gonna have to grab the balls and the keys and come back in 2023….

Yeah it was a strange one with the variable conditions but, sometimes that's what makes the race what it is the consistent inconsistency and attrition of time.

2 days after the end of the race to produce an amateur video... Thanks, but there are still improvements to be done for next year. This is not new stuff though, because previous videos showed the same moments... disappointing and a pity for one of the most important race on earth ! Least but not last, the quality of the images is a bit low...

So lucky the flag guy was not killed by the chase in the LMP2 field with the 2nd WRT car slowing and the Jota up its arse. Congratulations to the WRT driver for preventing disaster.

Usually i would NEVER click dislike for ANYTHING Le Mans,but these "highlights" were done as if they had a competition on who can show what happened without showing almost anything. Better don't do it if you're not gonna do it right.

The Glickenhaus is easily the best looking racecar on the track, sadly got beat by the 2 more traditional hypercars. I guess those LMP1 aerodynamics are no joke.

Good improvement with the commentary but please give more air time to the GTE classes. Results were not even given for the GTE classes

Just feel bad for the drivers and mechanics of the teams which crash out despite having no fault of their own. So much preparations go into the Le Mans race weekend and results to nothing

Why is the music so bad at the crash?
I´ve got a new Idea for a Rule Change: If a car can´t go on by itself the Marshals have to evaluate if the car can race on, if not the car has to retire immediatly, but if the car can race on the marshals have to pull it out from where it stranded and park it alongside the racetrack.

@zulfikangga Toyota never won against the 919 though. Not saying they haven't deserved the wins in the last years but they never won against real competition. They've come really close and they had a lot of bad luck but that does not change the facts. It's gonna be interesting against Peugeot, Ferrari, etc.

Come on guys, not 1080p, not 60fps, garbage music out of the blue starting at 5:38 then no sound at all 6:31. Plus only 12 minutes of highlights of 24 hours of racing, F1 gets the same amount of highlights in 90 minutes, no podium-celebrations shown, no interviews, the list goes on. This is the worst highlight-video I've ever seen

Totally agree with you David! How is it even possible to make such a bad highlights video of such a great race… It was just marshalls clearing up the track for 6 minutes straight and then the last half hour was shown in the other 6min. The end. What a waste of time…
They don't use 60fps in Europe. They use either 50fps progressive or 50 fields via 25fps with interlaced. But I agree, a highlight video should be Full HD high frame rate which is a must especially for sports.
@@michaelfourie158 I think you fail to see the point of "social media". They upload those videos not for fun, they upload so people watch it, get invested into the sport and spend money on it. Take F1 for example. I can share any video they make to friends and they will see what makes the sport exciting. Could you really share this video with a friend and it would get him excited to watch the next endurance race with you?
This video completely fails to do what it is suppose to do, recap the race and show the exciting parts in a good and this is what I'm complaining about
