You need to moisten the tortilla before putting in pan. I either dip my hands in water and rub the tortilla between my hands or you can use a spray bottle. Perfect soft tortillas.

Really? I’d like to charm on, so I really don’t see what adding water would do for me, I like that slightly crispy chard tortilla flavor, it’s not the same as putting it on the grill but it’s close

You can use (and dry and reuse) cheesecloth instead of paper towels.

does the microwave one really work? dont you want dry heat for corn tortillas? thats usually why i use the pan but it takes so long to do when youre making a lot

dry heat makes em brittle.... too much steam makes em soggy... its a delicate balance

I don't think the pan method works well for home cooks. It's too easy to exceed the safe temperature of your non-stick skillet and damage it.

My husband is complaining about his tortillas sticking together when he warms them up at work. Do they not stick this way ??

It helps to put a moisture paper or really any paper in between the tortillas after warming if you aren't eating them right away.

Did he loosen and separate each tortilla? They kinda stick together right out of the packaging so they need to be fully separated before putting in the damp towel and microwave
