The bailiff in the courtroom to which I am assigned landed an ENORMOUS 7 pound largemouth on a jerkbait a week ago. That's a TRUE MONSTER for a northern strain largemouth in North Central Illinois! I plan to hit the same waters during the forecasted WARM FRONT this week! Wish me lunker!🎣😆
This video is confirmation that if anyone has listened and acted accordingly to your previous library of videos, and went to school on them/took them seriously enough to understand bass fishing, and then applied the knowledge learned using/buying the proper equipment and using the proper techniques, anyone can become a good bass angler, anywhere in the United States. Sure, November through February in most parts of this country are the months most people don't even want to bass fish. But you two on the last day of October, 2022 just SLAYED the different types of bass on the TVA using all sorts of techniques (especially bigger largemouth with the S-Waiver 168), when most people wouldn't even think of getting into a boat. FISHERMEN YOU TWO MOST DEFINITELY ARE!!!!!!!!!!! TIGHT-LINES, FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love watching you guys fish together. I would love another raw and uncut video with both of you. Thank you for all you do to help us become better anglers.
I've never done too well on a LV500 but I have been throwing it more because of you guys. This last Sunday I was able to get a legit 5lbs spotted bass! Thanks for the confidence to throw that bait!
I enjoy watching yall fish. I love fishing, but this year has been a drag when I go out. Jsut can't seem to figure anything out. Thanks for all the tips and your videos.
Y’all are way better men than me if I figure out a bite I’m running that program all day 😂. Also thanks so much for turning me on to the BFS fishing. I’ve had a blast throwing it in Texas and I’ve got some BIGS on BFS tackle lately. That 2.8” Keitech and guppy head is a phenomenal bait. Thanks so much for all the info and content.
Love watching you guys put in work! The way y'all communicate and seamlessly fish around each other is a lesson in its own. The fact that you have the confidence to leave biting fish to find another type of bite is something we'd all like to be able to do. Thanks for the upload guys! 🤙
This has been a great video. Love watching the learning videos. My son likes to fish. So we just bought a little aluminum boat and trying to figure this fishing thing out. Honestly, we’re having a hard time. So videos like this help. Thank you!
It was just really nice seeing you two together again. Your content is super valuable to me, and seeing you two together makes that content even better. Thank you!!
First, it's good to see the two of you fishing together. I always enjoy that. However, you guys are killing me. I just spent four days on Lake of the Ozarks catching lots of dinks and only one keeper. Here you are, cold wind, blue bird skies, and rocking them.
i enjoy both of yall equally, but i love when you fish together, ya'll just work so smooth togethor! Im coming to Chick this weekend, maybe we'll pass paths!
Man I love these TN river videos. I fish Chick alot, hope to run into you guys at the ramp one day. You did a lot better than i have the last few times out.
Thanks for the tips guys. I got my personal best largemouth yesterday on the megabass oneten. The water was cooler so the largies were more aggressive than the peacocks for a nice change.
Enjoyed the video just like every other one that you guys put out but I especially like this one you guys were out there demonstrating showing how and talking about everything and anything how you caught and everything really good video thank you
Good to see you catching them on the lipless, Tim, even though you didn’t mention the bait in your previous vid….I’ve always caught a lot of bass on a lipless in Late Oct-Nov.
Meanwhile in my state, skunking for over a week now. Not just me either, tons of people aren't catching crap, tossing every dang lure ever created including BFS and nothing. That 80/20 rule kickin in hard.
Thanks TB , for turning me into a BEAST on the water. Everybody says all yall do is advertise! LOFL, IDIOTS!!!! SSSHHHH. But for real thanks. Even if I get blanked today I have the confidence to know that WILL NOT happen often. East TN baby.
Was this the cold front that blew in yesterday? We had rain in the Carolinas with yesterday's front. Good deal, glad you guys are busting on em! I need to get out on Norman ASAP! Maybe Lake James next week.
Only on their end of the Tennessee River. Down here on the Kentucky Lake end we had a major Asian Carp spawn this year. plus no grass. And Pickwick is going down fast as AC have made their way there now. And Pickwick has been beat all to hell every weekend since covid started. The Wick is not what it used to be. The best thing is we also had the best shad spawn we’ve seen in years. Hopefully this will help Kentucky Lake recover a little bit. But it is a long way from being what it was. If you catch 5 keepers, your either good with electronics, or lucky 😁👍
@@haroldrogers6566 my buddy lives up north here in California. He lives in Modesto. Planning next year to go frog fishing with him. He's in a lot of tournaments. I'm so excited never been on a boat for bass fishing especially with a frog lure.
Well... it will have to be a little bit. It may or may not have sunk the other day after picking a fight with some very sharp rocks 😂 It'll be welded up and ready for another battle in a few weeks!
@@tacticalbassin ah man, sorry to hear that. I know how that goes all too well. Fog set in early one night on a river here in middle TN and me and a buddy ran his jet boat straight onto an island. 😂 Tight Lines fellas 🎣. Thanks for all you guys do
I want to say thank you for all the knowledge. I slayed them on the top water Tim recommended and the megabass 110. It was my best day on the water. Thanks again.
Man I was tearing them up the other day on the river with the S waver. Hey my buddy is doing both of yall's boats we should connect sometime. I'll show you a few honey holes
Hey Matt how's the Shimano Expride 7'6 MH handle the s waiver 168? I've been searching for a rod for the 168 any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the great videos!
I live in Upstate. (NY). I have a small pond (1.5 acres) Plenty of bass (around 1 to 3 lb) and a plentiful population of Bluegill . Once the weather "turns", typically now, the fish stop biting. where do they go and can you still catch them? (well YOU could, but can I? lol) Pond depth is anywhere from 2' to as deep as 15'. Do they just shut down as the water temp gets cold?
@TacticalBassin I just couldn't find them. I was in the tournament. I caught one 2lber all day. Been going out searching. And catching crazy amounts of DRUM
@@biblebeltfishing Cumberland and Tn. Rivers are totally different. Got skunked Friday for the first time all year on Cordell. Nobody was catching nothing. They are great fisherman and on a better lake .old hickory and Cordell Hull can be 2 tough lakes.water color is off and they are pulling it down.
I know what you mean I throw Bullshad a lot I’m gaining confidence in the s waver I prolly need to throw it more often especially when it starts getting colder

its funny that in the video you posted today 9/23/23 you were fishing the same spot around10:30 in the video
Mat Tim, does a glide bait with a big wobble good or bad ? Just getting in to the “big bait” grinding. 😅
Is the water rather shallow where you are because it appears the trolling motor is churning up muddy water?
Great video another video to give me confidence to throw the glide. Besides changing the hooks do you guys modify the S waiver any other way?
No changes whatsoever besides hooks 👍🏼
What length rod was Matt using on his lipless crank combo?
I wish it were as easy for me as you guys say. I keep trying and I’m struggling.

Their metabolism slows tremendously but they still eat. Incredibly slow moving baits at the absolute deepest part of the pond is where I'd start 👍🏼

Try to ignore those reports and fish hard. 12 lbs won on Chick the other day but as you can see, the bite is actually quite good.

Why are you fishing with what looks like waders?
That's rain gear. It makes a great wind breaker when it's blowing cold to keep you warmer.
