Fucking love these guys man! The 2 studio albums they have out are bad ass. Their EP albums are good too! I have listened to them so much and have seen them twice so far. First time in Columbus, OH at the Newport Music Hall, that show was so incredible it was kind of life changing for me. The second time was in Chicago at the House of Blues on their second day there.
After experiencing bath salts for yourself and then hearing this song you will be convinced that he is really singing about bath salt trips. all i wanna do is fucking sleep is a all to frequent quote of a salts user. In my case it was a research chemical ordered through the silk road that was 100% legal for the first 6 months. also that was the worst 6 months of my life and i am now clean. still this song makes me relive some of those times. weeks of sleeplessness, not being able to come down because it was easier to just keep using something that cost $4 dollars a gram or $10 a eightball, literally having nosebleeds multiple times a day, general drug addict mentality all are part of the horror of it. drugs are none permanent as are the people you meet using, nothing lasts so you just keep pursuing a temporary thing, this is the mentality of a addict. don't use drugs unless your just going to drink or smoke pot. everything else will destroy you unless you are naturally a strong person, im lucky i am or else i would have died.

Not all drug are bad, surely drugs aren’t for everyone, those who already deal with anxiety etc. I can’t say good enough things about psychedelics for those that can accept death a little. Seems to me that most psychedelics can’t be overdosed under as well, meaning the body can handle and clear that stuff way better

These guys, to me at least, have more of a heavy blues/rock mix and in that aspect I'd say more along the lines of ZZ Top, but the lyrics aren't comparable to anyone else I listen to. Check out their 2011 album, I've been listening to it on repeat for about 3 months straight, I can't get enough of it.

This band is the opposite of all that and it's awesome. Best radio rock in a really long time. I almost missed this band right in the middle of that nonsense because I just don't listen to stations that play rock anymore.
