Absolutely true!!! Faith is knowing God and Yeshua are real and that the hope you have in a real God has potential, but there is a flip side to this...I communicate on occasion with radical atheists; who are as they are, having experience christianity small c as nothing but hypocrisy. They will always claim that at one time they like me had faith.....they think that is true because they have been taught that faith and belief are one and the same thing......Naturally if you know God personally, have encountered Him, heard Him speak to you, been lead of the Spirit, you believe in God, but much more you know He is. This belief can in no wise be undermined. It is fixed firmly and scripture calls this a belief of the heart. I hope every person that identifies as Christian has had such an encounter, but I know that many haven't. They have instead been talked into it. Yes they believe its true intellectually. They hope for salvation from a fallen world, and want to be in heaven with God rather than the alternative, they are willing to put in the work to get the reward, but they don't know God.... Depart from me works of iniquity I tell you I never knew you...... It is a burden on my heart that people who have not encountered God should not be fooled into thinking because they consider themselves as people with faith that it is true. James said you believe in God you do well even the demons believe and they tremble....You must be a child reborn by the spirit and infilled to be saved that is what it is to be Christian not religion....not works....relationship. There are also those that have encountered a spirit other than that of God and scripture warns us to test every spirit that it is of God for that reason.... I am like so many convinced the times are reaching the end of days and the great falling away will soon be experienced...God warns us to seek Him while He may be found. Being in a bible believing and teaching church can inform you of God but the only way to know a person is personally and you must understand if you don't Know Him personally the god small g you do know about has been created in your own vain imagination. HE is Real every word spoken by Him is true....He is coming back for His children and the world is soon going to change. I cant imagine a worse fate than to be told by Him to go away.... to think you had been doing His will only to find you had been doing what you thought would please Him and gain you a seat at the table. The righteous walk by faith.....faith comes by hearing Him speak, by encountering Him and if this seams to you somehow impossible implausible, then ask if you think it is somehow to difficult for God to make Himself know to you? Or if He your Father and you His child would not speak to you? Yeshua said My sheep KNOW My voice.....He meant that literally.

If God is no respector of persons, can you explain, trust in a person? Can you explain, Naked trust?
