My son was fired from two different jobs in a few months because he expressed his faith in God and what God thinks about transgenders. The worst part is that management asked him what he thought and promised it was safe to say what he believed, but then fired him the same day because "it made co-workers uncomfortable." Remember, if they ask, it's a set-up. The other job, a co-worker asked him his beliefs and told management and they fired him that day. Even your coworkers will set you up.

So true, once we compromise...the slope is slippery indeed. Many already begin at the bottom end of the slope due lack of knowledge of the scriptures (Hosea 4:6) and prior choices made. In order to climb out of that we can only begin with a change of heart and mind towards the Holiness of our Lord. With God, all things are possible if we turn to Him.

The choice you have in this life is if you're going to give your life to love or hate. You're going to die. You don't know if something comes after or not, and so the safe bet - the smart bet - is to assume there is one. And then, coincidentally, there's a religion that's reigned far longer than any other known, that tells you if you believe that God came to Earth as a man and partook in our suffering, and is going to be the perfect judge, and your best friend, and put you with those who loved him and believed in love as powerfully as you, then you will be with him when you die. And when you start to study it, there's things that can't be explained regarding the growth of this religion. And so, in your need for hope in perfection, in your need for love for yourself and others, it has been promised, and the story that promises is miraculous, and today continues to follow through on that promise.

It’s as likely that my personal consciousness will survive the death of the material body that I inhabit, as the personal consciousness of an alligator will survive the death of the material body that he or she inhabits.

I thank God that He designed built-in consequences for my many sins (for which I am now greatly suffering in my human body) and I thank Him for aging and death. Without these two things, I would not have repented.

There isn’t any doubt that the word "consciousness" baffles most humans, and that is because most of us were indoctrinated from childhood on, to trust in the man-created theology that life (either wonderful, as in eternal bliss … or horrible, as in eternal suffering) “of the self” goes on in a spiritual dimension for eternity. If we were taught from childhood, that it is cells that create material bodies, and that when the cells in bodies of animals, including human animals, die, new vibrant cells, keep the process of life on earth ongoing … we wouldn’t have that urgent need to believe that the self is all important. However, that would be the end of theology … and religion, as we know, is “big business.”
