I'm a Buckeye but I don't understand where a lot of people are coming from with the Wolverines having a ceiling of 8-4 or 9-3. It's not a matter of finding the wins but finding the losses. Who on their schedule is likely to be favored by more than a TD? Early lines have Texas as a 2.5 favorite. Between Texas, Oregon and Ohio State I'm sure the Wolverines can get 1 win. That's 10-2. USC and Washington aren't beating them barring some kind of meltdown. No other team has a shot at beating them. 8-4 or 9-3 seems like the floor not the ceiling.
The over under in Vegas is 9.5 wins. Their schedule is one of the hardest in the country. They play #2, #3, and #4 in the country. That's a tough road to hoe. I have Michigan winning the Big Ten and finishing anywhere between a close penultimate round loss to National Champions. I think people are straight snoozing on this defense and how they will keep Michigan competitive in every game. Michigan has major question marks at QB and WR but Michigan has never relied on elite talent there to win and unlike Steve, I actually think we have two QBs who can do just enough to compliment our defense and win games that most of you guys think we won't.

Will Howard is an upgrade from McCord and Chip Kelly will be a significant upgrade over Day at calling plays. Day never trusted McCord.

Rutgers’ toughest game this year is Wisconsin. As a Michigan fan, I could easily see them going 10 and two without beating a team in the top 40.

It wouldnt surprise me if this year's team and OL looks eerily similar to the 2014 NC team where the OL looks average for a few games early in the season, but by the end they grow into 7-8 dudes, and are playing their best by the end of the year. Thats the idea anyway and one of the big reasons they went after Chip after BoB left. They didnt bring in Howard and Judkins just to look at. They brought them in to bludgeon people with a run game, and occasionally hit the home run with Henderson, and that opens up the always talented receivers for a lootttt of 1 on 1's.

It’s really difficult to have repeat championship seasons. Look at the 2015 Buckeyes. They had every reason to believe they would run the table. After a team wins it all, a program loses the hunger just enough to allow a slip up or 2.

He is lazy and makes bad decisions. Recruiting he had two of note, trey sermon and treyveon Henderson and alot of misses
Bijon Robinson, Charles Lester, Mark Fletcher, Marquis Davis all top 100 backs all were interested all recruiting misses and we didn't take a rb in 22

I have Michigan winning the Big Ten and finishing anywhere between a close penultimate round loss to National Champions. I think people are straight snoozing on this defense and how they will keep Michigan competitive in every game. Michigan has major question marks at QB and WR but Michigan has never relied on elite talent there to win and unlike Steve, I actually think we have two QBs who can do just enough to compliment our defense and win games that most of you guys think we won't.

Ohio State had the best pass defense in the country last , lost no one from it and gained the best safety in the country. We won't know about Michigan's O-line until the Texas game, as they lost the top 7 O-linemen from last year.
