  • Today, I take you out to the largest kayak tournament in 2022 aka KBF NC at Kentucky Lake. The fishing was brutal but you're in for surprise. You will witness my mistakes during this kayak tournament. You will experience what it's like to attend the KBF NC (National Championship) of 2022. If you would like to get started, head to fishing chaos and register for a challenge series monthly tournament hosted by KBF. You basically fish for the month and CPR and fish against other kbf anglers in your state. It's affordable to do this challenge series tournaments out of your kayak and shouldn't break the bank. And if you feel like you want to step up your game, you can join the trail or pro series tournaments via KBF. Good luck guys and enjoy the video. If you live in Kentucky or have low visibility lakes with rock in shallow waters, check out some of the baits below I used to make the KBF top 100.
    The next KBF NC will be in 2024 hopefully at Lake Guntersville and not Kentucky Lake.
    Baits used:

    First ever KBFNC and had a BLAST! Was awesome seeing all the top dawgs fighting it out. Craziest catch was a toss up, caught a 16in smallie on the new Z-man Hellraizer in practice, then on day 1 caught a drum on a rattletrap. Best was an 18.75 with a jackhammer on day 3.

    I have to ask, is that considered a legal catch? I would have thought you would have had to have a rod and reel. I didn't finish watching. Did you tell the tournament director what happened for clarification?

    • @DoubleDigitAngler
      @DoubleDigitAngler  Год назад

      Technically I used a rod and reel with that line. It snapped off the rod and reel. It’s called the snap line off technique and catch

      @@DoubleDigitAngler had fun watching the vid. Well done. We all know the struggle. I personally would have gone to the tournament director and explained what happened, even it hurt my place standing. I'm not saying at all that's what you should have done. I'm only saying what I would have done. Only because it confuses me. It was pretty funny and one of those one time things you could only hope to catch on a vid. Best of luck next season and tight lines to you!
