Im not sure I agree. Im not saying your wrong but I can only hope while Tom may enjoy LOG'S performance he is not coming to that conclusion. LOG is a good band but they are extremely overrated. Dont get me wrong I like LOG's first few albums but they are no more talented then 98.9% of thrash and death metal bands that haven't been as fortunate and were overlooked. I dont think Slayer is handing down the torch of their legacy to them because LOG made the tour. LOG could never do for metal what Slayer has. Slayer is legendary and I dont think people really realize how serious of loss Slayer breaking up/retiring is for American metal culture.
kkiller81 get the fuck out of here. What a horrible analogy. Lamb Of God are a lot better than you obviously know. So kindly fuck off with your horrible opinions.
Man this looked like so much fun. A bunch of friends hanging out on stage supporting each other and having the time of their lives. I pick up so many awesome vibes from this show.
I always love seeing shit like this, just a bunch of friends hanging out, appreciating the music of their peers and just having a good fucking time! so cool
How fucking cool is this. I know im a year late and just seen this, but this honestly gives me back a little bit of the hope ive lost for humankind. Makes me so happy watching this stuff. Thanks for posting this
Man, imagine how validating that must have felt for LoG! To have that much metal history on your stage, digging your stuff, must have been a good feeling for the guys! Good on 'em! They certainly deserve it. Their live shows are amazingly good. That circle pit in the video is dope and all... but I'll betchya it had been going just as strong for their whole set. The sheer velocity and energy that they get a crowd into was stunning to see in person. I'd never seen so many pits and crowd surfing at a show before. \m/ \m/
a Discord buddy of mine was at this show and shared this vid; the rest of the "gang" chilling in the back just makes it so much more damn amazing!! \m/
This crowd is 10 times better than the one I was in when they were in the States a few months ago. The venue was 3/4ths chairs so nobody could move like they wanted so of course everyone defaulted to taking their phones out and being a bunch of recording statues.
I wasn't there but I know what you mean. Everything now a days is like that. I rarely even take pictures. Most people are more worried about watching concerts and sporting events through the small screen of there phone to get it posted on there facetagram page rather than putting it away and actually experiencing something in real life. Before slayer goes out they need to have a big 4 reunion show at one of these festivals that would fuckin insane they should pick 4 to 5 songs to play from each band and they all play together that would be insanity
I had a motorcycle accident late last year that shattered my collarbone and right shoulder and also chipped bones in my hip. While surgery corrected the broken bones and I was able to play earlier this year, I experienced some issues related to the injuries that needed to be addressed with a rigorous schedule of physical and occupational therapy which, is what I have been doing regularly since July. I am making great progress in addition to playing/practicing every day. Playing drums is what I do and refuse to do it poorly. I will be back behind the kit ASAP. Thanks again for the love! See you soon, Chris
This is what metal is all about. If you can't feel the energy just by watching this video then you simply don't understand.
Thats fucking right. Damn, I need a fucking beer!
Much better in person than opposed to watching through crappy video & sound quality.
