I Survived 100 Days in Hardcore RLCraft... and Defeated the Final Boss!

- I played hardcore Minecraft on the RLCraft modpack in v2.9.3 and attempted to beat the game without dying a single time. This video took me around 170 hours to make and lots of blood sweat and tears (over 100 hardcore world attempts), but I enjoyed the process and am happy to share this with you all. Enjoy!

I haven't watched the entire video but i can already tell how different your approach to rlcraft is. Everyone else is always trying to be as tankie as possible while your playthrough actually looks like a stealth game. Probs on you for staying so long in leather armor on a hardcore world.
Invisibility is way too fun, and it was cool fighting the lycanite bosses without max protections, health, and enchants

I've watched a lot of RLCraft Hardcore runs, but this one had by far the most interesting strategy and execution, and i loved a lot of the video editing as well!
Great quality video. Honestly thought I was watching one of those huge 1M channels.
I especially liked the much more careful approach with the invicibility. I never use invisibility because "muh armor is too low".
No way this man thrives in Hardcore RLCraft in leather armor while I'm terrified to step foot outside my fortifications in full diamond...

Oh I also wanted to say, I LOVE YOUR EARLY GAME. That is the nearly the same way I play early game except you skip straight to invis while I would just blitz the 3rd battle tower floor and quickly break down the spawners!
Very underrated, love your humor and you have a very chill vibe despite it being such a stressful modpack.
Probably super late, but Lunar's Blessing (and all other enchantments that relate to a weather effect) increase damage dealt during their specific weather at the cost of REDUCING damage in any other weather condition. Since they're all mutually exclusive with each other, these enchantments will more likely NERF your damage more often than they help.
I ended up actually making an in depth enchanting series, so now I watch this and cringe at my lack of game knowledge XD
Ngl, it was painful seeing u pass by that small house by the battle tower u spawned at since there's a crafting table to steal inside lol
Almost all my hardcore runs start by those small houses by ocean so it's something I always do
Edit: ok that invisibility potion segment was sick as hell, I'm definitely trying that on my next RLCraft run

I think I just dismissed it as a garbage structure bc it was on my mental checklist of useless structures or smth, GOOD TO KNOW.
Either way tho I still found a portal and a village day 1, so ig the game gave me another chance lol

Using dirt bucket in amaglich fight is so genius I hadn't known it before. I got cocky and once lost all my endgame gear from instakill of amaglich before. All of my silver armors and baubles are lost and I cant even retrieve it. If i go Lost city mobs would one shot me and I had to take a break from rlcraft :'(. Really awesome playthrough and best 100days video I have seen.
For tips tho Spectral silk can be broken down from rainbow rune and for that color runes can be easily made from mining in quartz crystal caves in overworld.

I learned the dirt bucket thing from watching speedruns! And i've also lost some gear from the insta kill before, but I used a polarized stone and a recall potion to get some of it back. Died a few times doing it, but it was worth it XD

I have never seen any rlcraft player use invisibility potions to loot a bunch of dungeon chests IN HARDCORE, that was a very unique technique.

the reason why the wrath pendant can be found in the Shivaxi monument is that it's a leftover from a time when amalgalich didn't exist yet thus didn't drop it and it was craftable back then

tip: you can also summon and fight the royal archvile boss for the demon soulstone as an easier alternative to the ebon cacodemon
Hey something I didn't discover till like mid to late game was
With a hippogriff and bow you can easily loot top 2 chest on battle towers and break 2 spawners for xp
Just hit tower golem from opposite side of the chests and go near the bottom floors
He will start blasting and start to fall to the bottom rooms and after his below the 4th floor just go a bit far to unagro him and then the get loot from the top

didn't know invis was so powerful , now i wanna see if i can have (some) fun in RLcraft now.
curious why you didn't destroy spawners as you went through the lycanaties dungeons initially , you like pick and choose.
There's always a chance mobs will just spawn ontop of you if you get too close, and thats wasn't really a risk I wanted to take. Even with lighting the spawners, they always instantly spawn once, so the enemy might walk too close and see you.
Invis doesn't stop mobs from seeing you entirely, its just reduced range, so it was still a major risk getting so close to as many lycabite mobs as I did that early on.

resistance in rlcraft gives 15% dmg reduction per level not 20% due to it being applied pre armor calc meaning it reduces durability dmg taken as well
As always thanks for the great tip. I thought I tried everything to reduce durability damage and it didn't work, but I guess not! Apparently Iron Skin in Level Up Reloaded also reduces durability damage!
@@Calebrune3 yeah the other things are saber/rapier, undying/armored (the 3% one) qualities, adapted living/sentient armor

I’m confused I see so many people using silver or leather armor, I haven’t played in 3-4 years but what’s going on? Is there a reason to it instead of golem or dragon armor? Is the like fire reinforced dragon armor not the best anymore?
I used leather to see how viable invisibility would be in a full play through since the invisibility potion only works with leather.
Silver is normal for Lost Cities gamers since it gives you a speed buff and a cure effect that nullifies most of the criplling lost cities potion / global effects. (Still good in overworld, just takes a while to reforge compared to dragon)
Dragon is for your typical end game overworld, "I wanna fight the ender dragon and loot dungeons without getting one shot" sorta thing, it looks super cool, and typically is easiest reliable armor set to through all of your enchants on and reforge easily.
Golem is for people who want to completely max defense, get the absolute best of the best in everything, and typically grind for the longest to get there. Basically, the most late-game armor set and a big flex, though silver is still better for Lost Cities specifically if your maxed.

Scape and Run parasites aren't lycanites, its a different mod. There are like virulent and a red varient of parasites, but no lycanite bois.

Just fyi then, this was a very abnormal way to play through the game XD. Invisibility is very fun though, just requires a lot of game knowledge.
Early-game: easy loot with invis
Late-game: very hard with invis unless you know exactly what to look out for and what your doing.

Just wondering why you used leather armor? Is there a set buff like in terraria?
Leather armor is the only armor that works with invisibility without any negative drawbacks (7% mob detection radius as opposed to 70% with any other armor type).
There actually is a set buff for having a full masterful quality leather armor set that gives true shot and absorption, but I didn't know about it until I'd already finished recording XD

@@azackattack1115 If you aren't playing hc then keep wiping until you find a few village waystones.
Otherwise just start a new world if you spawn in a cold biome with no better ones around. Oceans and snow biomes are hardest to survive in and are most often not worth it.
