tip for looting the top 2 chests on the battle tower: use carry (shift right click with an empty main and off hand) to pick up the chest then just jump down and place it so you can open it safely. For the chest at the highest floor, carefully place a 2x2 block on top of the chest to prevent you from accidentally opening the chest and to block the golem vision. If it's locked, you can safely lockpick it and it wont alert the golem as long as you have the 2x2 on top of the chest. Also for an easy scarlet reaver, all you need is the black heart, a diamond block which you can make by smelting found diamond armor, iron block or ore, and defilement powder which is just the mushroom in defiled lands. Use the defilement powder on the diamond block to defile it into scarlite, and on the iron to turn it into umbrium. Ez vampirism weapon

I was playing this modpack with my friend, yeah? And we got so tired of literally everything. We lost our items on us in the caves as we were tackled by grues, gnekks, an assortment of stupidly powerful creatures that continued to stack up as we attempted to retrieve our stuff. So.. I've got one: whatever happens, don't panic. To panic in RLCraft is to die. I just lost my most recent Hardcore attempt due to panic. I was sneaking through the Nether and saw a Blighted Grigori (for those that don't know, Grigori can see through Invisibility). Knowing how much danger I was in, I panicked... despite the fact that thanks to the distance from the Grigori and my levels in Stealth, it probably hadn't even seen me yet. Didn't matter, I sprinted blindly in the opposite direction... straight into a Wraith. I panicked even more-- some of my worst run-ins in RLCraft have been thanks to Wraiths. I didn't even bother fighting the Wraith, I tried to run instead. Big mistake, Wraiths are fast as fuck and barely have any health; I probably could have even tanked the explosion on death no problem. Instead, because I was too panicked from the Blight Grigori and surprise Wraith... I let the Wraith bite me to death as I attempted to run away in vain. The nether is super dangerous, but for once, my mistake wasn't from being ill-prepared for it-- my mistake was throwing all of my prep out the window as soon as I saw something scary.
@@esbernhawkins5912 So relatable 😭. It's actually so difficult to think straight sometime when you get those random chains of unlucky events like that. Like why does everything bad always happen at once XD
I remember playing a lot of rlcraft in 2.8(i think it was that ver) i had a dragon killing chupacabra, i would lure dragons to the ground and my pet would destroy them lol

biggest mistake I just did yesterday is make a base at a village surrounded by 4 dragons and a battle tower is literally right next to the houses and I died so much
I actually find Scarlet Reaver very op and I even keep it even in end game, in that time I will be rocking a flamed/ice dragon nunchuk with enchants and in my offhand a scarlet reaver also enchanted but if I am using ice nunchuk I dont enchant scarlet reaver with fire aspect. You can hold down left click then just hit with right click for scarlet reaver and if both your weapons have lifesteal and vampirism you are basically unkillable
Interesting idea! While I've never tried this myself, I do have some concerns about how those would both interact with enemies invincibility frames since nunchucks usually hit that speed by themselves. Alternatively tho you could just eat a paleo salad for insane extra healing.
Wasnt the Scape amd Run Parasites mod added? That makes fatming animals much more difficult since they all just get infected... I tried removing the mod but it broke the entire pack. I like SRP, but it doesnt fit RLCraft imo
Imo, scape and run feels like the end-game mod I've always wanted! I think it fits perfectly with the RLCraft difficulty curve, because honestly, if you've ever hit end-game in the mod, nothing can kill you anywhere but the Lost Cities. And the infection doesn't spread between dimensions like it did in the original mod, so no worries on ur piggies.
i recently fought a shambler that looked nothing like an enderman. are the enderman type from defiled and the other type from lycanites? either way, this is a really solid video and helped me a ton. thanks
@@neptern990 Oh I'm not hating! I actually love that mod lol, but in terms of difficulty it makes any modpack super easy. Also I looked into GTNH some more and all I have to say is Length ≠ Difficulty imo. But it definitely looks fun!
@@Calebrune3 I mean for me difficulty is based on if I will be able to 100% percent it or not. Also most of the time if a modpack doesn't have tinkers I'm not sure I will even play it, unless it has a custom tool/weapon progression like RLcraft or rogue dungeons.
Tips: make sure to settle on a grinding style, if you want a high risk high reward, go for a battle tower and invest on attack and defense. If you want a slow surefire one that will guarantee a higher floor, go for farming to make wine. You'll do both of these eventually anyway, so it's just to keep your mind on one goal. Personally I love the wine farming route. After hours of just farming in poverty, I can easly cheese a battle tower. Satisfying.
Question. (I'm using a translation site, so sorry if the translation is weird) I didn't know that the level of enemy mobs increases when they are in the same chunk, and before I knew it, their level went up from 2 to 12, and I am in a tough situation with my iron equipment. The spirits that appear without warning in the caves and the small, quick enemy mobs (I really don't like the spiders and small demons that stick to their faces that are added with the Lycanites Mobs). Do you have any good countermeasures?
Yes! Levels are typically not something you need to worry about unless your dealling with lycanite fusions 12:39. The guys that appear in the caves are called darklings, and they have to ability to turn invisible in low light levels. I reccomend never going in caves until you have REALLY strong gear, or are using an invisibility potion and no armor (or leather armor) since mobs like that won't able to see you unless you walk really close to them. Let me know if that answers your questions!
@@Calebrune3 Sorry for the late reply. With the strategy of raising the HP level and using pets as decoys, the caves have become rather stable, but the dungeon system is still tough. There are too many sponers and the enemies appear too fast... At any rate, I've moved on a bit, so thanks for the advice!
Oh! I didn't actually know that about lockpicking not aggroing the golem. I suppose then as long as it isn't an enchanted lock it should be totally fine to just pick the lock and then hopper the chest! And as for the choke mobs, that's definitely nice bit of info to know :3
@@Calebrune3 You can also use the carry mod to pick up the chest if you block the golem's vision. I'm not sure about 2.9.2 but there are some videos about it. So using these tips you can lock pick the chest and then pick it up and using water, you can hop down and then open the goods without getting shot by the golem once. It is risky though because you might accidentally open the chest or agro the golem while trying to block his vision
@@puffif5322 I've done it recently and it does indeed work. I messed up both times though and apparently you can survive a battle tower fireball without any armor nor baubles. The only problem with it is that the golem fell off so there is just a random tower golem on the floor but it made it extremely easy to loot the second and third floor chests because I just had to open them instead of having to move them down or hopper them
The safest way to play RLCraft is by digging health shards. It's a bad idea to dig something except shards. After a few real days of digging you can finally start to play... This is why I hate this mod with body parts.
Is there a way to remove the enhanced animations of spiders and cave spiders as Im pretty sure the only thing stopping me from fully playing this modpack is this (and maybe some other spider like enemies if there are any)
Yeah, couldn't tell you exactly what mod to disable, but you would just have to go into your mods tab in the escape menu and disable the mod that enables those animations. That goes for pretty much any mod though that you don't like, and its actually pretty common for people to disable mods like the temprature one. (I like OG experience personally tho)
i feel like im way to unlucky to play rl craft, anything mad that can happen will happen to me, even with all these tips the game will find a way to kill me and get rid of all my stuff, most of the time the second i die to anything in the game hundreds of things will spawn or happen to me that will prevent me from getting all my stuff back, the game will literally break and bug out as long as it can get rid of loot
We've all been there, trust me... 😅 The best thing I can reccomend is to take each death and learn from them. If you die from a battle tower, maybe wait until your gear is better to tackle it again! And if a blight cave spider runs you over, just keep in mind they can't fly or swim fast, so take just in case actions the next time you see a cave spider spawner.
I started playing yesterday, no shame in cheating a little bit or using creative to get used to the different items and the hellish mobs. Other people hate cheating but as long as yours having fun there's no shame :)
I would like to progress without doing death cheese to get village loot. But if that proves to be too painful, I guess that's what I'll do. I did die to find a beginning village. It just has a black dragon neighbor that I saw reduce an entire tower to ash. Need to find some place to live such that I can be safe. A bunker to protect me from the events and everything but banshees. It's gonna be a painful process I think. Comments seem to think this guide is legit, and I've been looking for something that isn't stupid as fuck. I added corail tombstone bc I live my loot being in a grave and not on a timer that only runs when i'm near by. It's just a pet peeve I've modded out since the beginning of minecraft.
"Find a village with no dragons nearby" Good luck with the first step already, there's always a dragon within render distance of a village for me for some reason

Like why does everything bad always happen at once XD
wow, an actual good guide.
I remember playing a lot of rlcraft in 2.8(i think it was that ver) i had a dragon killing chupacabra, i would lure dragons to the ground and my pet would destroy them lol
2:23 thats the only reason i subscribed to you
Based.
10:20 you can also actually use pike and a distance of 3 block away from the chest then use the pike reach 2 passive to open the chest then loot, it will agro the golem but won't attack you unless you get close after u close the chest😂
whack XD
6:11 i chose to live in the weird little mansion cause I knew I’d be safe… I saw the weird trap door and was like… ohhh a secret room how hidden… little did I know there was a secret candle lever 😂
biggest mistake I just did yesterday is make a base at a village surrounded by 4 dragons and a battle tower is literally right next to the houses and I died so much
I feel that... trial by fire my brother. But we always prevail! 🫡
One of the best tips ever is to be a faster gamer
Watching slow minecraft players playing thjs hurts my eyes LIKE DUDE WHY ARE YOU SCARED OF A CREEPER
Caseoh need to look at this
I actually find Scarlet Reaver very op and I even keep it even in end game, in that time I will be rocking a flamed/ice dragon nunchuk with enchants and in my offhand a scarlet reaver also enchanted but if I am using ice nunchuk I dont enchant scarlet reaver with fire aspect.
How to make the hearts for each limb show up on ur screen and not the body icon??
Trueshot rings are amazing with dragons
Haha! Great video!
nice videos you should make a playthrough would be awsome to watch🔥
I'm really considering it! Just trying to find as many ways to speed up my gameplay as I can so its more interesting :P
Finally a rlcraft vid
Its so hard to find a good rlcraft vid this days😂❤

someone tell caseoh about this video

You have a good future ahead of you :)
i recently fought a shambler that looked nothing like an enderman. are the enderman type from defiled and the other type from lycanites?
either way, this is a really solid video and helped me a ton. thanks
Yep, they have the same name but are different! The one from lycanite is more of a mossy tree monster dude.
awesome guide!!
0:03 Compared to modpacks like GTNH RLCraft is a walk in the park ngl.
Oh really? I'll have to check it out sometime! Though I'm already doubting this seeing as how it has tinkerers construct 😅
@@Calebrune3 why you hating on tinkers? Its 100x better than normal pickaxes IMO.
Satisfying.
tip: krake farming is easy and just requires some raw or cooked meat
I started playing yesterday on my pc, 20 to 40 fps but it's enjoyable
I died alot of times 😂 it's a cool modpack
That's how I started as well! I have an actual build now, and turns out some of the fps drops are unavoidable anyways XD
Sounds like a school safety briefing ngl
cool video what's ur pc specs ( really wanna know )

Question.
(I'm using a translation site, so sorry if the translation is weird)
I didn't know that the level of enemy mobs increases when they are in the same chunk, and before I knew it, their level went up from 2 to 12, and
I am in a tough situation with my iron equipment.
The spirits that appear without warning in the caves and the small, quick enemy mobs
(I really don't like the spiders and small demons that stick to their faces that are added with the Lycanites Mobs).
@@Calebrune3
Sorry for the late reply.
With the strategy of raising the HP level and using pets as decoys, the caves have become rather stable, but the dungeon system is still tough.
There are too many sponers and the enemies appear too fast...
At any rate, I've moved on a bit, so thanks for the advice!
i didnt know that the update actually add mob detection system. thats why the dragon keep finding me even if i far away from it
Its investigative, so if they detect you in some given location, they'll go check out the last place they saw you.
About the choke infernal I think you have said in the wrong way, you need to attack the choke infernal to not get drowning damage
And also lockpicking the locked chests does not aggro the golem
@@HappyCuteKitten it still works 2.9.2 I've tested it out.
@@puffif5322 I've done it recently and it does indeed work. I messed up both times though and apparently you can survive a battle tower fireball without any armor nor baubles. The only problem with it is that the golem fell off so there is just a random tower golem on the floor but it made it extremely easy to loot the second and third floor chests because I just had to open them instead of having to move them down or hopper them
are there any other mods you use on top of the RLcraft pack or is that all included in RLcraft
@@jacobb-o5j nope! You can if you want, but I find everything I need is already in the pack to begin with :]
Always have your horse until lumpy kills it 😅
It was a slow horse anyways XD
Nice guide, really. But what happened with those rabbits feet? What are you NOT telling us?
That's classified.
u just earned a sub
The safest way to play RLCraft is by digging health shards. It's a bad idea to dig something except shards. After a few real days of digging you can finally start to play... This is why I hate this mod with body parts.
thanks!
I can not find that song that you used, any tips on where I could listen to It?
Yep! Here's a link.

Whats the difference between stone tower shield and round shield?
There is no mechanical difference to my knowledge, is pretty much just cosmetic.
lol@@Calebrune3
Is there a way to remove the enhanced animations of spiders and cave spiders as Im pretty sure the only thing stopping me from fully playing this modpack is this (and maybe some other spider like enemies if there are any)
Yeah, couldn't tell you exactly what mod to disable, but you would just have to go into your mods tab in the escape menu and disable the mod that enables those animations.
That goes for pretty much any mod though that you don't like, and its actually pretty common for people to disable mods like the temprature one. (I like OG experience personally tho)
if you go into the config for Mo' Bends you should be able to disable it
Can you please tell me what the music used in the video is?
Presence I by musicarus on Soundcloud!
I use spear hook launcher for raid battle towers because it is too op
THERE WAS A SECOND SECRET ROOM IN THE WINE FARM AREA WTF I HAD MY HOLE BASE THERE AND NEVER KNEW

I just got the Black Plague event and oh my god it was the worst. I died at least 14 times until those bozos despawned
@@DisappointedJynxzi Mob events are so cool XD
can you help me why =my nunchuk spinning animation not working
i feel like im way to unlucky to play rl craft, anything mad that can happen will happen to me, even with all these tips the game will find a way to kill me and get rid of all my stuff, most of the time the second i die to anything in the game hundreds of things will spawn or happen to me that will prevent me from getting all my stuff back, the game will literally break and bug out as long as it can get rid of loot
We've all been there, trust me... 😅
The best thing I can reccomend is to take each death and learn from them.
Shivaxi just need to update the pack to a new minecraft version. It shouldnt be unstable anymore on 1.18
Hello, what mod to show the health bars of each part of your body? Or there is a setting for it?
No mod! 8:22
@@Calebrune3 ah thank you, i guess i Miss it when watching through your video
Step 1:don't die
Step 2: ignore previous step
Step 3: ignore step 2
When i died i respawned in the different area i didnt respawn back to my bed, can u help me how i change it?
STICKY JUMPSCRARE
my problem is that there is no tower with good loot so that i can make any thing good
Thank u

Good luck with the first step already, there's always a dragon within render distance of a village for me for some reason
