To anyone having a pain with getting golem armor due to music discs, digging dirt is the best and fastest way to get them. Just max your treasure hunting skill from L menu and get golden osmosis shovel.
I have been playing RLCraft for... quite some time to say really. Some armor sets I knew had set bonuses that weren't displayed due to extra stats I got, and some I didn't know how to obtain like Scarlite and other armors from the Amulet (Which I only learned about a few months ago as I never really found Mimics) This was a very helpful video for the armors I simply didn't know the full details about. I did a little write-up on golden bookwyrm armor on the subreddit like a month-ish ago and if I recall correctly, someone stated that it was considered another viable strat for lost cities (I assume the damage buff and magic shield), and then someone else did an experiment of their own on its magic damage buff properties and found that putting advanced thorns on it can practically one shot most mobs in the overworld. It's such a niche armor due to its difficulty to obtain, but honestly it's super cool.
Agreed! I've never done a magic build personally, but I've heard a lot of good things about them. Usually the only people who run magic builds tho are people that have an ocean of game knowledge... so it kinda the big brain techy build that takes a lot of research to use properly XD Didn't know it was considered viable for lc though, thats cool!

@@emberkley6135 It's probably true, but only if you know what your getting into in there and what mobs to watch out for. You can get away with a ton of goofy builds in the lc if you know what everything does, so the viablity is probably just dependant on the player :P
Good suggestions! Building around lycanite events is pretty simple though, basically just don't use cobblestone, gravel, or flammable blocks when building a house. As far as settling in certain areas goes, really the main thing that changes from biome to biome is temperature. Besides the ocean, jungles, defiled lands, and maybe like 1 or 2 other biomes that are way too hostile to recommend settling it, I think just following general survival tips covers as much as I could cover in a vid like that :)
Fun fact if you lvl up your treasure hunting in the l menu it will allow you to get music disc's even rare ones for rune crafting recipes, so you don't have to go the route of getting a skeleton to shoot a creeper route.
Good point! XD I personally really like finding a creeper spawner and baiting a skeleton to ignite tnt on them all. Idk why. Probably bc I used to be obsessed with creepers and music discs in vanilla

I never knew that you can reforge golem armor with steel, I read that it was only possible with nether stars which was upsetting so thank you so much for the info.
for me golden armor set is king early/mid and almost late game. no mending, more 50% more dmg and more dmg on important enchants. Just get p4 and iron skin max and we are set. never got a breaking golden armor set, but, u can always get unbreaking 3 witch is easly gotten on lvl30 enchants anyway. thanks for the vid ♥♥
I love my two strength rings but I absolutely need regeneration in the future (currently using one strength and one either to be able to heal by spamming stack with a blunt weapon. So I'm gonna go with tide guardian! Great strength 4 (carrying a water bucket and makes the heart of the sea unnecessary. Opening up 3 slots (2 strength rings and one heart of the sea). Though I would definatley miss the speed of silver armour

Imo we need a bit of a armor rebalance, too many useless/impossible to obtain (realistically) armors. I didn't even know half of these were in the game lol.
Set bonues won't appear on some sets unless you have the whole set equipped. The only mod I used here was one that let me see durability without the armor being damage. So default config no mods should show it?
Sirens and Sea Serpents are not really a danger. Unless you have a leather armor or no armor at all and you forgot to equip ear plugs, then you're screwed. In addition, it's more dangerous when they're on water but once they get to land, pretty easy to kill except the Giant Sea Serpent, that frightens me just by looking at it
Get Prot IV on golden armor, which is really easy. At least 2/5 points in Iron Skin. And a weapon with Parry and Lifesteal II. With this setup, you can kill even the biggest Sea Serpents in melee without a worry.
I don't think so? Pretty sure the boots only help with fall damage, airdashing and hitting a wall would be kinetic damage. Sentient boots could adapt to 20% kinetic resistance though, and the 2 inertia stone baubles would also be really good. (Granted, those baubles are just uber rare drops so prob won't get them without a mob grinder.)
@@blegh277 it's more horizontal than vertical, plus I assume by that point in the game you'd already have advanced ff 4, max athletics, and resistance 3 which is 96% fall damage reduction XD. Adding the boots would put it at like 99% tho lol
@@Calebrune3 I've read up on ice and fire in the past. Dragons weapons harm the opposite varients (idk about lightning), while the armors defend against the respective variants.
@@alex_bearr5612 I've done a bit of research into this myself :P The color of scales effects the appearance and reforge item for the armor and nothing else. DragonSTEEL armor on the other hand does reduce damage taken from all dragon breath attacks, but that armor isn't in RLCraft and probably never will be added unless it recieves huge nerfs.

Definitely not true. I've found plenty of Defiled biomes without golden bookwyrms. Also, they spawn on world creation. So if there's no golden bookwyrm in your biome, there never will be one.
@@Calebrune3 I tried looking around and didn't notice any unique loot or enemies so I wasn't sure if there was a reason to even go there. Obviously now you have the race rings and challenge of the parasites.
Make a vid on crazy craft I switched from rl to crazy xzu rl was way to annoying with hyperthermia and the setting couldn't turn off I was playing with my friend he was host he did it but nothing worked

Though I do think some fun builds could be made with scarlet for dps, and the troll leather chestpiece seems like it could be theoretically better then sentient chestpiece with projectile dmg reduction. (Pretty every lycanite ranged attack is considered a projectile)

Adv Thorns III pretty much does the one shot thing by itself. You don't need the buff from the armor at that point in time.

Also you can get troll tusk to from treasure hunting I found that out while I was digging up disc's

Not sure about the name of the mod, but only leather and golem have new bonues if they are masterworked

It is a structure with a set generation, so would make since if you find one, you'll always find one.

Definitely not true. I've found plenty of Defiled biomes without golden bookwyrms. Also, they spawn on world creation. So if there's no golden bookwyrm in your biome, there never will be one.

Not an uncommon opinion. Lost cities is way easier and you can get flying mounts way easier. Also its closest to the version we all used to play XD
