Great video Tom. Thank you for letting us know about the pressure gauge and the pressure reducer. This was another very helpful video.

Thank you for this! When all you can do is read about a process, finally having a visual Really helps! Especially when you’ve no one to ask.
Another process I’d love to see is the installation of a water timer. I can see how using these two items in tandem could be very useful. What are your thoughts? As an aside, I’d be interested in more of you videos:). You do a very good job, even of filming of your bird baths. So peaceful, Thanks!!

What a great video! This is all new to me and I do not want to sound like a dope. I use 1 tablespoon of fert to one gallon of water. How can I make the mixture so I am getting gallons at a time watering with a house for all my plants and hanging baskets? ☺☺☺

If you use a garden hose with sprayer for fertilizer, Miracle Gro makes one, which I know works with its granulated fertilizer designed for it. If you're using a liquid fertilizer of your choice, Ortho makes an adjustable "Dial N Spray" that I believe covers from about 8 ounces to 1 teaspoon per gallon, and it does have an adjustable setting for 1 ounce per gallon; it has a liquid reservoir capacity of 32 ounces, which means you could fertilize with one ounce of liquid up to 32 gallons of water with one fill.
If you want to set up a drip line from your house's spigot, I would search "Installing a drip line to my house's spigot"
      Hope that this helps.

@@doityourselferhomeandgarde9732 Thanks so much, Yes, yes I understand what you are saying. I have a drip system hooked up. So far so good but wanted to try to use the Chapin 16oz Liquid Fertilizer Injector connect to "hose" watering if you know what I mean..? Your videos are sooo interesting. I am glad I found your channel.😄

Exactly what type and brand of fertilizer are you using? Is it liquid or granulated? If granulated, is it water soluble? @@pennyarizzio2824

How long did it take before the water turned clear? Mine seems to be getting a darker blue rather than clear. Which doesn't make sense.

I am not sure what type of fertilizer or food you are using. But flow rate or water pressure dictates how fast your injector works. If you were to fill the injector with 5 ounces of liquid fertilizer, it would take 5 gallons of water flow, more or less, to dispense the fertilizer, which means low water flow through the injector would cause a slower use of the liquid fertilizer.
What brand and type of fertilizer are you using?
