Regarding the capacity, this Frozen Ever After has a theoretical maximum capacity of 3500 guests per hour, if it gets anywhere near that when running it will be one of the biggest capacity rides in the resort, and one of if not the biggest one in Studios!

It would honestly be really cool to have a lion king experience, and if you really think about it, the two lands really match together as they are the highest grossing animated movies from disney! I wouldn’t say Galaxy’s Edge fails as a land, but rather has immense untapped potential. The land feels somewhat dead and has no energy, it needs more characters and more movement. @@brittariedel3446, I agree that Star Wars is a major attraction for Disneyland Paris. The current rumor is that the Star Wars land hinted for where Lion King will probably be will be built between the Star Tours attraction and a new Star Wars coaster attraction based on the ride system for Tron Light Cycles in the Magic Kingdom. Why not Percy Jackson? It is a top-rated series with a following similar to Harry Potter. Percy Jackson is one of the most popular series on Disney+. It would be an exciting new IP not seen in other Disney Parks. Like Harry Potter, there are extensive merchandising opportunities for each of the Half-Blood cabins. And the new ride possibilities are endless. I think Disney is tired of cookie-cutting attractions from one park to another. That's why they will use the Lion King for the water attraction. And they are already adding Avatar to Disneyland California. I'm not saying that the Avatar attraction wouldn't be great in Paris, too, but I'm just thinking they may want to try a Percy Jackson-themed land in Paris.

    A beautiful, wonderful and huge development, but unfortunately it is late and slow compared to Shanghai Disney, Orlando and Tokyo. Regarding Hong Kong Disney, the Frozen area has been opened since September 2023, and it has not been disrupted much due to Corona, even though the project was announced with Disney Paris. We hope that The Lion King or Star Wars will open next to the lake, as previously announced. Regarding Disney Park, no new area or ride has been added to it since 1996. The opening of Indiana Jones and Space Mountain. Then the company complains of some losses. Investment in it is very weak. We suggest opening New Fantasy Land similar to Disney Florida. Indeed, it will be a great development for Disney Paris for the first time

    With the Lion King Rumor, plus Cars Road Trip, would be interesting if they went for something kind of World Showcase-esque with the lands. Cars is US (although having two Cars-themed rides in different areas of the same park is very jarring for Disney), Frozen Scandinavia, Lion King Sub-Saharan Africa, Tangled Germany/central Europe, Marry Poppins for the UK (maybe they add a bit more to the English Garden but I have doubts), Coco or Enacnto for Latin America (currently proposed for WDW), Moana for Polynesia (Probably just a new garden that is basically Journey of Water), Luca isn't really that easy to implement with a ride although Italy kind of needs to be represented with the lake side feel (I doubt Disney would purpose build a circlevsion 360 or similar theater attraction today as they could do a Disney Nature film plus meet and greet and a restaurant), maybe Mulan for China/east asia with a straddle coaster like Tron (they can bring in some of their Chinese imagineers to help with this project)-from Fox there is Isle of Dogs which has Japanese influence and with the Blue Sky IP intact at Genting Skylands, it's highly unlikely Disney will tap into any of these IP's for their resorts even though Ice Age would still be a bit of a missed opportunity

    @kalzium8857 6 месяцев назад +2

    If i understand correctly, we get one major attraction with frozen and one minor attraction themed after tangled. Then some food options and shows. I think this expansion is interesting. But i think the success of the frozen expansion is hugely dependent how Disney makes frozen 3 and 4. Disney needs to make them cultural phenomens like the first two ones. If they also make over 1 billion $ and you see no public outcry, then the frozen land will be a success.
    The third land is also interesting. I think that it is no secret that frozen is popular with girls. Therefore i would add a land that is popular with boys to balance it out.
    I think that not adding galaxys edge is the right descision. Star wars is in a bad spot and to open a land based on the most unpopular triology is a bad idea.
    The lion king i am not sure. The "live action" remake made a lot of money. But it had mostly a negative reception. I think Disney is waiting for the mufasa prequel to determine the interest in the lion king franchise.

    • @themainstreetnews

      Genuine question, was Frozen 2 a cultural phenomenon? From where I was at the time it seemed a blip, I’m very interested how it was viewed elsewhere.
      You are correct about not having a Star Wars land themed to the latest trilogy, the Avengers Campuses around the world seem to be in set in a non-specific time period, I think the Imagineers could rework and redesign their previous work into more “timeless” version of a Star Wars land if building it from scratch for Paris.
