Heh~ My tattoo boss always told me that if he ever got out of tattooing, he'd go and decorate cakes instead. Similar skill set! Always fun to see where your own developed talents can help in other places in life.
you are wholesome beyond reason, and I am too sensitive to not cry at your pureness right now. Thank you for making me have gentle soft happy feelings today.
Ive been doing some embroidery thanks to these videos. Its so relaxing and fun. Wish i could put up a photo to show you what i made :) thanks for the knowledge.
The chain stitch is always a delight to do, I love using it to fill areas that need a good texture I love love love the addition of the fabric to that second patch!
The chain stitch is pretty cool! I did see a video where you can use the punch needle to do the chain stitch. You just need to thread two pieces of embroidery floss through the needle.
Great video. It's a lot easier to make a chain stitch by making a small removable anchor stitch and looping your first chain stitch around that. Then loop off of that loop. Once you're done you can make a fake chain stitch to replace the original anchor stitch. Goes much more quickly and doesn't require as much attention to your tension.
I don't know who taught you to embroider, but never use knots. You did a good job making the patch. I learned to embroider when I was a child, and the first rule I learned was to never, ever use a knot, the thread is laid on the fabric and worked over, no knots for any reason. It's supposed to look and feel the same as the front. Always. My mom gave me a sewing needle when I was four or five years old and a huge sampler, it was too big for me to finish at that age. I can knit, crochet, embroider, sew, quilt, cross stitch and needlepoint on plastic canvas and Aida cloth. I'm an intermediate knitter and crocheter. The only thing I am unable to do is Tatting, I tried but it just isn't my craft.
I'm a new-ish subscriber but I have to say I truly get so much flipping (yes, I said flipping..🤦♀️) enjoyment out of your videos. Like the amount of work you put into EVERY ONE of them is undeniable. You're addicting! And just one of a kind. 💚
Your videos are literally helping me with my insomnia i dont why but everytime im watching your videos at night it helps me to chill and relax by just listening at your voice and watching you sew, so thank you thank you for helping me fight my insomnia 😭💗 its now easier for me to wake up early for school so thank you ☺️😁😁
