Matt is the Jim Gaffigan of the RUclips bourbon reviewers, and I’m here for that. Also, Larceny BP is always a good decision, except the times you shouldn’t be drinking. A124 was my first and was completely hooked.
I just got the same B524 bottle. I tried it because I love Heaven Hill BIB. And it was in the allocated case for only $67. It was good. I wanted to like it more. Going to let it sit for a bit then come back to it. I was glad to hear your review. It made me feel better for not loving it.
I like the larceny barrel proofs because they’re the only whiskies that I can get chocolate and coffee notes on. The finish is so short though. It like drops off a cliff like a roadrunner and coyote cartoon
I've got 6 of these bad boys going back to C921. They used to be hard to find, now they are easy to find. Always about $60, good value. I've always liked them way better than Larceny small batch which is overly sweet. Don't have the B524 yet, will buy it soon.
B523 is delicious (definitely the best of last year's in my opinion), but I've yet to have one better than C922. I absolutely love C922. I'll wait for the C924 and see how that turns out.
I'm on Vacation in Wisconsin and the prices on standard bourbons are so much better than CO. So far I picked up a bottle of OGD 114 for $15, WT Rare Breed for $42, and Russell Reserve 10 for 25. Woodmans Liqour has been the key.
My first LBP was B523 because the consensus was it was the least "Heaven-Hill-y" and nutty. Drank super hot, never loved it. Used it to make home blends of poor man's WLW and Old Fitz with an oak spiral. Much more palatable.
Its funny, I often find that your palate and likes normally lines up with mine. But I've been liking the Larceny BP bottles lately since b523 till now. I notice that it tastes much better a few days after opening though, some of the more nutty and burnt creme brulee notes kind of fade, and left with a more balanced syrup like texture.
Haven't cracked my B524 yet....A124 was a real nice batch in my opinion...I have a unopened B523 maybe I should keep it that way for a while...On the other hand my new ECBP B524 was a big disappointment.
I loved the larceny B254 as well.. Better than the ECBP B524 actually.. have you been drinking that sweet tea whiskey again? ;) maybe that's what is lingering... :D
One has to remember it’s your palate on this day. And you have to be a wheated bourbon fan. If you follow other reviewers I won’t mention names these are highly regarded. I’m a wheated bourbon guy so these are good. Again it’s a personal taste preference and I understand that. Enjoy!!
Hi matt im new.. and not new since you were at my dreams so I see you already before I see you. Its just like a song from savage garden called I knew I love you before I met you that kind of situation but without love since we have not met yet even we meet Its not gonna happen since im a guy. Now that I watched this video, Im officially not new anymore.so I can say that.. liver pump five. Cheers! If you feelin' it.

Just got the B524 today and I love it. Enjoying your content👍
I feel like you should just take all the bottles of this stuff you have and make a giant Larceny blend and seeing what happens lol
Picked up the B524 last week, first bottle of Larceny. Great bottle, very nutty 🍻

It's good. It has that base taste that is good. But this doesn't have like that bready taste that I have gotten out of better blends.

B523 is my favourite as well! Great video as always! 🍻
💯 sleep on one best burbons ever tasted it knocked my socks 🧦 off completely great burbon
Dude! 10 out of 10 on the Glencarin pour!
What are you doing making videos at 1:30 AM? I love it! I mean I love ADHD Whiskey not the bottle. Haven't had it.
I real like them! I’m also a big Bookers fan too so…kind of explains it.
The A124 batch was a banger, excited to try this year’s B batch
The B524 was my first larceny experience, am definitely a fan of this.
B523 is delicious (definitely the best of last year's in my opinion), but I've yet to have one better than C922. I absolutely love C922. I'll wait for the C924 and see how that turns out.
I’m not new here - you are still named Matt and my name is still Nick. Another A+ video and Prime Porter!
"Takes over your mouth like Connor McGregor in a Speedo-wearing competition."
I have C922 and it’s really good.
Looking for that
It is. And B523 and C923. A123 is the most off profile to me. It’s a ton of oak and some cherry.
I find them generally hot as well. I prefer the Elijah Craig Barrel Proof (also Heaven Hill). It seems people like one or the other.
half way through my second bottle of this one.
I grabbed a back up cuz I liked it so much.

Have you been to a Woodman's yet?
Lol. I didn't finish reading your comment 😆😄
Can we get this son of a batch up to 100k?
I grabbed the B524 ECBP instead of this. I don't regret that.
Funny shit, great review

Would love to see a comparison between a Larceny BP and a heaven hill grain to glass wheater
My first Larceny BP and it won’t be my last. I find it delicious!
Straight up peanut shell finish

B523 & C923 were both hitters
I don’t get the Larceny dislike I enjoy the heck out of it
Mineral wool insulation in the ceiling will fix the whispering...
Halfway through the pour I realize I'M looking at the glass to make sure it goes in... and he isn't. Haha.
Nailed it

My B523 got better with air. Now my favorite larceny BP ever
I seem to gravitate towards B releases.
I’m a root beer float guy myself 😂
I loved the larceny B254 as well.. Better than the ECBP B524 actually.. have you been drinking that sweet tea whiskey again? ;) maybe that's what is lingering... :D
For all circus tents and porpoises....

Don’t worry.
It’s all good.

As they get closer to $70 it's less and less appealing($65 in my area rn).
It's been a hot and humid summer. Pour it over ice, enjoy and and suck it up Buttercup.
10% Humidy 🤷♂️
That's right, you are in Colorado. I'm in Vermont. It's been a brutal 60%+ humidity nightmare. Either way, enjoy some ice cold bourbon, my friend!!
I don’t care for LBP. But the C923 was a banger….and off profile.

Wheaters never have the complexity and depth a bourbon friendly rye can offer, Larceny bp is always a bit boring on the pallete
Anything sitting on a pallet is pretty boring.
@@dneuens hahah *knee slap
I quit chasing these, so much other stuff I enjoy more…
They’re fairly easy to find where I am. But…what others to you enjoy more? I’m always interested in trying new whiskey. Thanks
