- After randomly pulling a name out of our gum-ball machine, we have 12 hours to find a bottle of Larceny Barrel Proof. But first we have to spin the Wheel of Terms & Conditions to see what rule we have to follow to along our hunt. Can we find a bottle in time?
On this hunt we visit 6 stores and travel just over 40 miles!

That was fun! I found all 3 of the 2023 Larceny BPs for $60 in my area, and for that price it's pretty darn good. I will be joining you (in parallel) for a best of '23 blind tasting soon.

Larceny C923 came in 2nd on Fred Minnick’s Top 100 of 2023. For that reason, I went out and bought one. Still haven’t been able to find an Elijah Craig Barrel Proof.
This is a great concept, more whammies! I ❤️ that you bought other bottles and had pours along the way, you weren’t too focused to not smell the roses.

Love this format! Fun. LBP has become pretty easy to find these days. I don't have a C923 yet but I paid $53 for my B523 and I've never paid more than $65.
I bought 2 bottles from Total Wine in LA for $75 each, then brought it back home in KY. They had a lot! crazy CA can get it but in Northern KY forget it at MSRP.
We already have the perfectly good words "cost" and "expense," not to mention a word that actually was in the caption - "total." So why twist the verb "spend" into pretending it's a noun? It just grates on my sensibilities when people do that. English is a beautiful, flexible, precise, wonderful language, and I hate to see people misusing words like that. It's akin to using a tire iron to open a tin can, or using the front door key to comb your hair. It's using the wrong tool for the job, when the right tool is handy.
Okay, end of rant. I like Larceny, and expect I'd love the barrel proof. Later on - after an avocado and extra sharp cheddar sandwich - I'll have a glass of Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Barrel Proof, at 128.2°. 🥃

Looks cold there, I’m still in shorts and a t-shirt! I passed on a Midwinter’s for 129.00 at Costco, maybe I’ll go back tomorrow. Picked up a Knob Creek 7 rye last week and it’s pretty good! I’m having an early small pour of Booker’s Storyteller right now and it’s really nice!

What a fun series and it made me go out yesterday and look for something different. Living in SW Florida it's always a challenge to find something rare. At a local Winn-Dixie grocery spirt store, I found Old Forester, Single Barrel, Barrel Strength , 132 Proof, Store Select, for 82.00. To make this even better they had Eagle Rare 10 Year for 35.00.

Love this series! I found a bottle of Larceny BP B523 on sale for $47.99! Tried it and ran back and bought a backup. I’m guessing they had it priced incorrectly. I like the B523 over the C923. But the C is still great.

The ECBP dried up fast here but everybody has the Larceny for around $70.
You need to do a review of the Never Say Die Bourbon Small Batch stat! The only review out there is from a British reviewer and this sauce needs some more reviews, especially with it being such a small release with only 2750 bottles, you can be the first big Bourbon reviewer to do something on this very hard to find, limited release bottle.
Every pour I’ve had is better than the last with that bottle. Hope you guys enjoy as much as I have.

I have two bottles of Elijah Craig C923 Barrel Proof and paid the same price y'all paid for this Larceny.
That is a ridiculous price for Red Spot - $330. I found one in Pensacola on vacation last week for $155. I’m from MN, and was first time I saw one in two plus years hunting.

How about a store pick at 120 proof or higher!
Possible suggestions: knob creek 12+, HH7, Eagle rare, really any buffalo trace product (EHT, Blantons, RHF, ETL, weller line), EC 18, old fitz, Wild turkey Kentucky spirit, coy hill?, willet purple tops, IW Harper 15 (already saw that in this video), widow Jane decadence. That’s all I can think of for now

Showed in the video was the “French Oaked” version. The regular cask strength 46 come in their taller bottle.
That’s a label redesign. Maker’s 46 has always been French oak staves.
