I jumped those towers. Very exciting day it was. Jerry makes a mockery out of it but he was a hoot. Not sure how his character would have made it to tower week but hey, it was only a movie, not a recruiting video.
That's the problem with a lot of Jerry Lewis' military films. They're just too silly and feel out of place in a military setting. Sailor Beware is even worse, his character is a total idiot...and yet he not only is kept in the Navy, a serious personality WAVE wants to keep dating him! DEFINITELY some weird fiction.
