My name is Dmitri, i live on the Gold Coast Australia. I remember a tingling sensation i would experience when i was young, as i grew i found i could trigger the experience when i found the right set stimuli like the tone of a person's voice, gentle massage, watching someone focus on a task. This was before video and internet were in the same thought range. Over time i found and experienced many different situations to learn about all the different triggers for ASMR. I translated that experience & combined some innate ability to help people experience it with the high quality studio recordings to bring the highest quality tingles i can.
ASMR is a tingly feeling the commonly felt in the scalp area and often down the back and other parts of the body. ASMS is commonly experienced through a soft spoken or whispering voice, ear to ear sounds or binaural sounds, watching or experience massage, plus a Variety of sounds like tapping crinkle scratching.
Some of the benefits of ASMR might be sleep relaxation reduce stress and anxiety
I specialize in no talking ASMR video's focusing on ASMR sounds, i try to create different video for all the different preferences people have. Some of my role plays are based in fictional characters like Dr Dmitri & Manwelle
I loved watching massage video to experience ASMR so i like to create video to replicate these experiences with other, like head massage, back massage for total body relaxation.
What is ASMR ? A theory
When your cranial nerves receives information in the form of sight, sounds & Senses your brain may process this information as let us say a "trigger" When you cranial nerves find that perfect combination of "Triggers" it activates the full effect of the parasympathetic nervous system almost like a symphony neurons hitting the perfect note as wave after wave of feelings cascades down the nervous system down the spine and to many parts of the body
I believe it may then releases one or more of: oxytocin, acetylcholine, GABA, Serotonin, endorphins directing into the brain and blood stream Instantly relaxing, clearing cortisol, adrenaline and soothes the body.
There is another side effect of this symphony that it puts the brain into a alpha state and after the person falls asleep allows them to access a deeper delta level state during sleep.
This theory idea was put forward to me by a very special person, i believe they have a insight and understanding of ASMR that even i do not have.

@@sammyrockywelly correct, inaudible can mean unable to be heard :) I used this word as an umbrella term for any "inaudible triggers" such as inaudible whispers or inaudible mouth sounds. In the ASMR community inaudible triggers are used to describe more muffled or difficult to make out sounds, rather than completely silent. But you are correct, a word like unintelligible would have probably been more suitable for my comment in this context.

I'm an ADF vet. I remember seeing a news stories years ago with you on it (Ch9?) talking about how ASMR helped some clients of yours with PTSD. Now, I don't have PTSD but I have had anxiety attacks over the last two years. I always loved going back and listening to your inaudible sounds / whispering videos. The fact you have uploaded some more is pure magic mate. I hope you had a great break and got some good holidays in!
IT can help for sure, it seems to activate the body natural system to relax you, i do get messages sometimes on how my video help people. Some of the stories are quite moving,
MassageASMR and Gentle Whispering ASMR were the first channels that brought me to the realm of and the enjoyment of ASMR. Even nowadays I still listen to my favourite videos of both channels on a daily basis, even tho the videos are years old. Just so relaxing. Helped me a lot with insomnia and depression in the past years. Thank you so much for your work!

Welcome back Dimitri. Been watching since 2013 (when I had to take care of a parent through major surgery and I couldn't sleep), and glad to know you're still here.

I use to watch your haircut role play on replay my last couple of years of high school and I’m 24 now. I remember your videos making me feel at piece during school. I even had you playing in my ears while hanging out with friends. You truly make me feel like everything is okay watching you today again, the same way you did then. I’m at the stage where I need to go back out into the workforce and I’m stressed about that and this video I know is going to be my new safe place while I’m working and in stressful times. I hope this isn’t too overwhelming to read but I wanted to tell you.

Thanks for your support, my videos are a tool. ASMR has a way of helping people. I try to create a space you can go, i remember 30+ years ago i used to wait till no one was home and hope my fav lady on the shopping network was on. It was my little safe space of tingles.
@@MassageASMR oh cool! I had a similar thing too before high school before I discovered ASMR. It was on 5am every morning and I would watch it. It was the guy that use to showcase the multi purpose drill bits and the orange metal cutting nibbler. You might’ve seen him, it was about 12-14 years ago on the home shopping episodes

Not trying to put down others, but most modern asmrists, or at least popular ones, focus way too much on specific triggers, instead of the good stuff. The unintentional sounding, or anticipatory style asmr is what made asmr. Even with trigger specific videos, Dmitri has always done this very well, and never overdid anything really. I think we need more of this style content, and less ear sucking or extremely fast whispers.
Thanks for your comment, i try to make content that focus on relaxation. I think of situations in real life that made me feel relaxed and recreate them in my videos. I really want to try to give people ASMR in the street. Like a busker but offering ASMR relaxation experiences

Dmitri, i have been watching ASMR videos for maybe 10 years now and i remember seeing your videos maybe not quite at the beginning but soon after they rly picked up, and to this day you remain one of my favorite ASMR artist. It makes me genuinely happy to see your top quality content but also you grow and get older as a person all in good health (from what ive seen), and in all authenticity and thats something that inspires me and wishes to be as well as i myself get older.

You helped me through maaaanyy nights when I had struggled in my teen years with insomnia. First one I found when I discovered ASMR in highschool, I remember the first year was like tingle heaven hahaha. Hadn't experienced it since I was a child. Don't experience it anymore unless it's in person - maybe at the bank or doctor. I'm almost 30 now. Boy time really does fly by.

@@SeriousJB Wow... I think ER and Dmitri were some of my absolute favorites to check out, used to love his old Candyman series quite a lot. I have sorta forgotten about him until seeing these comments and that is really disappointing to hear... I think it was maybe two years ago I checked out his content most recently but even still that is quite a surprising turn of events!
