I'm not a GOP but that's probably the first interview I've heard where Mr. Trump was not "ON" so to speak, and he actually came off as a very reasonable and intelligent person. He usually seems egotistic and self promoting, which leads me to believe Donald Trump only cares about Donald Trump, but I didn't get the slightest hint of that here, and he sounded pretty genuine. Props to Cowherd for not attacking his character nor lobbing him softball questions so he could slam his opponents. It served his interests to do so. It helped shape the image he was trying to create. But the press's job never changed. They were still there to shine light into dark corners. Trump may not have liked it, but he didn't deserve treatment any different from what nixon, ford, carter, reagan, bush, clinton, bush, or obama got. The press has been making politicians uncomfortable for as long as I've been alive. I don't like it when they shine a light on politicians I voted for, but I want the truth first.

I don't think people give Colin the credit he deserves for all the phenomenal guests he has on his shows. This guy got the leading republican candidate (and eventual president of the United States) on his show just before the height of election season hit. That's nuts, especially for a sports show.

The thing I notice is how well the interviewer (Cowherd) obviously prepared and what amount of thought went into his questions. This was very professional. Colin could be a seriously good debate moderator.

Going back 4 years and hearing Trump speak is just... Surreal compared to today. I've always leaned more towards supporting trump because my biggest thing with him was that he wasn't a politician. Here he speaks with much less hesitation than he does now which leads me to think Trump might be getting swallowed up by politics. He still seems to be anti-politics and more pro-action. It feels like he had the big idea of going into office and making things happen and making action with minimal politics but when you go into Washington, they don't let you do that, they only care to play politics. This is an EXTREMELY interesting interview to go back and watch and Colin Cowherd has probably done the best journalism on Trump than anyone in the last 4 years

Trump is not really a politician never has been one either. He is born though and through as a value producing business worker. Right now he has called himself a politician...it more like he is acting out that role, but he is far, far from being a politician.

Anthony Rodriguez Trump does sound different. He would say things off the bat, and it would make you think this guy is a troll. Whenever you rewatch something Trump says it has a lot of truth to it.
Going back 4 years and hearing Trump speak is just... Surreal compared to today. I've always leaned more towards supporting trump because my biggest thing with him was that he wasn't a politician. Here he speaks with much less hesitation than he does now which leads me to think Trump might be getting swallowed up by politics. He still seems to be anti-politics and more pro-action. It feels like he had the big idea of going into office and making things happen and making action with minimal politics but when you go into Washington, they don't let you do that, they only care to play politics. This is an EXTREMELY interesting interview to go back and watch and Colin Cowherd has probably done the best journalism on Trump than anyone in the last 4 years
