Why are we not building more homes using large Shipping Containers in these high risk areas? The full metal frame can withstand earthquakes. At least you wouldn't need to worry about roof collapsing on you.

Our traditional hous3 is stronger the oldest even stand about 200 year old
The structure of many of the buildings is not conducive to earthquakes.
It is located in the Ring of fire that is why prone to Earth quake.
