- Charis Bible College is led by Word-Faith preacher Andrew Wommack. Last week I was preaching at a nearby church and, while there, the pastor and a few other church members and I dropped by Charis to visit. We were invited in and we sat in on a class. I was kicked out of Charis for asking a question. Here is how it happened, why I did it, and the end will be quite the encouraging surprise.

My baby had been given a death sentence. We were told she had a fatal muscle disease and she would not live to be 2 years old. We had her prayed for and she was healed and is now 27 yrs old! She continued to see the neurologist who told us she would die before she was 2 and he just scratched his head and said it had to have been God. He didn't want to believe it but each time my daughter would be examined by him and she was developing normally and showed no signs of a fatal decline, he had to admit a power beyond himself healed my daughter! ❤

Glory to God! Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He healed and raised people from the dead then, and gave us His very Spirit to live in us, and do the works He did to carry on His ministry! So thankful that He said it’s BETTER for us that He would go away, yet He will come again. 🔥

Above all, scripture tells us we must be spiritually born again.
One time I prayed for a person in a nursing home who had been in a coma for years. He woke up at the very moment I was sharing the plan of salvation with his unresponsive, almost lifeless body. His mom walked into his room and began yelling with excitement.
Another time, my husband was supernaturally healed of 3 torn ligaments in his shoulder. He was unable to raise his arm and was in a lot of pain. Doctors said he would need surgery. Instantly, when prayed for, he could raise his arm over his head and without pain. His doctors were amazed. They had no choice but to release him to return to work, which he gladly did.
These are just 2 instances of many.
Listen, I don't know why some are healed and some are not; why some healings are instant, and some are progressive. I wish I did. But even without understanding fully, we thank the Healer, Redeemer, Deliverer, and our Salvation- Jesus.
Instead of wasting time being divided, let's strengthen the body of Christ by uniting on what we agree on. It's because of this division in the Body that the extreme Left is wrecking our country, our children, and our God-given freedoms.

YOU ARE SPEAKING TRUTH, in healthcare 40 years, Jesus granted me many healings when praying for patients. The unbelievers or believers that didn’t know that Jesus still heals all hated when I was on shift.
Some are healing..some miracles...miracles are instant
Problem is when an organization is preaching and teaching that their members can heal and perform miracles at will that is wrong. It gives ppl false hope and discourages others to the point they leave the faith. That is dangerous and Bobby Womack's organization is dangerous. I 100% believe God still heals and performs miracles but like you said, He chooses who and how not any living man today.
I agree we can have miracles and healings but not false teaching and greed. Balance
The first place i received the gift of the Holy Spirit and when all doctors told us to put my dad into hospice and he wouldn’t recover from complications of cancer treatments, (pseudomonas aeruginosa). My dad being a former catholic didn’t understand God’s promises of healing but told me to take him somewhere they could pray for him. In August of 2016 I got him to Claris’s Healing Is Here Conference. He was sick before the trip and barely got there. At noon we got him into the prayer healing line and he was prayed for by Larry Greene, and was healed. His doctors were in disbelief and actually apologized for giving up on him. When we returned from the trip we learned his sickness he had was E. coli poisoning. After learning that I knew God had miraculously healed him there. My family is forever grateful of this ministry.

Why wouldn't you be grateful to the power of the Holy Spirit? People don't have the power to heal people. ONLY the spirit of God in Jesus name. And Ecclesiastes says "there is an appointed time for everything " that was your dad's appointed time. God is in control over the beginning and ending of a person's life. I'm grateful for the Lord God. The Holy Spirit and Jesus.
I live close to this ministry. I'm in a wheelchair and have had his devotees come at me in stores so they can pray at me and fix me. I always know when it's one of Womacks warriors. They are sure they can pray me out of my chair. I tell them God has amazingly healed my heart and mind, my body is just a leaky tent. If He wants to wait till I get to heaven to fix that , it's fine with me.
You're not going to be healed against your will.

I was healed at home alone on thanksgiving 2021. of a birth defect causing a lifetime of pain. the Lord gave me Ezekiel 37 for healing verses and took me off all pharmacy medicines. look at what i posted above about pharmacy if you dont mind. And may our Lord Jesus Christ sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit soul and body be kept blameless until the coming of our Lord
God meets you where you’re at. If you want to be healed, you’ll be healed. If you want to wait til heaven, that’s when you’ll be healed. You admitted God healed your heart and mind already. Praise the Lord. So you know He can heal you. You might just let you flesh/thoughts get in the way telling you that your physical body can’t be healed.

When I got healed no one prayed for me, but I got healed by praying and believing in God's healing power. I will not disbelieve there are faults teachers and preacher's. I but I do believe that we can be healed without a doctor's input. Just like Jesus said only a few will enter his kingdom.
What were you healed of?
Justin Peters has never said that God does not do miracles, and nobody has ever said that, the claim is that these false teachers are not doing the miracles that they are claiming to do

The New Testament is about our new covenant of the free gift of forgiveness and therefore, when we give our life to Jesus, we have a restored relationship with God the Father and creator. We do not go through priests to get to Father God now, because Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

My mum was found having abdominal cancer when I was planning ahead my wedding. I had full 40 days fast and pray (juice and water only) for her being healed (also went through chemo). She passed away 3 weeks before the setted date.
During her last few days, one afternoon, she woke up from rather a long sleep saying to me, "I will participate in a wedding" (in Mandarin) then went to sleep again.
It's been 22 years since then, I have had griefs because the dis- attachment from my dear mum emotionally but I have no doubt about my 40 days fast and pray was a calling from God and totally know that mum is going to participate her own wedding with our Lord.
I believe our God is giving us everything, any situation out of His good care to us, never the bad to us would be granted by our Lord.
God healed your dear mother when he took her home. There is a wedding feast for all those who are the Bride of Christ. I'm sure that is what she meant when she spoke to you. Revelation 19:6-9
I pray God to continues healing your own loss..
I knew a woman who for over 20 years continued to pray for healing of arthritis. She was wheel chair confined and in constant pain. Every time she asked for laying of hands and prayer to be delivered her hopes were raised but then she was deeply depressed that she was not healed. She died on the operating table one day, her suffering was finally over. Her husband is still a faithful believer in Christ.

Sorry to see this. I was healed miraculously reading a book of Andrew Womack. He mentioned a scripture so I looked it up. I did what it said and was miraculously healed in a day of a painful condition i had for 2 years.

As with ANYONE, we as born again believers in Jesus, are to test EVERYTHING with the Word of God and the witness of the Holy Spirit . Follow Jesus only and not any other.
I was apart of a word of faith church until a friend of mine in the church died of cancer and they basically said it was because she didn’t have enough faith. She did everything they told her to and she asked me, “why am I still dying?” That changed me forever! Thank you Justin for spreading the truth, I found your channel after I left the word of faith and you have helped me see the truth and come out of confusion.
These WOF get rich wolves think they have all the answers & that God blesses them mightily because of their great faith. It takes no faith to preach things that itching ears want to hear, so they gladly sow their seed to buy a healing from God because the seed shows their great faith. No, their seed makes the wolves get richer by the day to live in mega mansions or build state of the art churches & schools. They use men's fancy words of persuasion & little solid doctrine.
My sister passed away from cancer too and her husband blamed her for not having enough faith. It was one of the worst times of my life seen her dwindle away and her husband treating her so awful.
They always turn it back on the person needing help” YOU did not have enough faith”. They forget the biblical teachings “ if it be your will Gid. My mother went thru a beyond horrific life and I did not understand for years ( and was angry at God) because she was not healed. I do believe that she is or will be in a new glorious new body in heaven. When praying I have learned to pray “if it be your will”.God has a plan for every believer and we were not told that life on this earth would be easy.My hope is in Christ.
Not having enough faith? Well no one has I guess because I do not know one person who walked with Christ that is still alive. Dr Billy Graham he has died even him according to the WOF lacked faith? Thank you for this talk. On May 5, 2023 I had a lemon size glioblastoma brain tumor removed. I was told I had an average of 18 months to live. This is the worst of the worst in brain cancer. Many people praying for me. I did radiation & chemo. I met a friend new to my area big into this type of ministry who gave me several of Andrew’s books. My spirit did not agree with his teachings but I heard my friend out. Justin, I agree with you on this. If I am completely healed, praise God. If the Lord takes me home, praise God. So far I am doing way better than my doctors ever imagined. I submit myself to the Lords direction for my life. To be told it’s my fault for not having enough faith if I’m not completely healed doesn’t line up with God’s word from what I see. I would love to have a testimony of complete healing but I’m okay with whatever the Lord has in store for me. May God continue to bless your ministry.

I have seen numerous people healed supernaturally over the last 40 years . I myself was crippled in a rehab for 3 years and the doctors told me I would never walk again . I knew God was not done with my ministry and am walking today after I found a wonderful Roman Catholic doctor that was honest about my condition but stated I was too young to be in a wheelchair. Healing depends on hearing from God. We can't just assume his plan for us . My heart for the lost and intercession for people went through the roof after God made me aware of their needs .BTW I am Full Gospel and move in the gifts for 40 years witnessing countless miracles of God.

My sister died, waiting for Jesus to heal her, as per Andre Wommack's word...and her FAITH never wavered.
Not in defense of Andrew Womack but she's healed and walking the heavens with mighty warriors of Christ! I know first hand that that isn't the healing you expected but it's a blessing and something to be thankful for ❤

First, watching this instills quite the visceral despondence amongst any true believers possessing the Holy Spirit anointing of 'discretion'.
Secondly, only God knows our alpha & omegas like He knows the hairs numbering our heads, and no amount of seeding, tithing or offerings can ever be used to bribe God into giving us the wants of any lifelong longevity that our mortal hearts may further desire.
When it's 'Your Time', it's because it's in 'His Time' to both begin & end with in the first place.
This is not a video game.
There are no 'extra lives' that one can win when it's 'Game Over'.
You just hear that sound PacMan makes upon his demise and then it's on to the Afterlife which is where the •real• treasures that are hopefully by you dutifully prior stored up on.
I’m very sorry for your loss. May God continue to comfort you. The thing is this, the word says that when we pray in Jesus faith which we all have as Christians, it works, but we cannot have unbelief. I have prayed in situations and seeing things miraculously happen. And then there other tiles were I prayed, and they did not happen. Bible is clear on why this happens. It is because of my unbelief. I submit to you, that God is not a liar, and your beloved sister must have had some degree of unbelief that her faith. That does not go to say that she was evil or condemned, she is still saved, but like many of us may have fluctuated in the unbelief part. A person can have faith and unbelief at the same time. Remember, it is the faith of Jesus that we have, not our faith. But along with his faith, we have varying degrees of unbelief. God has done his part, believing belief is our part. I hope this blesses you -be well.

I'm blessed by true, faithful preachers like you. I grew up in the charismatic circus and it made me leave my entire life. It was so weird and I always felt worse when I came out. I felt like I could never be good enough. 5 years ago I got saved, and learned about justification and sanctification. I now understand and have the holy spirit. I believe God led me to you and Chris rosebrough. God bless you, I'm learning discernment and growing in my walk with God. My life is so good now, I can't describe it.

I can truly relate sister. I was raised catholic & my whole family. I actually loved it. When I started watching other videos I felt like I was failing God "every day." I was going nuts. Thanks to Justin's videos & preaching scriptures I realized "catholic religion is all backwards & works. It made me feel horrible. I'm so thankful to God Almighty in his mercy he showed/lead me to the truth. I tru to tell my fam, some get it (still catholic though) & some think I'm wrong & gullible believing something new. It's not it's truth. They want a God to tickle their ears 🤦♀️💔🥵

They want to kick out people who tell the truth, whether it's about our sinful nature, about the lake of fire, or about how true believers may not be PHYSICALLY healed when we have an illness or injury.
They hate the truth because it is NOT man-centered. Mr. Peters you did the right thing.
Did the healers not ask the name of the baby - girl baby, boy baby. Why don't they have the patents name. If this had been my baby resurrected I would have called major news outlet. No thinking person can believe this story it lacks fact.
And they hate the truth because they are not of the truth and do not know the wisdom from God, but that of the world. But they know how to intimidate and manipulate simple, undiscerning people, especially young impressionable babes.
Andrew preaches and against sin...what are you talking about ..The only difference is he believes in healing...if you don't fine.....just go and not be healed...why do y'all think it's ok to harass other Christians and to their churches....why are you going there ..you have so much truth start your own church and preach....I would never go to another person's church and tell them how to run in....Go open your own church and do things how you think they should be done ..

When Benny Hinn or other fakes claim people were healed at their services, do you fall for it? God wants you saved and to bring others into His kingdom not give them false hope so they will fall away later. (You know what Jesus says about causing one of these little ones to stumble and about false prophets) I believe God heals people from all sorts of things, when He decides and determines, but I don't believe in these Gulf Stream flying charlatans who call themselves "healers" and say "you just don't have enough faith, so prove your faith by sending more money to my ministry".
My daughter’s mother-in-law and father-in-law graduated Charis. Wonderful Godly people. By the way, Charis is debt-free and was built by paying cash and not credit. God bless Andrew Womack. Money donated by other Bible believing Christians.
After many years of missionary work in the third world seeing the opulence in this building is staggering. I have spoken in churches where all they want is a drink of clean water. They sit on boards across concrete blocks sometimes. The thatched roof leaks when it rains, but the love of God is so evident.

@@patiencenkrumah1528 I have been to Cuba, Yucatan Mexico, Brazil, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Haiti , many more I can't recall. I just am amazed at how churches in America will spend a million dollars to remodel their coffee bar while giving practically nothing to reach out to the rest of the world. Nothing wrong with having a beautiful facility but a recent moral failure in a famous pastor said to have a net worth of 100 million dollars says a lot. We will all have to answer one day.

Tony Evans just stepped down because of a moral failure. No one is exempt and I think the gentleman in this video could be in for a rude awakening when he meets God. To be fair I think we could all be in for a rude awakening. Just some more than others.

Not just the impact on his family, but also when David doubted God's strength and ordered a census of his military might causing a covid like virus to kill thousands of Israelites. So, just as "faith" in God by Word of Faith believers can build an opulent "Bible School", their own sins such as unforgiveness, jealousy, immorality, and misjudjing fellow believers has torn down fortunes 100X what you see in this video that was specifically earmarked to fund missionaries. For whatever unknowable reasons, the faith movement unknowingly and unintentionally turned down opportunities to fund their own and other full gospel missionaries such. The monies went instead to fund Buddhists rescuing child sex slaves. (Perhaps God acting years ahead because of what you regretfully hear in the news just this past week). Maybe such is God's way of using non-Christians because of sins and unforgiveness of those sins in the faith Churches. Nevertheless, nobody is without sin, not even churches who oppose Word of Faith.
Hi! I am a Charis student. Just finished my first year. Jesus has saved my life in every way (physically, emotionally, relationships, etc) through the teaching of the Bible at Charis. I know Him so much better now. I know His love so much more. I know how to hear His voice. I have also seen supernatural healing in myself and others at school. I urge anyone interested to listen to it for themselves and decide what they believe about healing today, as well as other “controversial” beliefs amongst Christians today. Jesus has set me free. Knowing the truth will set you free.

Side note- I have heard Barry teach in person on women preaching. I believe that you misunderstood what he was saying. That was not the same teaching that I heard. He actually had an excellent, Biblical reasons.

Most people who don't believe in the word of faith I believe are intimidated and feel that believing and taking God's word at face value is just not possible for them and are suspect of others who do and are willing to search their hearts and relationship with God until they have the faith to rightly devide the word of God and believe what it says--Those who aren't willing to seek God, pray for wisdom and understanding and study the Bible for guidance, are people that aren't willing to put in the effort to believe so to make themselves feel justified to criticize instead of trusting God to reveal himself to seekers of the Truth. We don't need to set up ourselves up as the only ones who are qualified interpret the Word. When differences come up why not just pray and adk God to give us true understanding and not judge and publicly criticize other ministries . Good morning Justin, just a bit of my background. At the young age of 13, I asked Jesus in my heart. I am 60 today and now renounced all my teaching from the charismatic teaching . I spoke in tongues, you name it I saw it. I am a brain cancer survivor 2x. I have been prayed over 1000s of times. I finally prayed to Jesus that if you want me healed ok, if not on this earth then in heaven. Im ok with that. I will continue to serve you. I wear a brace and I am very weak on my right side. This happened in 2003 and then again in 2010. Two yrs ago I left the church, tired of the petty and crazy flip flopping. I truly believe God ushered me out to find the truth. I loved Bethel music..I never listened to these tv heritics. I did watch Joyce Meyer when I was a lot younger. Long story short, i started researching after watching a video on Lindsay's testimony of being kicked out if the Bethel school of the prophetic. I was so grieved and I continued to search out the NAR stuff. For 2 weeks i was so sick to my stomach and appalled that this was so sick and demented. I started watching yours, Doreen Virtue, John McArthur, Voddie Baucham, Cultish, all the Reform pastors. I have asked Jesus to erase all the apostate teaching and start from scratch. Ive been on a journey and although I am having some come to the realization that God was gently leading me to true theology for a long time, I finally get it. The Holy Spirit is breaking a long time teaching that was not correct. Its really hard for me and sometimes I just cry cause I knew no better. Anyway, thank you for your teaching the truth and being a part of my renouncing the charismatic false teaching. I love Jesus so much and have been in ministry and the chuch since 13. My husband and I were given a ministry feeding people since 2005. Spreading the gospel. I have a lot to learn and I know God loves me with an everlasting love. God Bless you Justin. 🙏
Your testimony is so similar to mine that I felt a desire to comment. I too was searching for the scriptural truth of our Lord and Savior Yahusuah-Jesus Christ. I thought I found it when I became a SDA. Slowly, but surely as hard as I tried to resist the Holy Spirit showing me the true truths of the Word, I surrendered all. I remember Matthew 19:29..."And everyone that hath forsaken houses or brethren or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name's sake, shall receive a hundredfold and shall inherit everlasting life". I do still cry like you when I think about the lost time I spent serving religion but not having a true foundation. May I comfort you dear one with this scripture where David reminds YHWH-God of his many bitter tears: Psalm 56:8..."You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book". May the Father keep you and continue to guide you in all your ways. Amen!

Once I was meeting with a couple of Mormons at a public park. Next to the table where we were sitting, the bathroom building was being renovated. Behind me was a water fountain where kids were coming from the nearby skate park. After the missionaries parted company, I felt heavily discouraged - that the talks went absolutely nowhere. Sitting in my car, a man walked up to my window with a confused look: "Mike? Is that you?" I realized it was my old boss I worked for in his office cleaning company. "I just wanted to let you know, that was my wife and I working on the bathroom building," he says, "and, I gotta say... you did a great job with those Mormons!"
He goes on to tell a story of a man he was ministering to in his office for several weeks. One day he woke up, feeling like the Lord was telling him, "This is the day he's going to commit his life to Jesus". Deeply encouraged, he goes into the office one last time to talk to him, like he normally would...
"I don't want to hear any more about your Jesus. I don't want to see you again. Get out."
Devastated and confused, he's approached by a man from around the corner as he's leaving the cubicle: "Hello. You probably don't know who I am, but I've been working on the tile outside this office. I've been listening to everything you told the man inside, and, I just wanted to let you know, last night, I gave my heart to Jesus."
"So, you may not have been able to reach those Mormons," he says, "but I was able to hear what you were saying. Those kids, as they were coming up to that water fountain, heard what you were saying. Those Mormons might not have had the heart to hear, but you have no idea what you did for those kids."
Justin Peters, you addressed a question to an entire auditorium of Word of Faith students. You may not have been able to reach Barry Bennett, but who knows what you stirred in the hearts of everyone there. Apparently, many are questioning the unsubstantiated teachings of the Word of Faith movement. It never seems to be the person being directly addressed who repents, but it is those few onlookers - like Hudson, and the couple who apologized. Keep addressing those crowds, directly confronting the heard-hearted. There's always someone there who is ready to receive the Gospel.

Thank you Justin. As someone fighting stage 4 lymphoma I’ve said many times that healing will come, it just might not be this side of heaven. I’m waiting for a stem cell donor to be found as all the chemo, auto stem cell transplant, immunotherapy meds have not put me in remission. But I trust God as He is the One who knows all.
Hi Linda i’m sorry you are fighting cancer. I too had cancer… Ovarian stage IA. I grew up in charismatic word of faith and was told if I would just have more faith and speak to the cancer that I would be healed. The burden was placed on me. Thankfully six rounds of chemo later and I am OK. But my experience is part of what brought me out of this awful movement.
I'm so sorry to hear that you are having to go through that right now, Linda. I will pray that you would be able to get a donor. God allowed me to survive lymphoma when I got sick with it when I was 30. I was only stage 2 though. I can't imagine having to go through something like that with a word of faith theology, feeling guilty for having a sickness that I never chose to have like as if it was my fault for supposedly not having enough faith or something. I'm glad it happened to me after I learned that the important thing is where we end up after this short life. I knew that my life was in God's hands and that no matter what happens to me, He is able to watch over my family and provide for them. This gave me a peace that helped me endure the pain that the chemotherapy caused me to have. I learned a lot of things in that time and I learned to be a lot more humble. I pray, Lord willing, that you would survive also so that the Lord can use your testimony to reach others who are suffering without the Light that we have. No matter what happens, we will all meet Jesus one day and we need to be ready. Keep on persevering. 🙏

Thank you so much for these presentations, I became a paraplegic due to MS in 2005, I left my church, because they constantly accused me of not being faithful, wouldn't let me ride their lift bus, if I was faithful enough I wouldn't need the wheelchair lift. Actually, I didn't just leave that church, I gave up and stopped going to church altogether, but stumbled into a lovely online church during the shutdown, now I am totally homebound and get to 'go to church' all the time.
I have MS also. The wheelchair lasted 5 years. Go to Church when you feel like it God healed me four times before, but not physically now. Sisters layed hands and prayed depression of wheelchair away
I understand that you was dissappointed about the prosperity gospel. I have made the experience too, that people who are in the prosperity gospel can´t love, especially not sick people or the poor or real christians in need.
That shows you, that there is not the holy spirit in it but a false spirit of the devil and demons because they can´t love too...
It is very important to proove the spirits in churches in this days.

I'm so sorry you had to go through that. An online church can be a very precious alternative to those of us who can't go in person to a physical Church building.
I am home bound due to serious M.E. Have also had some bad experiences with fake 'healing ministries'. But the Lord used that to open my eyes.
God uses our infirmities and trials to mold us and sanctify us. He can work all things together for good. - And our healing is sure in Him, even if we have to wait for it.

Andrew Wommack doesn’t teach that people don’t have enough faith. He tackles the subject of unbelief, which is scriptural.

Paul teld in Galatians 1, 8 - 10, that he cursed such people because of such a behaviour.
Jesus ever told people to repent, healing shows like in the prosperity gospel are NOT the most important thing, in the opposite! It is more important that we learn from our sins and that we are loving, praying and faithful to Jesus in every situation.

I am so thankful how you Justin Peters chose to let God use you in this way. I was Sick for over 6 years and I feel for the lies. I gave money for healing but when I truly started to seek Jesus he lead me to change my diet, pray and fast. I am so thankful he delivered me from the agony of the sickness I still suffer from ailments but I am better than what I was. It makes me cry when I see the Saints taken advantage of I truly know how they feel. I will be continuing praying that people will seek God and let him lead and guide them through this kind of trail and tribulation. It does no good to be healed of type 2 diabetes or heart disease if one continues to live the same lifestyle that caused it...that's foolishness. Things like CP, MS, blindness etc. are different & even at that, there is no promise in this life that we will be healed miraculously. Healing is a process and God can use doctors, medicine, lifestyle changes etc. Miracles are instantaneous & only things God can do. Furthermore, healing blind eyes was a miracle soley reserved for Jesus to fulfill scripture.
It's the same thing with finances. You can sow til you're blue in the face, but if you have no financial discipline & your outgoing g is more than your incoming, you will be in deficit. Yes, God can & does bless us, but not because we sowed a seed. He blesses us when we humble ourselves & come to Him in prayer w/our need & trust Him to meet that need. Nowhere does He promise us wealth & prosperity.
Thankyou so much for this particular message and posting. Many sufferings in my own life now make much more sense, especially when I have cried out with a true broken heart to the Lord so many times...This is when I know He walks with me, He hears me, and His love runs through my veins and touches my soul in these extreme times of pain.
I was raised in a word faith church as a child. They also would bring in the most vile evangelists who would preach graphic descriptions of hell and described how even children my age would burn because of sin in our lives. I will never forget being pointed at, while one of these men shouted this during a service over and over. I also cried into my pillow most nights asking Jesus to forgive me.
I was too young to notice as a child that the "Love Offering " always came immediately after everyone in the church got worked up and was running to the alter.
As an adult, I realize now
how these false teachers and lying pastors can do so much damage to believers and to those who want to believe.

I used to be heavily into word of faith. I did Amway mom and as my businesses was growing, I attributed it to the word of faith "speaking into existence." But when my business started declining, I was told it was lack of faith.
I used to work out with my sponsor and one day my asthma triggered and I couldn't breathe. My sponsor told me I should have been healed of asthma by then and chided me for my lack of faith.
My Asthma will always be with me and there's nothing I can do about it. Imagine how that makes people like me feel. I was so relieved when I realized that word of faith is a deception a d still having asthma wasn't my fault.

The Word of Faith teaching leaves no room for Paul's teaching of being sober minded, Roms 12:3, 'For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with THE FAITH GOD HAS DISTRIBUTED TO EACH ONE OF YOU.' In fact, it contradicts Paul's teaching.
Paul's teaching is that we, as individuals in the body, have different gifts, though, in the body, the church has all of them together. Just as a body has many parts with different functions; not all have the gift of faith to move mountains; not all have the gift of prophecy; not all have the gift of tongues, etc, 1 Cor 12.
The false teaching of the Word of Faith movement results in condemnation of the weak in faith, the very ones who are to be lifted up. It results in the false accusation that it's your fault, brother, that you are not healed; that you do not have faith to move mountains; that it is not your desire to be an evangelist witnessing on the beach; and on and on.
Paul had an eye affliction. " my strength is sufficient for thee" .

I saw the video of that baby being raised from tge dead. It was a African American woman with her baby. She was crying and brought the lifeless baby up and laid him on the stage right at the steps, begging for help. Then Daniel, Carrie, Charlie, Wommack and others came up and started praying for the baby and it did jerk rapidly and came back alive. I was in tears it was beautiful. They showed the clip during one of the healing schools which is available on RUclips from there channel. You just have to skim through to find it.

@claudiadresel4216 I don't recall if they ever said exactly what the baby had. But the baby was apparently really ill and if I remember correctly, he kept going in and out of consciousness. The mother headed straight to Charis, and I guess the baby died in the car on the way. She brought him up to the stage crying out desperately to save her son. He was limp and lifeless and then that's when Carrie, Carlie, Daniel, Andrew and others went up and circled him. I believe it was Carlie and Daniel who were leading the prayer. It was awesome. God is soo good!

Yes, and not kicked out because we were a bunch of jerks. We would be kicked out for speaking the truth against false teaching. I remember when Joyce Meyer got, I think it was breast cancer. She went to a doctor and got help and people asked why she would need to do that since she believes in Word Faith teaching. She simply said she felt lead of God to do it. Well, right there you can see she doesn't believe what she teaches when it comes right down to it.

What do you think of this? I was walking out of a church service around Summer 2019, while leaving the auditorium and entering the foyer a guy, about 30 years old balancing a toddler on his hip, walked up and interrupts the conversation I was having with a friend. He said "you've got a problem in your back right there don't you?", placing his index finger on my spine directly between my shoulder blades. I said yes. He said "God wants to heal that for you right now", he put his hand on the spot, prayed a short simple prayer calling on the name of Jesus Christ. Hard to describe, but my spine at that spot got warm, not his hand or my skin, but the bone. I was and am healed of that problem ever since. I don't know who he is, and I never saw him again. If I hadn't had a friend with me to witness it, I may of doubted it happened, that and the fact that my back is still better. Thank God.
Lots of people have problems with their back. Faith healers/charismatics usually go for the "do you have pain in your back/leg/neck/arm" since they are the most common areas to have pain in and can be talked around if the persons guess is wrong.

What I may have left out, is that I had just walked out of a church service with a "faith healer", she had had us write all the things we needed healing for on a paper and submit it to her (I had written over a dozen things down and submitted it, but my back problem was the one thing I did NOT write down). I went up for prayer, nothing manifested, I was leaving the service, this guy abruptly comes up to me in the lobby holding his toddler with one arm. I was and still am healed. Believe what you want, you're arguing from an opinion, I don't need an opinion when I have an experience. Jesus Christ is real.

Deuteronomy 28 gives the blessing of the law under the Old Covenant for obedience, and the curse of the law for disobedience. The curse names many diseases specifically, and then it goes on to include “every kind of sickness and disaster not recorded in this book of the law.”
Galatians 3:31 says that Jesus redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. The curse of the law included every sickness and disease imaginable, and Jesus redeemed us from these. Pretty simple, huh?

Wow, crazy I found this video. It has been a long time, but I was a 2005 Charis Bible College graduate and I was also an employee of Andrew Wommack Ministries for 18 months. It is true a lot of people that make up that ministry are very kind hearted people that mean well. Justin, I appreciate your honest and loving approach to how your made this video. I'm so glad and blessed that I have spiritual leaders who peach the word of God and not their own words. They are genuine shepherds who love their sheep and look after the souls of their people with the love of Jesus that dwells in them.

"If you have chronic health issues, well, it's probably because of unforgiveness".- that was said specifically because I reported abuse by a 'deacon' - sooo, my health issues are because I didn't forgive my abuser and wasn't reconciled to him - it was literally preached from the pulpit - that message was removed from their website and from RUclips after I reported it to the leadership .That's when you're not being told it's because you don't have enough faith - that 'teaching' has caused untold heartache to countless thousands - May God have mercy

Dear Justin, since last Aug., I started watching Andrew Wammack and I started speaking life and healing into my Knee Replacement Surgery, that had swelled up so badly after the 1st Surgery in March/22 that I needed the Knee Surgery again in Aug., 22 to clean out the Hematoma that had formed since the 1st Surgery. When I saw his show and my knee was not as bad as the 1st time but bad enough, I learned from Andrew that it was my fault for not praying the right way and that Satan was the one keeping my knee from being healed. I had never prayed life into anything before, in my whole Christian walk, so I thought it was some secret that I just hadn't learned about yet. I swear I rebuked every spirit that I thought may be attacking me that I could think of and then prayed life & healing, just like he said. 9 months later, even though the Surgeon doesn't have a clue why my knee keeps swelling up, I still have no healing or reasons for it not getting well enough to walk pain free. Here's the saddest part. I also have Scoliosis on a 67 degree angle or worse now and I was going to go all the way to Charis where you were, in July for their Family Week Conference, to get doubled healing. After watching you for the last 3 days and repentance prayers and just grieving over the fact that I got pulled into believing all these people on TV, I'm overwhelmed & then today having to ask my dearest friend to forgive me for telling her to watch Andrew. Mr. Peters, how to ever get through all the brainwashing since last August? And maybe just get a scooter like yours, because I am not going anywhere, but in the arm's of Jesus. Definitely no trip in July to Charis Family Week. Thank you for being so bold and truthful. God is definitely using you in these days of deception. 🙏✝️🙏🏾 I was blind, but now I see. 🧎♀️🤲🙌🙌🙌

I went to ORU my first semester of college and was entirely confused by the doctrine they were teaching, which made me question my own faith and whether or not the faith I had was genuine since I was not seeing the same healing in my own life happen. I now know the questions I had were valid and yet I never got answers to them. The questions were my convictions and discernment which were the reason why I left. After I watched American Gospel is when I was reminded of the gospel truth of old that saved me, and dropped out and am now at another Christian college that is faithful to the scriptures. Thank you for your insight and grace when discussing these doctrinal issues, I hope and pray that my friends who still go to ORU one day recognize the dangerous theology that ultimately condemns rather than saves.
That's so sad to hear I can't believe I used to listen to oral Roberts and his son and I didn't realize a bad theology and he was questioned once before he died if about healing he said he actually never knew of anybody that was really healed that was prayed for by him that is on a video if you want to check it out what a farse the guy that on the racetrack gave them I think a million dollars you can check that out too years ago cuz he said for the city of Faith to build the city of faith that I believe was a or is in shambles the guy just wanted to keep him quiet he kept crying on TV about it that God would take oral Roberts home to heaven if he didn't get the money but I believe the city of Faith was never built anyways these guys really believe their own lies may God have mercy on their souls on judgment Day for they will be suffering and also the dumb people that support these people will be suffering too on judgment Day

They stand for whole person education, and they go by this quote from God to Oral Roberts himself, “Raise up your students to hear My voice, to go where My light is dim, where My voice is heard small, and My healing power is not known, even to the uttermost bounds of the earth. Their work will exceed yours, and in this I am well pleased.” They claim to be empowered by the Holy Spirit and see students grow in their faith. They don’t have any sort of articles of faith, just a student contract that you receive once you’re at the school. I also will say the president attempted to teach my class how to speak in tongues, which was crazy, and again this was only a year and a half ago. If you have any other questions just let me know :)

Keep doing the work of an evangelist dear brother. I am miles behind you in the service to the kingdom, but had a similar experience one time that I decided to enter a "name it and claim it" church.
As I got in, a "pastor" was giving supposedly anointed objects to the people. After calling out the error of that, I simply looked him in the eye and said "may the Lord rebuke you". That obviously made the staff angry at me, but I was really consumed by grieve for the whole situation and zeal for the word of God.

I saw the baby raised from the dead on the RUclips livestream. It was not a main session, so there were not as many people there. Was a question and answer panel time. It was not something that they made a spectacle of. It’s just a couple of minutes of the whole hour video. But I saw the baby go from dead to alive. 🙌🏻
Of course it is good to speak life over a child and then see a positive response, but which medical school did you go to to be able to certify that the child was dead?

I attended as a guest on our second date and it was her ardent defense of Andrew Wommack no matter what verses I brought to her that really struck me and I quickly ended that relationship. I challenged her on this, but very lightly and lovingly. It almost felt... cult like in the way it all felt being there. Praying for all who are still under this deception, and others like it. Justin, I used to watch Kenneth Copeland. What turned me away, thank God, was the fact that nothing he said ever came true. I was lost for awhile. But God did kept drawing me back to his word and people like you to show me the truth. Once one knows the truth, you know. But we must remain vigilant in his word.

When Jesus says by your stripes you are healed why would you want to live with your ailment? I have experienced healing, and I’m excited to be walking in healing. I have a friend who was eight years in a nursing home and after listening to Andrew Wommack, he was healed of MS!
I have a chronic illness, Lupus and don't tell most people b/c I'm told if I just had faith enough. 35 years later and getting worse, you have to have more faith to live daily when your body won't work
What you described about students not having their questions answered parallels my experience at Oral Roberts University. God will call His church, no matter where they are today.
They don't want you to think w/your own intellect or question their biblical "authority". It would be like pulling back the curtain on the Great Wizard of Oz

I was very involved in this ministry back in 2001 when it was small. My daughter and son in law both did 2 year course in the UK ,which it was then. Andrew was very humble we liked him.it’s true that he does not have a grand house. I have seen people who were definitely healed when Andrew prayed for them. But I have been to him personally for prayer for healing from paralysis and nothing happened. When he started building his bible college I felt it was wrong and stopped supporting him, and when he invited Kenneth Copland to the opening that did it completely for me. I agree that Copland is demon possessed, and evil. Sadly so many as we were have been led astray, but praise the Lord He has led us out of this teaching.

I rather believe that Christ heals through His Word still today, than to listen to Peters manipulate and steal pls Hope's and Faith bc "HE" didnt get his healing..Hes promoting that God doesnt want ppl well or prosperous and he feels comfortable w/that..and it's ok for him to criticize , and attack his brothers in Christ to dismantle their Ministries bc HE'S THE ONLY ONE who knows the Truth..??He calls them Charleston's..hes projecting himself..He went into Charis Bible College to scheme, bait them to catch them in a lie, to prove that God doesn't heal..He didnt make an appointment like he should of to talk to Andrew face to face, or Barry the right way..he snuck in. ..That's deceiving, it's not honest..Andrew has built a College for ppl to ho to from all over the world to learn the WORD..Does Peter's have anything like that, or is his Ministry is to disprove other Ministries? How do ppl get fed like that?? I might not agree w/some Ministries, but Andrew teaches the Grace message..I've gone to Charis, nothing in this world is perfect, we are ever learning the Word..
I believe Andrew is honest in what he teaches, they are doing their very best to help ppl understand the Word, its up to the individual and how they apply the Word in their life and how much they attain to abide in Christ. All of Gods promises are yes and Amen in Him.. it's all spiritual understanding ..And believing Jesus Christ by Faith whether its for salvation/healing is all the same.
It's all about trusting Him no matter what.

Let me ask you, if people were definitely healed by Andrew, then why do you doubt? Didn't Jesus argue with the pharisees about that exact same thing? They said it was not of God. I'm tell you, in mark 16 it says these signs will follow.
I just discovered this channel today, after looking through his videos, he seems to have a ministry of criticizing others. I can see speaking out against someone who you think is misleading people, but if that’s all you do, that’s strange.

Justin I thank God for you. I was healed from 10 years of crippling depression and anxiety and desire for ending my life during this video. You have helped me understand that God doesn’t want us to wait desperately on him for healing and having our hearts repeatedly broken when we pray / are prayed for and healing doesn’t come.
