Yes, there were a lot of Reggae artists, but Bob Marley opened Reggae and Jamaica to the World. His music was a message for then and now. May his soul rest in peace.

Every parish in Jamaica has its own history, when your in Kingston its more of a party style plus work ,so the streets of Kingston is always busy but when you visit the north coast its a different lifestyle, You put those two together and there you have this beautiful island of Jamaica, We have our problem has do many countries but that don't take away from the fact that this island is special

Not really Rohan, Kingston it's not really Party, it has very strong history and historical areas, it's because the violence are very dense &Tourists are encouraged to stay away from Kingston. 🇯🇲 advertise the resort more than the history. Thanks Ace. It's a shame 🇯🇲cans r not advertising their Island.

ACE there is so much more for you to learn about Bob Marley, I am from St. Ann, I went home one year in the late 80's and took my Parents to Bob Marleys house where he was born, just the little house and his relatives were there, my parents did not realized that Rasta was real People. I will never forget that day they cooked for us and I watched my parents enjoyed what the Rasta Man cooked. They told me many thanks for the enlightening of the Rastafarians. So from that day my father called me his Star. Then I took my Husband to meet Bob Marley when he came to San Diego. What a beautiful world and beautiful people we all are. Bless Up Yu Self.

So much to celebrate about our peoples ("Out of many...) and our nation. Thanks, Ace! Love you openness to embracing many cultures.🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲❤️

so I visited this just a few years after Bob's death and it was a totally different place then - it is a shame to see how commercialised the placed has been made - we were not charged to visit the home but left a donation to the village / Hamlet. It was nice to have seen the area as it was so soon after we lost Bob, to have seen the Hamlet just as it was and not what it has become for tourists.

Yeah the wall was put up so people can have peace on the tour. There Was a couple that was on the tour with us that drove there by themselves. Although there wasn't a lot of people there it was because of what happened in 2020 everything kind of slowed down but things are slowly getting better again. In previous reviews prior to visiting the tour I did read a lot of people saying that it was not wise to go there without a tour guide because sometimes people can get aggressive. Which explains the wall. But I do agree your experience seems to be way better cause the wall can be distracting but it is necessary. But I want you to understand once you pass those doors where you stop filling about filming things change drastically but that's an experience I can't share you have to see it for yourself.

May I humbly suggest the Bob Marley Museum in Kingston as a better alternative to 9 Mile. I have taken guests many times to 9 Mile , and to be honest , it's a clown show. "Owned by Bob Marley's brother" - I won't even mention him. The museum gives a much better presentation of Hon. Robert Marley OM 's work, journey as a Pan African, and Rastafari rebel with a cause. I speak as a Jamaican who saw Hon. Robert Marley perform 3 times. Rastafari Emperor Haile Selassie I No apology Give thanks for this video

👑 Bob Marley was a prophet sent from the most high to enlighten the people in righteousness 😢, he was like Christ who also came with a message that the rulers were not comfortable with, for he would of enlightenment the people, but this would of caused a problem for the elite who wanted to have power over the people and did not want the people to rise up. All Jamaicans should be listening to Bobs words today and make Jamaica a better place. EMANCIPATE YOURSELF FROM MENTAL SLAVERY ♥️ Wake Up Jamaica 🇯🇲 ♥️🙏🏽

Cool video.really liked that ..also.. just in case ya like to know..The wailers wasn't the band ..the band was basically the upsetters...Lee scratch perry's band ...the wailers was Bob bunny Rita Peter and Jr...they was a singing group that sung over a studios house musicians....I think that is what made those early 60s records so great..the singing was rehearsed on the streets then if a studio liked it and ya got lucky they would put ya on a track.normally pre recorded ....etc..when Bob got signed to island records in England..they pushed the Bob marley and the wailers bit ..to make it seem more excessable to the college students and rock fans ...I love later bob tunes. but the wailers to me will always be Peter bunny n Bob .that harmony section ..unstoppable..the gladiator's and wailing souls got very close .amazing vocals..but Bob bunny Peter together..beautiful

He should have told you that Peter Tosh was originally a part of the Wailers. It also includes Bunny Wailer (Livingston). They all went solo.

This is a Bob Marley tour, not the Wailers tour. He can go to the Wailers museum in Kingston for that.

It's crazy to think he buried where he was born. Went all over the world and came back to where he was from.
