Nice work Ace. First Cuba, now this, I think you've found your groove. All your content is good, but these have been great. You've got me searching for documentaries.

Although my dad was one of Jamaica's first five rastafarians, we were educated under colonialism and taught to be embarrassed about him. Some of this info is new to me. Thank you! Rastafari!!!
You have to understand that every Rasta has their own understanding and belief or worship of Haile Selassie. There are differences in the beliefs just like how Christians have many denominations. But at the heart of Rasta, regardless of personal opinions is LOVE. As far as Jamaicans, some love and respect Rasta and some don't. It's just like how some Jamaicans hate their own country and culture.

On his way, he chanced upon all the ideas that stirred his time. From Bolshevism to New Thought, from Gandhi to Anarchism, from Garveyism to psychoanalysis, he sought to find his promised land. With this cocktail of ideas Leonard "Gong" Howell returned to Jamaica and founded Pinnacle, the first Rasta community.
