At this point in time, it's going to be the same thing with the stadium tour. Really the only band is going to come close to sounding like musicians might be Def Leppard. Checking out your vid as I just saw them in Tampa last night. Was wondering if the song set was the same...it is. Just a little bummed it wasnt longer (I coulda watched another couple of hours for real!😂) and they didnt play some of my personal favorites. I suppose tho with their ages its time to settle down a bit and 50 years of song choices they had to choose effectively...Still high energy and theatrics...all said one of THE VERY BEST CONCERTS I have ever been to.
your channel is very good, I was looking for a KISS concert, and I ended up here. We're enjoying it here at home with the TV on loud. A big hug from Brazil.
I first saw Kiss on the Kiss Alive II tour. Been a big fan ever since. At their age they having the time of there life with all the fire and explosions. Yes they had them way back then also but not to this degree. Go as long as you can guys.
Love this guys. At that age doing that. Still rocking. Part of my youth. Lovem for ever. Remember Paul had a grave issue in his vocal cords. They are the show.
Was lucky enough to see this tour in March 2020 right before the shutdown. Yes they are old and slow. Gene actually sings better than Paul, but it's still Kiss. I bought Destroyer and Alive in 76 when I was 12. That was life changing. I liked the retrospective set list. Lots of stuff of Alive and some 80s. Thank you Kiss.
Unbelievable how these guys don’t get tired of playing the exact same set every single night. Same songs, stage banter, year after year. Great camera though!
Kiss is one of the biggest and richest bands in the world. They have the money for these big production shows. Other bands don't, they can't afford it. There's not many bands that can do shows on this level. It's way too expensive.
I like how you guys are getting hard for pyrotechnics and effects. WHO THE FUCK CARES? The Greatest said it's about your craft! That's what counts. These guys barely had it 40 years ago. They've been a cheap cover band for 20 years now. They're a joke
@@paulwarren6062 please that was back in the 70’s and 80’s! Theres bands that are many times richer! Not everyone wants to see roman candles and bottle rockets thru a whole show!
@@ImperialRadioYT Not a huge fan of the band anymore after listening to Paul rag on everyone publicly like he did, but to say they barely had it 40 years ago is flat-out ignorant. Granted, all their best work was done in the mid-70's, but they're concerts were still among the best throughout the 80's. KISS pretty much pioneered the entire genre of rock bands throughout the 80's and 90's and even some in the 70's like Van Halen. I'd hate to imagine the rock world if KISS never existed. I have to wonder how old you are, because I have noticed with each generation, people don't seem to realize the world existed long before them without many of the things that exist today. Youngsters today do not understand historical context. When KISS hit the scene, their style of rock was unheard of. Bands like Motley Crue, RATT, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Alice In Chains, Nirvana, and so many more would not have been what they were without KISS. I do understand the sentiment, regarding the actual skill level of their playing- it's pretty mediocre and probably overrated among fans. I feel the same way about The Beatles who were only as big as they were, because they were pioneers and unlike anything else in their time. The difference is, if KISS came out today and all their hits were new, it'd probably still be relevant. The Beatles probably wouldn't sell a record if they came out with their stuff today.
Age is a bitch. It gets all of us. This band did more than the regular rock band physically. Running around in those heavy costumes and boots can't be easy. Gene has the been pretty damn strong all of these years, but he just can't move like he used to. And that's just how it goes. But they left a lot of music and video for us to enjoy.
@@captaindanger6664 That's not true. He has a growling "gravel" voice and a clean voice. The growl would be deemed not the healthiest of techniques. His "clean" voice or natural would be on "Goin Blind", "See Ya Tonight", "World Without Heroes" and so on. These are the songs where Genes vocal abilities shine. I understand what your point is if your talking about Paul's overextending doing his voice raps and just the unnecessary abuse and strain he put on his voice in the shows. Which seemed to get longer and longer through the years. And.......I never thought that was an enhancement to the show. But anyway, back to Gene Simmons, he really is a very good singer and to use the often overused term, his vocal ability is truly "underrated".
Paul Stanley is nearly 70 and he still has 90% of the energy onstage as he did in the 70s. The high jumps & splits in the air are gone but seriously that move was a young person’s play and add in platform boots and I can’t believe anyone could have ever done it. He’s a true entertainer.
And Paul has half the vocal power he did in the 70s. You failed to mention that, didn't you? Or mention how pathetic Gene and Paul perform onstage. The only reason they're any good...Tommy & Eric.
Saw Them at KISS Alive II in Naha Okinawa 1978-79, I was 11 Years Old. Saw Them in 2019 in Everett Washington. Same show as 1974 Still Rock the House. A Truly Great Show. You will be entertained for sure with the Flying thru the air, the Pyro and theatrics. A Great Band who has stood the test of time.
Saw them during the Destroyer tour. Major kickass show. No interference of cell phones and the whole venue smelled like maryjane. Those were the real rock shows!!!! ✌
Saw these guys in Houston 2 consecutive years while attending TAMU..'76 and '77. They actually sound better now. This was a fantastic show in Austin. Its clear they have invested some of their "winnings" over the years back into sound and display production. Go see them..guaranteed to put a smile on your face. LOTS of those post concert..
Well, look at Keith and Mick, on tour as well... in their eighties, right? Or have they reached 90, perhaps? Don't really know, actually. And if you ask Bjorn and Benny of ABBA, their age has no relevance, what so ever. They will be 40 years younger on their coming stage show in London next spring. Avatars. And I'm pretty sure Gene and Paul will copy ABBA and let us watch the original set up of KISS another 50 years...
It's hilarious how people these days watch an entire show through their cell phone. Why bother spending money on a ticket? Stay home and just go watch You Tube.
For the simple reason that most people will forget a significant portion of the show over time. If you record it, you've got it in perpetuity even if you wind up a slobbering, diaper-wearing baby-man in your "Golden Years". And, for the record, if you can't record it and watch it at the same time, you probably shouldn't be counted on to successfully navigate a vehicle in these here YOUnited States of Amurica.
if you record concerts on your phone, you're a fool.....unless its your favorite song. do what you want, i guess. but while you are watching the show on a two inch screen, i am drinking beer, singing WAY off key, and grabbing your girl's tit and catching guitar picks. the cell phone has created a legion of short attention span twits.
Focus on what's good in everything, not what's negative because hate will eat you alive like a cancer. And while I have your attention, one of the problems in society today that could be a game changer in the direction we are going is.... ""Everybody wants to TALK, but... Nobody wants to LISTEN!! Not only listen better but hear what they said and think about for a moment and they should with you.
Well - they can say what they like online and all the podcasts out there. This was a great concert - KISS still has it and they aren't afraid to use it - baby!

@i know alot about alot watch and learn: The original KISS, (especially Peter and Ace), is what KISS fans fell in love with to begin with. KISS doesn't become what they did without Peter and Ace. Carr (RIP) was an excellent drummer, and so is Singer. But Peter's percussion and singing fit the KISS sound perfectly. And all respect to the other guitarists that came after Ace, (Vinnie, Mark (RIP), Bruce, and Tommy), but none of them had/have that Ace sound.

I took my kids to see them here in Austin!! It was great seeing them again and for as old as these guys are they still rocked the stage!!!

Great job whoever filmed this. Thanks for sharing it! This never gets old for me. 57 years old and my first time seeing them I was 14.
It was my first time seeing Kiss. I’m 64
34 here and just saw them in Tulsa! Thinking about taking my nephews to the New Year’s Eve show for a once in a lifetime show
Checking out your vid as I just saw them in Tampa last night. Was wondering if the song set was the same...it is. Great great show...disappointed show was not longer...they didnt do some of my favorites (Strutter Forever Lets put the X in sex) but at their age the energy level theatrics crowd involvement....i gotta say one of the very best concerts ive ever been to. Well worth going to. Thanks for sharing your vid!
@@dawnnave2944 How long was your show?
@@esparka To me...it seemed and felt VERY short! They didnt get onstage til like 9ish or a lil after and were done before 11 no encore. Not to say it wasnt a great show...cuz it rocked.
Thanks for this! I couldn't make this show and was so bummed. This was the next best thing to being there.
Same songs,stage banter,year after year.
Great camera though!
@Joe MacNeill we are all worker bees lol
That's what made the Grateful Dead so good.......over 2 thousand shows , no two the same

I can see you filming the show🧐
Great Video and very good quality.👌
Alot of bands need to focus on their lite show and pyrotechnics like these guys!! Awesome
Guys, im just stating how great their lites and pyrotechnics are…. We all know the band is great
@@paulwarren6062 please that was back in the 70’s and 80’s!
I was at that concert it was my first concert. I am 13 and i've liked kiss since I was 10.

greatest band that ever lived
Great Show, thanks for filming It! Gene has the same solid voice from the 80's...simply rules
Plenty of energy. Not so much on the vocals side.
@@kurthanke5788 Getting paid seems to be their only goal.
@@thsbulldawg82 That's the goal of most people who have a job. This is their job.

Was at the Forum when they recorded their Alive II in 77'. Definitely a great show.
70s shows were the best. Saw Destroyer tour!! Their shows were EXPLOSIVE then. ✌
Saw them during the Destroyer tour. Major kickass show. No interference of cell phones and the whole venue smelled like maryjane. Those were the real rock shows!!!! ✌
If cell phones bother you that much you really need to chill out. Enjoy life, you only get one.
Of course his voice was better back then......It was over 40 years ago.......
Still rocking at that age! Much respect.
As a KISS fan for 40 years they're moving a bit slower these days. But they are still as awesome as they were in the 70s!
I'd make an age joke about these dinosaurs but when you compare it to the crap that passes as rock these days, I'm just glad they're still at it......
i know, right? damn
Well, you just called them dinosaurs so mission accomplished! lol

Examples please? Crap?

Isn't Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons in their 70's?
These old guys still got it going on.
I remember seeing them in Lubbock, Texas on October 31, 1979.
Yes they are! Amazing huh.
Easy with vocal and music tracks .

Thank You for filming this. 👍 Good Job.
It's hilarious how people these days watch an entire show through their cell phone. Why bother spending money on a ticket? Stay home and just go watch You Tube.
It's all in the experience. You can be the one who partied at the show, or you can be the one who wasn't there and try and compare the experience.
But thank the guy who did this excelent recording
For the simple reason that most people will forget a significant portion of the show over time. If you record it, you've got it in perpetuity even if you wind up a slobbering, diaper-wearing baby-man in your "Golden Years". And, for the record, if you can't record it and watch it at the same time, you probably shouldn't be counted on to successfully navigate a vehicle in these here YOUnited States of Amurica.
i did
if you record concerts on your phone, you're a fool.....unless its your favorite song. do what you want, i guess. but while you are watching the show on a two inch screen, i am drinking beer, singing WAY off key, and grabbing your girl's tit and catching guitar picks. the cell phone has created a legion of short attention span twits.
