I apologize for intruding on such beauty, but I have to say it is beyond my ability to comprehend how Madonna is so well known and Tatiana is not . We live in a poor and wounded world. I weep.
The jazz harp is so beautifully executed! The harp is not an easy instrument to do single notes accidentals on, it’s just not inherently built for it. Just wow.
Oh, this is gorgeous. And it so great to hear young performers paying their respects to the past, whilst giving us their own little twist to the music that we all love.
Wonderful!!! Beautiful singer with an angelic voice. Beautiful tempo and phrasing. Incredible Harpist. Never heard a harp played like a guitar. Incredible violinist - Bravo. Excellent performance. Best wishes for the future.
The French original title is "Les Feuilles Mortes", i.e. The Dead Leaves". It has to do with autumn, yes, but with the end of love too. Les amours mortes, dead loves. Real pity the French original title is completely ignored.
Great performance! Each of these artists brings something special. My attention span is horrible lately, but this I listen to the end and wished for more. Thanks.
One of my all time favorite songs and you do a superb version of it. Wow!!! Absolutely love it.. everything is top notch..the singer and her gorgeous voice, the phrasing, the arrangement, all the instrumentals, the musical talent, etc. Magnifique! BRAVO.
Lovely arrangement of this classic, beautifully played and sung. I never thought I'd see Tatiana upstaged - and by a harp; but it compliments her voice perfectly. More please!
I really liked the swing... guys u're great!!! The musicians with perfect timing... the sweet voice of the singer... I loved you. Cheers for you! In this world so full of obvious and disposable things, you young people are a grateful and welcome surprise...
Ah, what a wonderful listening experience. As Cleopatra would exclaim, "It's beautiful!" and "It's very pleasurable!" Yes, indeed. The song penetrates the soul, not only the body. Thank you and congratulations.
Tatiana , beautiful gifted musician , the harp is very meaningful to me as I am Irish born and reared .✍️ Thank you so much for the complete enjoyment of listening ❤ Mary Canada 🍁
Simply superb, brilliant, the pinnacle of jazz perfection. Most interesting arrangement and combo of not often used instruments. Imagine if you added an accordion. Bravo.
Autumn leaves. Such a lovely standard, nice to hear the harp arrangement- demonstrates that jazz isn’t owned by any formula or instrumentation. Great voice, great violin (fiddle). Great harp too. Hope you guys work together again- strength come from the sum of the parts.
so beautiful..the phrasing is heavenly--my favorite new singer--such heart and intelligence in a style that triumphs over mediocrity in the music today..well done!
You guys are really great. Wow!!! The style & era of your music is to my ears absolutely wonderful. Music like that never grows old. I'd love to have a cd if they are available. Thanks much, ric.
A pleasant and interesting visit with an old friend, punctuated by a solo of breathtaking facility and grace. Fine job all around, but hat's off to Adrien Chevalier.
Daniel, that violin is just part of Adrien. I just dream I have him visit for a month - a day an hour even. And, hey, didn't the boys bring out a whole new Tatiana?
I've heard many covers of this beautiful song, (original French title "Les Feuilles Mortes") from Yves Montand and Edith Piaff to Andrea Bocelli, including Nat King Cole, Matt Monro, Libertad Lamarque, Gigliola Cinquetti, Louis Armstrong and many more; this is among the best ones..
Since I am reading so many wrong information. For the record. "Autumn Leaves" (Les feuilles mortes)is a popular song and jazz standard composed by Joseph Kosma with original lyrics by Jacques Prévert in French (Poem written in 1945) sung by Yves Montand. Nothing to do with "La Mer" from Charles Trenet.
I apologize for intruding on such beauty, but I have to say it is beyond my ability to comprehend how Madonna is so well known and Tatiana is not . We live in a poor and wounded world. I weep.
Greatness has no relationship with popularity.
I totally agree 💯
@@helenaville5939 greatness always stands the test of time anyways
It's not the world it's the people and as long as it's people like you and me we're ok it's all about prospective
I feel your pain
I have never heard a lead solo played on a harp. Bloody marvelous.
and meanwhile he keeps playing the bass part !
Thanks!
The jazz harp is so beautifully executed! The harp is not an easy instrument to do single notes accidentals on, it’s just not inherently built for it. Just wow.
This gypsy style on the violin is just brilliant.
Gypsy & jazz are one of the most natural ways to go....smooth or heavy as needed
I have never heard a harp played so freely. The violin is paired excellently. And the singer is smooth as silk. Bravo!
Oh, this is gorgeous. And it so great to hear young performers paying their respects to the past, whilst giving us their own little twist to the music that we all love.
