Always enjoy to see you,Jeanette! You have got a lot done,,I never feel like I accomplished Much,,, Love the Iron! All UR projects are wonderful,,, You look great, too,, Elaine😍😍
Hi lovely to see you x you have been very busy with all your beautiful makes 😊 thanks for the heads up on the shawl I’m still to start mine when I get my act together x love the iron wow 😀👍🏻
Same here Jeannette with the Betwixtmas shawl. I really found knitting that last ball of yarn quite stressful playing yarn chicken and losing 🙁 I only had enough yarn to knit row 1 of the garter stitch border. before casting off.so I was two rows short as well but there was no way I was buying another skein of yarn. Lovely episode as always. You’ve enabled me to buy the pattern for the bunny bear. It will make a cute baby gift.x
So pleased to have found you. You will love your iron, I bought one about 6 years ago from the US and then had to buy a power converter. I use it every day and it is going strong (fingers crossed that I havent jinxed it). I have seen that they are now available in Britain and am thinking of buying one for the inevitable day when mine gives up the ghost. I am now going to work through your videos from the beginning. Oh and I too have found a washing line for some yarn bowl playtime.
Pamela Dungar welcome Pamela, great to have you with us. My iron well what can I say, I absolutely love it. It’s the small things in life isn’t it? I’m so easily pleased really. 😂😂
Hello Jeanette, I'm a new subscriber and I feel right at home in your little crafty world....I'm also accident prone and accidently do all of the same things....I have hankered over that iron for months now, serious iron envy happening here, can't wait to see what you think of it...💕
Yes please for DPN, i think it is 20 cm, i will check and tell you tonight, wow i love you crochet shawl, i saw thus iron on Missouri star, i couldn't believe it i had to put the video back and watch it again, it is a fab iron, hope you will enjoy using it💐, i will send you the DPN measurement, i think it is 20 cm, it is for knitting hats.x
Lovely podcast Janette. I’m fairly new, watched your vlogmas ,really enjoyed it well done...and I’ve made a rope bowl! Thanks for the easy to follow tutorial 🤗
With your hexies you could sew the panel onto a background (or just 4 strips along each edge) that would mean your have straight edges so you could make your bag ❤️
OMG Jeanette this is so weird but I was literally watching a sewing video the other day and the lady was using that IRON .. I've never seen one before it looks amazing I have iron envy 🤣🤣 love all your makes, it's so nice to be able to dabble with different crafts. Wishing you amazing 2020 Jeanette and fingers crossed I'll be seeing you too 🤞😘😘❤
Thanks that’s what I have been doing , I cut mine on the bias approx 1” to 1 1/2” and wrap but you can see a raw edge with each wrap is that right or do you turn under the raw edge first.
Could you tell me how you add the fabric highlights to the rope bowl. I’ve made a few but don’t seem to be happy with the fabric bits . Is there a knack to it!!
Marlene Faull yes I think there is. You wrap the fabric around the rope. The sew the fabric into place as you continue sew round, if that makes sense!!! Lol. Hope this helps 💔
Always enjoy to see you,Jeanette!
